Tim McCarver was a pretty fair catcher too. Became close with Bob Gibson and later Steve Carlton’s personal catcher. Followed him to Philly in fact. . I heard once the two of them wanted to be buried exactly 60’6” apart.
Thanks man. I get to watch you do your thing and I don't need to buy any or open any packs. You save me a lot of money because I got out of collecting over twenty year ago, after I got my 1960 Topps Whitey Ford. card.(I hated the Yankees team all of my life but always really respected their talent, especially those of my day, Mantel, Yogi Berra, and Ford etc. etc). Btw respect doesn't always mean like . In fact Mickey Mantle fans can partially thank me for making his cards more rare because I can remember ALWAYS having eight, (8), Mantel cards clipped to ny bike forks, 4 ea fore and aft, to make that sound and to purposely destroy them. Good times! LOL! Anyhow, my sincere thanks.
Just came across your channel. I live in Pittsburgh (south hills) I have went to some local flea markets (trader jacks..etc) but out of all I have found the best deals at estate sales and garage sales for cards. The money market nowadays is for the insert cards that have low production and not the cards we collected as kids. Always have loved opening packs and boxes reminds me of Xmas morning! Keep up the good work
Nice vintage cards but I would buy in at least excellent -mint condition. Of course it is my preference in terms of buying old cards. So far I have 388 Topps 1967 cards 80 percent in near mint condition 20 percent in excellent -mint condition. Including 18 in PSA graded, Rod Carew in excellent - mint condition and Hank Aaron near mint.
I just had my best cards looked at by an ‘expert’ that includes Molitor, Rice, Ripken, Griffey Jr RCs and a lot of good Nolan Ryan’s. He offered me $300. 🤦♂️
This is going to sound like a dumb question, but where do these junk vendors come across all of the old baseball cards? It seems like they would getting them from you, not the other way around. LOL!
Hey Erik. I clicked on your "follow the flip" Link to see about helping you get some of those boxes sold and Noticed its on KruksCards Listings on Ebay. IS that an Error or do you have something going on when those guys up in Michigan?

I have no affiliation with them. My FTF boxes sold out, so it's likely just redirecting you to another seller with the same item.
Thank you!
