I don't think it's weird, because I also think the same. But it's because I am still learning to love myself and truly focus on the inner beauty of other people. So when I see people bigger than me I feel good that I am not the biggest (2x now but spent my 20s starved in the throws of an ed). But this isn't healthy (its like looking at homeless people and being thankful you arent as unfortunate as them, which is a different sentiment to that of being grateful you have a home if that makes sense?) so that is one of the many things I am working on healing. If these women put as much time into exercise as they do their makeup then not only would their beauty become apparent but their lifespan would increase by a few decades.
@bucko3353 first of all you have no idea what the health of each of these people are. Health is not determined by how fat or skinny you look. There are a bunch of things that go into it. Second why do you care what there bodies look like? How is what they look like affecting you at all? Also what makes them not beautiful already? Just because you personally don't think they are doesn't mean that they aren't beautiful. You don't get to decide that for everyone. And lastly there are many studies that show that weight doesn't always play a factor in how long someone lives.
@@abigailgrant3444 obesity is an indicator of bad health, there are other indicators but obesity is one of the most obvious, by this we can determine health via obesity, although this isn't the only factor. How they look is not affecting me, however it is affecting them and it is affecting (and infecting) the minds of the innocent, impressionable children which use this app, my reason for pointing out their flaws isn't for my sake but is rather for their own sake and the sake of those they are influencing, the fact that you assume peoples words are always self-centred rather than selfless is perhaps a reflection of your own intentions. Beauty is an interesting subject and it isn't entirely obvious to what degree beauty is subjective and objective. What is known is that beauty is something which we are born with an understanding of for the sake of knowing the health of the opposite gender for the sake of procreation, those who are healthier are more beautiful and evolution dictates that people who are attracted to healthier bodies are more likely to have offspring that are healthy. The evolution of the idea of beauty predates the existence of humans, beauty is an indicator of survivability, utility and fertility. All studies show that obesity affects lifespan.
@bucko3353 you say their beauty would become apparent but they already are beautiful. Just because you don't think they are doesn't mean they aren't. Also you can be healthy and still be over weight or be unhealthy and be supper slim, that is the point i was trying to make about health not being determined by how fat or skinny you look. How we determine if someone is overweight is a flawed method that was never meant to be used for that. Yes obesity can cause life span to decrease but it doesn't for everyone and not all the women in this video are obese. Also don't you think they already know their own "flaws". I don't think they need you to point those out for them. Commenting negatively on people's bodies can cause people to develop eating disorders and other mental health problems. I for one have struggled with an eating disorder for many years and when I saw comments about people's bodies it made me even more aware that I didn't look the way society said I should. I don't think that people's words are always self-centered, and there is no way for you to know if I do or not, but what you said sounded very self-centered to me. Like you felt it was your responsibility to point out that they should spend less time on there makeup and more time at the gym. Also working out doesn't do as much for weight loss as healthy eating and healthy eating is expensive and not accessible to everyone. We don't know what type of money these people have and at least in the US eating healthy as so much more expensive. Also beauty standards are subjective. There have been times throughout history where if you where larger then it was a sign of wealth and that you could live comfortably and so those women were seen as more beautiful. What people think is beautiful is different from person to person not just in weight. There are also many things that can cause a person not to be able to have children and they aren't all do to weight. You can't look at a person and know if they can have children based on weight that's not a part of how we have evolved and saying that people go for those who are more physically fit because they can procreate is wrong. Also just because they are selling clothes in many different sizes doesn't mean they are promoting some unhealthy lifestyle. People of all sizes live in this world and need clothing so to offer and advertise those sizes is just making clothing accessible to them like other people in the world have access to the same products.
@@abigailgrant3444 you poor girl. the words you espouse are not your own but rather they are the words that are driven into your head everyday via social media and other other television, your thoughts arent really your thoughts, you were programmed to be you. None of your arguments apply to the arguments i made in my prior reply, the points i made in my prior reply still stand. your understanding of the aspects of evolution are greatly limited and this applies to your understanding of health as well. to say health isnt determined by how fat you are is untrue, disingenuous and manipulative. you point out that there are other aspects which affect health other than obesity but this doesnt disprove that obesity leads to a large variety of health and lifestyle problems, by doing this you are simply avoiding the topic. if all aspects of health are identical in 2 women except for obesity than it can be concluded that the leaner woman is healthier unless she is anorexic. using poverty as an excuse is not only ignorant but is outright arrogant. true poverty is not having the ability to ever afford enough food to get fat. and how fat someone is isnt determined on the quality of food they eat but rather the calories they consume, the same amount of calories from a healthy food will put on the same weight as an unhealthy food. calories in, calories out, this is the determining factor of obesity, more exercise is more expended calories, less food (regardless of what that food is) is less intact of calories. to lose fat is to exercise more and eat less, its really that simple, if you are poor then you can decrease your caloric intake by eating less of what you are already eating, if you cant afford to go to the gym then go for a run, running is one of the easiest methods of spending calories and its free. If you lose motivation to run because you cant run far that's ok, because if you get tired quicker that simply means you are expending calories quicker, after all running with extra weight expends far more calories. So a fat person can spend the same calories as a skinny person in much less time while doing the same exercise. there is no excuse to be fat, even if you have no arms or legs there still isnt an excuse, a method for health regulation is always attainable no matter what position in life you are. those videos and articles about how fatter women/men were seen as more attractive are simply manipulations of truth, it is simply a case of ignoring evidence against and only accepting evidence for. any historian worth his weight in salt knows that there are always a few standards for beauty which are time immemorable. the standard for the most attractive woman since ancient times to about 50 years ago is a young, fertile, lean virgin. the standard for an attractive man is a rich, strong, skilled, experienced gentleman. all people have different values and values can change overtime within a culture, however these values i mentioned for men and women have always remained and have never disappeared, even if a portion of the population within a culture abandons 1 or 2 of these values (and they only do so because of indoctrination, not because of nature). fatness is revolting, plumpness however can be attractive. fatness is something which to a degree is necessary for a woman to be seen as attractive, however anything beyond curvy is not attractive. think of it this way; does the fat of the woman exaggerate the hip to waist ration? if yes then it is attractive, if however the fatness reduces this ratio then it is not attractive, this is scalable. for a woman to know how much fat is most attractive (and by extension healthy) then she simply needs to know which fat level exaggerates her hip to waist ratio (large hips, smaller waist). if an anorexic woman gained 20lbs then her hips would broaden greatly and her waist would thicken only slightly therefore increasing the hip to waist ratio, if a fat woman lost 30lbs then her waist would reduce in size greatly and her hips would reduce only slightly, increasing hip to waist ratio. also fertility exists on a scale, it isn't limited to; can breed, cannot breed. fertility affects the health of the child not just the capability of producing a child, an obese woman's children will be unhealthier at birth than if she were leaner (although all pregnant women do need some fat).
I love how the size of the dress is completely inclusive and looks beautiful in all the sizes. Many times you find that larger sized dresses aren’t pretty, just hard to find in general or we’re designed for smaller sizes in mind only and when enlarged doesn’t work well.

Love how the design changes ever so slightly to accommodate different body shapes without becoming a different dress all together. It shows that the patterning is done correctly instead of just making larger sizes wider and taller without rhyme or reason.
oh yeah! good point. a common complaint is plus size clothes are just increased (made wider/taller) with no regard for proportion or how bodies typically get bigger. these all look like they were made for the respective sizes...
Love that this dress is designed appropriately for each size rather than simply taking the S and sizing scaling it up all over. Women who are larger are not necessarily taller or have longer inseams.

That's what I saw! The dress looks great on all of them!
so true! a lot of plus size clothes do not look as flattering as the same clothes but in smaller sizes - this shows that it's not simply because they are on bigger bodies, but because they are not designed well in the bigger sizes. this dress looks stunning on all of them and put other companies to shame!

Yes! Even so many “inclusive “ brands are lazy af and have either simplistic boxy cuts that look terrible on everyone equally, or they start with a design that won’t fit every body and then half-ass and cut corners to make it extended sizes. I sew and even struggle sometimes refitting my *own* clothes when my body shape/size/weight fluctuates, this takes a lot of skill and thoughtfulness from start to finish of the design and is so refreshing to see 🥹

Honestly, I'm so glad they had xxs, a lot of companies don't carry it or larger sizes, just the 'normal' sizes.
Because it's not normal to be morbidly obese 💀
Same! I'm tall and super skinny so my sizing is either L/XL or S/XS lol
In Europe it is pretty normal (the xxs), it's waaaay harder to find XLs or anything above that
XXS was by far the hottest. Not sure what the obsession is with large breasts. AA is where it's at.

Say it's weird, but it's so nice seeing sizes bigger then me because I've always felt guilty for being the biggest sizes in everything.
Edit: hate to edit posts like this, but stop getting so pressed. I have multiple eating disorders (bulimia and a restrictive intake disorder) and terrible genetics and it's nice to feel I'm not alone. My size has been seen as weird and unhealthy, expecially because I am gender non-conforming and show my body more. Seeing women still be beautiful and be happy and be bigger than me makes me feel less guilty and more at peace with my own weight.
Another edit: I AM A BOYY!!😭😭 Pls stop calling me she
Angry edit: MEN CAN HAVE EATING DISORDERS!! BIOLOGICAL BOYS OR TRANS BOYS!!! mental issues and health issues should NOT be gatekeeped. Thinking otherwise is shallow and pure gross.
Why are there so many edits edit: y'all are trippin. Let people be themselves. It's not lack of discipline or anything like that. I have PTSD, over eat because of it, purge because I feel terrible about it, and the cycle repeats. Sure some of it is about weight but there are other things behind it. Y'all just wildin
nah i feel this same way
sameeee
I don't think it's weird, because I also think the same. But it's because I am still learning to love myself and truly focus on the inner beauty of other people. So when I see people bigger than me I feel good that I am not the biggest (2x now but spent my 20s starved in the throws of an ed).
But this isn't healthy (its like looking at homeless people and being thankful you arent as unfortunate as them, which is a different sentiment to that of being grateful you have a home if that makes sense?) so that is one of the many things I am working on healing.
I grew up with a mother with extreme self esteem issues from being bullied her whole life and she handed that down to each if her daughters. So now i am trying to break the cycle. @@bucko3353 no all of them are beautiful ❤
@@Hibruh44 how so? They have foregone the natural beauty God has given them for the sake of giving in to the desire to put yummy things into their mouths. Not only have they done this but they are also so arrogant as to then go around calling themselves "beautiful", this is not only delusional but it is also insulting to women that put in the effort to achieve beauty. But it doesn't end there, after this they will then accuse anyone who doesn't agree with the notion that they are beautiful as hateful bigots and they also take advantage of the culture (which has been artificially made) to then get all women on all degrees of beauty to refer to them as beautiful and if not they will be ostracised by all the other women.
In this day and age a woman who says fat women aren't beautiful will be ostracised and a man who says they aren't beautiful will be demonised. The fact of the matter is that people call these unhealthy, obese women "beautiful" not because they actually believe it but rather just to earn some social brownie points, all at the dispense of the poor fat woman who will die at age 55, with many painful health problems spanning decades.

can't believe people are getting pressed because fashion brands are giving plus sized people something to wear. what do you want them to do, walk around naked?
edit: some of you guys' mindsets are pathetic. yes i completely agree being overweight is bad. but you can't change your weight drastically overnight. it's a long process that has to be sustained. people need something to wear in the meantime while they're still overweight... and you're complaining.
This society would rather pretend they don't exist 💀 its sad
Sometimes people have trama that could make them gain weight. Some people are too quick to judge others, I really wish people aren't like this but sadly just by scrolling on the comment section there is alot of people fat shaming the plus size people on here. Some of them are too quick to judge because you *never* know what a person is going through just by looking at your screen for 30 seconds on a video like this. They could be going through something that is making them like that or they have a disorder of some sort. Not all fat people eat 24/7 and don't try to get exercise, sometimes it can be for other reasons too
Plus if u don't like how much these girls weigh on here then scroll on some else video instead of fat shaming, it's a way much better and more appropriate decision
Edit: I'm not trying to promote obesity once so ever, all I'm trying to explain is that some overweight people could have something going on in there lives that could be making them the way they are or they live in a poor environment. Once so ever I'm not sticking up for overweight people just explaing how you can't judge someone so dang quickly by how they look. I mean yes looks does matter in most cases like interviews and stuff like that, and lets all be honest we all looked at someone and thought to ourselves and thought how they looked either in a bad or good way but you truly, and I mean truly cannot judge someone 100% unless you been in their shoes or they told you how they got the way they are, hopefully you understand where I'm going at here

Agreed. That dress made everyone look great no matter what size. So kudos to the designer

I love how the size of the dress is completely inclusive and looks beautiful in all the sizes. Many times you find that larger sized dresses aren’t pretty, just hard to find in general or we’re designed for smaller sizes in mind only and when enlarged doesn’t work well.
I was just thinking that it really speaks when something is designed and looks good in all sizes, that's when you know it's a good design

It truly makes you accept company more when you see that they actually have different sizes that look like they fit very well. All these women are gorgeous.
What about the actress in Hollywood and models who are on strict diet then? If these 10 years worth of oversized bag of chips look gorgeous then of course you are a liar and you don’t want them to know the truth . Does it make you sleep well watching these unhealthy lies being posted and you cunning human have to spout lies such as they are all gorgeous

みんなすごい似合っていらっしゃるし、自信ある雰囲気がかっこよすぎます、、

Love that this dress is designed appropriately for each size rather than simply taking the S and sizing scaling it up all over. Women who are larger are not necessarily taller or have longer inseams.
It's a tent, not a dress.
