Recently the Oascar || had upgrades from local distributor as follows: - Steam wand COOL TOUCH swivel 360° with steam tip 4 holes - Anti-vacuum valve - Gigleurs to improve thermal stability - Over Pressure Valve (BYPASS adjusted at 9 bars) - Professional Pressurestat SIRAI/ASCO Do you think its a good deal with 1200 US Dollar?
Hi, it is true that the música remembers the last power state. Meaning that if the machine is on and you toggle off the switch in the back, when you toggle the switch again, the machine will be ready? I’m interested on this fact to use a programmable outlet to turn on the machine before I wake up
Hello, I have a question. We are looking for an espresso machine. The purpose of this is to make 20 30, max 50 Espresso-based coffees with milk in a workshop, 10 20 Espresso / milk, that is, a machine in which the boiler will not be a problem when using steam, and the water will not stay cold.
Thanks. What's your opinion on the Oscar 2's pressure and have you measured it? Seeing reviews that it's way too high and there's a need to install an OPV kit
We measured it and yes it’s a bit higher than necessary so if you desire a lower pressure then an OPV kit will help you immensely if it doesn’t void your warranty. Otherwise until then you may just have to compensate with larger doses, finer grind, more pressure when tamping to see better results.
Assuming it’s not something as simple as the water tank being low or a clog in the plumbing, it could also be a buildup of scale. All you’d need to do is purchase a descale solution. If this doesn’t solve the issues definitely call for further assistance in diagnosing the issue.
The Oscar II seems to have more pressure from the factory and only has a one second preinfusion, whereas the Musica has a three second preinfusion. So ideally you need to make your grind finer, dose larger, or tamp harder when working with the Oscar II. Though they are both excellent machines!
Great video, mate. Thank you for sharing
Great review and very useful comparison, thanks a lot 😊
Thanks,
It is true that the musica looks better and the Expresso shot seems better too..maybe pre infusion is more solid.
Great review!! Thank you so much!! Especially for responding all the comments!!👍
Our pleasure!
Everything clearly explained. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

You guys stocking the new Oscar Mood any time soon?

Hello. Does the Musica have the same high bar pressure issue like the Oscar?

Playback speed at 1.5 sounds like normal conversation speed. 1.75 is still completely intelligible.
thanks so much for the review it helps a lot

Have you dealt with the Musica if it doesn't pump enough water or brew coffee correctly?

Output 55 vs 39 gram, does it mean that Oscar 2 has more pressure? Is it a good sign?

Its flow restrictor is too wide and it's recommended to install a smaller one to slow down the amount of water it pumps
I am not getting any wiser.
Just a sum up of the tchnical features.
I get the impression the cheaper machine is making a better espresso
Can these brew back to back shots?
Yes they most definitely can!
