Should be what you said 826$. So why 82... I don't know. You need to reach out to etoro to help you with that. Or see the transaction history to see any clues what's going on.
Thanks for the vid, if I understand correctly say you buy an asset worth $1000 and you use 10x leverage (you pay $100) if said asset appreciates by 10% does that mean you make $100? or am I missing something?
Yeah, that's pretty much how it works. But don't forget, if the stock goes down by -10%, you loose all your "initial" money. And probably Etoro would exit the trade automatically (so you can't go into dept)
May I ask the overnight fees will be deducted from profits or available funds? I notice my available funds kept getting lower after I set 2x leverage. Is that the case?

Can you go into debt with leverage? Or does etoro auto sell your position to pay the borrowed money back?
My understanding is that you can't, they will stop the trade to take their money.

no, you can only loose what's in the trade.
If you win, you get the profit ( - normal fees)

How do I switch between sell and buy in the same trade without opening a new trade on etoro?
Hi Roland, I don't think you can do that. You just need to open a new trade.

At 1x leverage it is just your capital and you would have been able to apply no stop loss to the trade
