    Thank you so much for this tutorial Sam.
    I've been struggling for two years, trying to colour blend with my spectrum noir markers. Your tutorial was just so easy to follow and much less complicated than all the other tutorials I've watched.
    Thank you, thank you, thank you x

    This is such a good tutorial on blending. I’m like you when it comes to picking colors, but seeing you use just one or two colors makes it looks so much easier. Thanks for sharing.

    Super. I had already bought these and was struggling to use them. I'm inclined to use coloured pencils or watercolour pencils. I was finding it difficult to blend. This review has been very helpful. Thanks Sam. 😄

    Thank you for a great demo :) I have Rheumatoid arthritis and I've noticed that I write better with triangle shaped pens, so this is great that they do this. Thank you for the tip about using the same colour to shade. I've been battling with touchnew pens trying to shade like others show with different shades and it gets a bit too blobby. I'll try your method. I believe this is much better. Thanks

    Thank you so much for sharing this video. I have had these markers for almost 2 years and hadn't really used them because I wasn't sure how to get the effect I was looking for since, like you, I am not great at picking out colors that would blend well. I am so happy to have found your video (and channel) and am excited to pull the markers out again and have a play.

      Hi Michele, thank you for your kind comment, I’m still learning lots about blending with alcohol markers, but I still like this simple way to colour, quick and simple, which is what I like. I’m glad you found it usual 😊

    What types of palate do you suggest for markers? Can you use them on watercolor paper? Can mixed media paper be used for water colors?

    Hi Sam! Thanks for the review and showing how to use the markers- personally I'm a little scared of mine and really need to pull them out and practice more- but just wondering, did your paper warp after having that much colouring on it? I know the colour bleeds through the paper, but I have previously had a warping issue however it was on cheap cardstock. Just wondering if yours did being on the better quality card? Thanks again!

    • @MixedUpCraft
      @MixedUpCraft  5 лет назад +1

      Hiya, nope, no warping at all. I used a good quality heavy weight, my swatch sheet, demo and cards are all completely flat. I've always felt more comfortable with water colour as I felt I could control it better and erase areas. Since I've been playing with them, they are actually very easy to use, and the blender pen helps to fade in places and clean up areas where you may have gone over the edge. I still have a long way to go and want to get better highlighted areas but that's all down to choosing my colours. Just grab yourself some heavy smooth card stock and go for it :)
