I really enjoyed that vlog. Its chucking down here tonight as I watch your vlog so its fitting to sit back and enjoy. Loved the content with loads to see and enjoy. Thanks lou and Greg, looking forward to the next one. 😎
Hi Greg! Love your diy videos. I have watched all of them and use your diagrams and ideas in my own van conversion. I am from Croatia and I am so glad you have seen my beautyfull country.
Great parks up greg and how kind and generous where those people letting you stay and use the facilities, just shows you theres alot more good people out there.... cheers glen
That was a brilliant video a little bit of everything just what we want to see. What was fuel prices like. Well done keep them coming. Loving it. Paul and jilly ❤
Another great video Greg. Fantastic scenery, you both look really chilled out. Lou's little speaking parts give a nice balance to the commentary. See you soon, Love to Lou
I hope the sound was a little better in this one. I put up some of the levels. Although in places it does sound loud to me. Do you listen through headphones in the studio? Love you both x
Another great video Greg. We did the journey from Split to Dubrovnik in 2017 crossing the border twice is a complete ball ache. We visited Havar, Mijet and Kortula as part of the trip. Kortula is stunning so can't wait for your next video. Ask the locals about Marco Polo. Split is also stunning. Very different to Dubrovnik but it has a real charm to it and less tourists. Keep these video's coming... Brilliant.
Nice one Greg. We have been in Croatia for over a month and I have to say, its one of the most beautiful countries we have ever visited. Parking up was never an issue for us because we are out of season. But so many reviews on Park4night said they were woke up and fined 1000kuna per person in the van. So my advice to anyone, is visit out of season! 😉 All the best Greg & Lou👍
I have to agree, it really did surprise us and hope to return to explore more. Omis was incredible but we had bad weather so want to go back there when it’s sunny 🌞👍🏼
@@GregVirgoe Its a good enough reason to return to me 👍🌞 The entire Makarska Riveriera is just beautiful. We will return to see more of the islands I am sure. We managed to get around 3. But just couldn't afford to see them all. So left that open for holidays in the future! 👍
Hi Greg and Lou really nice piece of video:::::::I can see why your probably best camper van you-tube channel........Out of interest have you any shows planned this year........Take care both you
That’s very kind of you and yes we do have some shows planned. We will be at the NEC on Saturday in February. We have the van on show at Camp Quirky in May, tickets go live today at 10am and I’m doing a few workshops their. We also have the van on show at Stratford International Campervan show in June. 👍🏼😃
glad you are finally putting that beautifully built van to use!! I like how it's so calm you just decide to kind of whisper. I haven't finished watching it yet. I ordered my van! Will probably take 9 months. i need some help with my electrical and how to lay it out. I have a better idea now but am wonder if i should just put most of my cables to a bus bar. The one that is puzzling is the isolator (not getting a dc to dc charger yet). I upgraded the alternator from 180 to 220 A and am wondering how much actually gets to the house battery, i think the isolator supports 140. I expect my two agm batteries will be charged in an hour of driving. You had Great Weather.
I would recommend you go with a DC to DC charger as it will meter the correct amount of charge into your leisure batteries depending on their make and state of charge. Be careful trying to put too much charge into lead based batteries too quickly can cause overheating and more series problems. A rule of thumb is 10% of the rated capacity. So 200Ah of battery should be charged with max of 20amps. 👍🏼
Hi both, great vid we went to Croatia with our moto went down all that part of the coast , thanks for the views on the roof at debrovnik as the queues where so big we gave it a miss, we did do the change of countries u did but before brexit so it did take a little while to get through but ok, we stayed in trigera and it was great very jealous of u both , thanks for all the memories ,
Nicely filmed and edited Greg and you managed to show a lot in half an hour. Those e scooters looked fun and seem quite nippy. I hope you slept well with the storm, as it's a real treat to be tucked up in bed with the rain pelting the roof.
Yes we traded the bikes in for scooters on this trip. They take up less space in the garage of the van. They have a top speed of 27kph which is a good bicycle speed 😃
Looks a stunning place definitely a place we want to visit and yep baps said he would have done what you did island hopping instead of going into Bosnia 🇧🇦 hope to cyas 1 day we do miss ya but don't tell anyone 😉 🤣🤣❤❤
We got insurance at the border for Bosnia - and although we had concerns about it only being 3rd party, so glad we did as it was absolutely stunning. It was also very interesting visiting Sarajevo. Great people, great place! I just used to take the fuel pump relay out whenever we left the van to give us extra peace of mind! 😂
I've loved this one. Starting off with those beautiful skies again. I'd wondered if you'd explored those disused out buildings :) I was exhausted walking up those stairs in Dubrovnik old town too lol It's good to know about the border crossings Croatia/Bosnia. I bet a lot of people don't give that much thought. I know I wouldn't have 🙈 Another dose of fabulous scenery... "and that's it!" 😉
So glad you went to that little bar on the outside of the walls in Dubrovnik ❤️ We had a brilliant time in Croatia out of season We got caught in the mother of all storms further up the coast in Rovinj.. We were parked up with our friends in an old disused campsite very similar to the one you guys stayed at, and there were trees falling around us and we had to retreat to safety We did the border crossing into and out of Bosnia with no problems at all although it was very surreal.. We love turning up at border crossings and experiencing what each country has to offer.. Montenegro and Albania were really cool crossings, sat with mainly locals 🚐💨❤️
The little bar was quite busy even though it was out of season but it got cold very quick when the sun went down. I’ve since found out about the neum agreement where Croatia locals can transit through Bosnia with minimal fuss, I’m guessing set up mostly for trade and lorry’s etc 👍🏼😃

Good vlog greg as usual but I noticed on last few videos the sound was going up and down I don't know if it's the mic r my tv but I watch a lot of RUclips and it only seems to be yours now not all the time but I still enjoy them all
The last couple have been edited on new professional software to handle the 4K drone footage. I always tweak each audio track to get it to approx the same level and when I review it sounds ok but what parts are quiet to you please 😃👍🏼

The videos were shot back in Nov last year. We are back in uk now but thank you for the recommendation Is that the city with loads of Roman buildings? 😃
Hi Greg and Lou Could I just ask why is your driving seat lower then the passenger seat is it because of the swivel base and how have you found the comfort of the Merc factory seat on mileage
Exactly that the swivel has raised the passenger seat a couple of inches. The driver seat is really good and I never get any fatigue driving. When we came home on the previous trip I was driving 10hrs for 4 days straight and had no problem at all. 👍🏼
@@GregVirgoe I have had a number of dash cams in the past that just seem to pack up eventually, I have recently been told about Nextbase, thank you. Do you have one or two gas cylinders on your van and do you have an external fill socket? Where are you currently
It really doesn’t. When you live in a van you can do it very cheaply. We no longer have a house so no bills from that. I pay running cost for the van and food. 👍🏼😃
What a stunning country , love the places you’re stopping at x fabulous to hear Lou’s commentary too ❤️ x
