Kart tracks have a lot of Stories Like Birizdo Kart circuit in Hungary was built by the Birizdo family. The father owns Mercedes Services and Dealerships since the 90s and when his son got into karting there was only 1 circuit 300KM away in the whole country so the father decided to build his own track for his son to practice on and it even became a a track in the European rotax max challenge but the kid grew up and now doesn't race anymore so mainly the hotel/office building is used, the track is just for national races/ rotax max central-eastern CEE championships and test days since about 2015.
I have absolutely never driven any kind of race kart before but I always found it amazing to watch on videos. Well a few days ago my dad and I went to this Track to see these karts irl. And just before we left, we walked over to one of the teams that was training at that day and they made me an offer that if I become a bit more experienced with rentals I can participate on one of the training days and they'll give me a kart with a junior engine. So maybe in this year I will be able to drive those. Stupid excited :D
I understand you're excited mate! It's a wonderful experience, but keep this in mind: in this world, nothing is given. You'll have to pay for everything
Last session was way better. You could see you were way more relaxed which often works out to be faster. Even how the kart was reacting was better. Definitely work on slowing things down in your head and smoothing everything out, that was the clicking point for me which resulted in a championship. You get too stressed, don't.. which I know sounds easy but you can see it in your driving.
I love these videos! Keep them up! I subbed Maybe a few months ago and I have been hooked ever since. Great commentary in this video and good explaining of kart setup as well. I want to do the same sort of thing you have been able to do by creating videos of you karting and doing stuff on assetto corsa and eventually being able to make money to race. That is what I am aiming to do and it is great insight into how you are doing so well. Hopefully one day I will be able to get enough money to race in owner karts or even cars in the future. All the best! And well done if you read all of this ;)
All the power to you dude. I have to be honest, only a small percentage of my budget comes from YT. The rest I earn by working for my dad, and sponsors. But, in the end, hard work pays off!
@@RedExions Thank You for the advice 🙏 I am trying to get sponsors for myself but it is very difficult when I am only doing arrive and drive stuff, but I am doing this series called club 100 which is very competitive and popular over here in the uk so I am hoping I will be able to use that popularity of the series to help promote myself like when they did the live stream for round 1. But thank you for the reply! All the best to you!
Start hitting the apex properly in every corner. Consistently, lap after lap. Your driving style requires a lot of grip it seems. That level of grip reduces exit speed. Consider hiring one of the top mechanics and driver coach. Or just join a team where they know what they are doing. From experience I know that makes all the difference
We are working on it. My driving already was an improvement over last race weekend, especially the last session of the day. Right now I'm training with my team boss who is an excellent mechaninc, and for the races I have a different mechanic who is also very skilled. The driving seems to be improving and I think we can get the kart to work better too
Henke kaltern is not a front runner, he is very average. Also a pointless test you done to check if the chassis is ok. Should have put the correct amount of kg, the engine and tyres from his chassis. 🤦🏻♂️

These are stories you only hear about karting
Dude that drift in the fist lap was clean

In most cases OTK needs a stiff Seat, I also tested the Jecko and had the same problem with the large steering angle.
In my opinion OTK needs a soft seat. Almost everyone runs a T11 VTI or VG
6:05 beautiful canteen nice interior 👍
The only canteen with soul IMO

yes the driving was definitely an improvement. Now the kart lol
What is the telemetry system that you are using? I’m only familiar with MyChron and Alfano.
Just liked and subscribed so you can keep racing. Keep up the good content
Lucas Luhr is another notable driver who raced here and made a big impression on Michael Schumacher.
Did not know that!
Yesss Kerpen
i think green hill is more appropriate, the first level sonic the hedgehog races through for a nickname to the track :D
God vid Bram, as usual. For a guy on a budget what kart trailer would you recommend to buy?
a van is much better then a box trailer less chance of getting stolen and you dont have to drive at 80-100 Kph
@@R3RS2024 van is more expensive and I do not have the budget and the space for it
You can buy a used horse trailer, they can be really cheap and there is a lot of space in them.
I'm afraid I can't help you since I don't have any experience wth trailers
A trailer won’t cost tax if I’m correct, that’s the thing that’s better than with a van

Yes we werken er aan ;)

I see you already found it!
Hello, you drive in the same team that Henkie Kalteren ?
He normally races in X30 with a French team, but he did a testing day in Rotax with my team. So kinda, yes
Hello Bram, do you remember what Gear Ratio you where running?
Yes, 12/75
@@RedExions im driving 12/76, so maybe I will try the 75-74,( I’m also lighter than u )

@@RedExions Sounds great 👍
And what time did you di
45.4
🔥
How much do you weigh?
+/- 80 kg with full gear
Are you there on Friday ?
No, sunday!
5:55 what’s wrong with the 80s?
Nothing, it was just very outdated ;)
@@RedExions yeah, I been joking, did ralf buy it for 1€ or the kart track? Didn’t understand btw
did you have to remove your visor sticker ?
No, I found that I could point the camera downwards
gotta fix ur braking into turn 1 and throwing the kart into the corners. trust me the kart will stick. u are not throwing it in enough
You're saying the opposite of what my team boss says lol
8:10 Cambox cameras are great when they work lmao. Absolutely hate the app that they use. Broken English everywhere and it hardly connects properly
The firmware on the cam itself is unstable too. Half of that day's clips got corrupted
@@RedExions damn that sucks homie. I’ve been lucky that my files haven’t been corrupted. Hopefully not yet lmao
Why do you sound like Günther Steiner lol.
I am him.

I wouldn't consider getting P7 in the Euro series average, but I agree on the second part.
