It’s becoming so hard to do political satire now, when the targets are often acting in ways that in the past would have been rejected as unrealistic parody but now is simply the news.
It reminds me of Bremner, Bird and Fortune. During the lunatic horror of the Iraq debacle, they just gave up trying to satirise what Blair and Bush were up to, and just repeated what they had said verbatim.
Brilliant comedy, in a "pass the shotgun, I can't take it any more" sort of way.

I love comedy, but remained TOTALLY straight-faced throughout. This seemed "amateurish" and slightly "childish." Certainly unfunny. In any event, politics is a rather "dry" and somewhat boring subject. I actually felt the need to dislike. Sorry, but that's just my opinion. Others may disagree? But we can't all be the same?
