Y'know, contrary to the cutscene's implications, the game is programmed so that, after the Eternamax battle is wrapped up, Eternatus can be caught in any Ball infallibly, so an ordinary Poké Ball actually would have sufficed.

I think that's a Nintendo problem in general. Games like Luigi's Mansion 3 & Animal Crossing New Horizons characters said incomprehensible things while we had to read the texts to understand them.
This has to be my second favorite battle of the modern era games, only outclassed by the magnificence that is Ultra Necrozma with it's godlike music. The music was amazing, especially when used with the cutscenes, Eternatus is a total beast and looks sick, the cutscenes have gone to foreboding to despair and finally the feeling of being unbeatable and I love it. Phase 2 was dissapointing, since you do nothing. They could have you being unable to attack while Eternamax Eternatus overwhelms us with powerful attacks while defeating your team on by one until you only have two Pokémon left and after struggling to survive a hopeless battle, then phase 3 kicks in with Zacian and Zamazenta arriving like in the game. Phase 1 and 3 are fine, with phase 1 being the legendary battle and the third one being a comeback and pushing it back and finally stopping it. If the second phase gave you a sense of it's overwhelming power and the hopeless situation, then it would be perfect.
So that whole calamity that happened way back then... happened because someone messed with Eternatus when they shouldn't have. Well, you know what they say about not learning from history.
I like how they're so surprised by Eternatus jumping out of the Pokeball Like you're trying to catch a fucking legendary Pokemon. With a Pokeball. At least use Ultra Ball or something
I really like that cutscene. The protagonist was really expressive on that one, unlike the rest of the game. Just wished I could play it again, but I progressed further and with only one save there's no turning back unless I started all over again. :( Also, my party was a little bit over lv60 and I brought my Gigantamax-able Eevee to fight Eternamax Eternatus. XD
@@zamzammohamed2108 The game was on auto-save by default, so I thought I could play that part again while recording by turning off the game after that scene but it just bypass it. Past Pokemon games don't do that on your save file by default.

Idk why, but after beating the fire type gym, my Pokemon would always be 20 levels above the trainers and everything I fought. I think friendship was the reason they didn't disobey me or something. Leon was still pretty difficult though.

It's possible that the capsule is modified for this catch.
