Thank you for this. When I was a kid I use to walk along the railway tracks on the beltline. Between Marlee ave. and Avenue rd. As well as Marlee to Caledonia. That was back in the 1960's. I miss those rails. When I was about 4. I was living on Castlefield avenue. I walk to the nearby tracks and my father caught me as he was driving a cab. Boy did I get it. Again thank you for the journey.

    Really like your stuff.
Why not do a video on Smalls Creek from the lake to the old headwaters up in Woodbine heights, specifically, Woodbine ave. and Woverliegh ave.

Great video. Much better than Strides video on the Trail, so much more information for non- Torontoians and less egotistical. My new visit Toronto touring vlog. Keep up the good work

I, for one, can't imagine why that lady at nine-fourteen and her acquaintance weren't able to initially see eye-to-eye on their mutual issue. She just seems like such a down-to-earth person.

Act 1 - rip up rails, terminate right of way, spend a bunch of money on a park
Act 2 - smugly tell voters how great you are for being green
Act 3 - smugly tell those same voters that we can't have good transit because there is nowhere to run rails without spending a bazillion dollars digging tunnels
BTW thanks for producing these videos - I do enjoy them - I just think that ripping up rails and their associated rights of way is one of the dumbest things a city can do.
