I learnt that in 1899 and 1966 the issue.was settled. Why are we still using word "dispute". Nothing should be in dispute.

Unfairness or not, Venezuela agreed to the 1899 arbitration. And now waits over 100 years to reclaim territory, we all expiration dates and this claim expired in 1905. “You snoozed you” stop being a BIG BULLY Venezuela and focus on fixing your economy and do right for your people, they are suffering and need you to do that for them not waste money, time and energy on this case. And BTW you have more territory and oil than Guyana and still can’t get your act together.

The border Wes setteled in 1899 and ratified in 1905. Venezuela acquired a great chunk of Guyana's terrority in 1899 up to the Orinoco River .we, the Guyanese people, are not giving up a blade of grass Essequibo belongs to Guyana historically,from the Dutch when they ceded the colony in 1814 to the British who granted independence in 05 26 .1966 ,to present Guyana. Venezuela has never administor Essequibo .This matter is before the ICJ. Guyana will abide by its ruling .Any misadventure by Venezuela to change the status quo of Guyana's terrorital integrity will not be tolerated by Guyana's international allies. Venezuelans need food, not Essequibo. Long live Guyana and its international allies. Essequibo belongs to Guyana.
