Neat video Chris, I think I know the guy you are talking about that might need the new boiler. Boilers sure are neat and definitely make sense for those who can have them. Hey there you go find someone who is friendly with your karen neighbor at home, find out when he is on vacation and put a wood boiler in your garage that's a plan. If you are someone who has been burning wood at home for a long time switching to a wood boiler is just so so nice. Every room in the house is warm and consistent. It's really easier and less work loading a boiler every 12 hours compared to feeding a woodstove every two hours. In the 15 plus years i have been taking care of our house i have destroyed the living room floors in front of the woodstove and basically destroyed the living room porch with wear and tear.

I have seen all kinds of wood stoves wood boilers so on but it seems the newer ones don't last as long as the older ones . Back in the old days they made things to last. I recall a Motel/ Restaurant that also had a indoor pool in Maine that heated everything with a out side wood boiler. Now I have been burning wood most of my life and I saw his set up and did not feel he was thinking this through. The guy had no place to store the wood. The wood boiler was between the building and the parking lot. I asked the guy where does he keep the wood he is going to be using 10 months out of the year. The guy thinks about it for a few minutes and said well I have to load some wood up in my truck and drop it off every day to last that day and night. So I said well what if there is no way you can make it from the wood pile to the wood boiler? He said I will cross that bridge if it ever comes to it. a week later he had a couple cords of wood sitting in the parking lot by the wood boiler.
