- Duuuuude, the eBay turbo kit we got the the K20 swapped EK Civic is actually not bad! there is a lot or parts missing, but the car as a whole looks really good with what we have installed, especially the K-Tuned wire tuck harness with the valve cover and coil pack cover! Im hyped!

Tip for ANY kind of adjustable upper controll arms:
Tighten them every 2/3 months, they WILL loosen up at some point and you will crash if youre driving at high speeds,
a friend of mine didnt check them for 1 whole year even after i warned him and he ended up hitting a tree, he passed away and i dont want to see you do the same thing

@Dennis Moroz it will work to some extent, but as its a sliding mechanism just thread locker wont stop it from sliding after months of abuse

I still to this day feel like it was my fault even though i warned him,
I think about the fact that i could've done it for him instead and maybe i could have saved him almost every day, and because it happened a pretty short amount of time ago, it still hurts to see people who install them and think it doesnt come with the risk of totalling your car or worse
But things happen and i cant go back in time

You could run the turbo pipe across your fire wall then behind your wing underneath where you fixed the rust with that bar. That way it won't cut across your engine bay so you can save space, less bends used aswell

Def flip where your running the piping on the intercooler, cold side to passenger side hot side to drivers side, or get a same side dual inlet intercooler like all the other turbo K series guys!

I clocked my turbo down on my DIY top mount and ran oil return through the timing chain tensioner cover so I didn’t have to drop the subframe & oil pan LOL

Take a look at how the rsx turbo kits are set up, changing to a single side in/out would save you a lot of headache and less points of leaks.

For your brakes line, there is company that sell a whooolee kit braided line from the MAster Cylinder to the Prop-Vavle to the 4 caliper, it's called Valex Racing its like 465$CAD.
I have that on my Civic and it's soo easy to installed. For the price its very good.

I boosted my 8th gen before winter and used the same manifold. you pretty much have to go over the valve cover unless you can weld aluminum, or want to use a ton of couplers. my hood sits higher than yours does and clears no problem so you'll have to test that. I got a same side intercooler from eBay and it made running pipes much easier, I was able to finish it with one generic 2.5" kit. the intercooler took about 3 weeks to come in, I'm in Ontario too, but you can try jspec performance in Scarborough they may have some in stock.
Also don't worry about getting that middle bolt on the manifold, I never got that one on, reused the stock manifold gasket and it hasn't started leaking yet.
The intercooler piping is backwards. Make the throttle body side go to the passenger side intercooler slot & the turbo side the driver side turbo slot.. only way it will work with that mani fold... all side winders even run that set up

Robbie, the oil drain bung looks like it is designed to be welded on not compression fit through, if not then it is made for a steel sump rather than the ally one of a k20

On the turbo get a tight radius 90 welded onto the turbo outlet and clock the turbo facing downwards. Ik it’s an eBay kit but without a nicely fabbed piping setup it’s gonna come out looking half assed. The engine bay looks clean don’t ruin it with a jank hot/cold side intercooler piping. That’s just my 2 cents. Also an intercooler with in/out welded onto the same side of the end tank would make your life easier.
Turn the turbo so the cold side is on the left saves on piping and you don’t have them crossing over eachother a lot more efficient

Get an intercooler which has both ports on the same side, it will make your piping 10x easier, also IMO the turbo should be clocked down look much better ...
Run the intercooler piping from turbo to driverside, not the other way will look a lot better imo.
Need a k series designed intercooler the piping is all on one side

Test to put the "U" pipe from the throttle body and then under the manifold. Then you dont have pipes all over the place
