It happens to me too. But I see the flash when I wake up in the morning and with my eyes still closed. What about you? And I am just 48 years old 😢
Mine also getting better, at least I think they are, since they get smaller in size but never gone. Besides my floaters increase in size and number, I think. I am so worried and helpless, should I undergo surgery? But I am afraid after surgery the condition doesn't getting better
@@darianprotho6622 From the research I've done since this post, I doubt you have anything to worry about. 48 years old seems to be a bit young for this detachment to occur but it's not unusual. I would suggest you see an ophthalmologist, however, just to make sure you haven't torn your retina.
@@mje1625 thank you. I visited an ophthalmologist this June and she told me that except cataract everything was ok. I told her that when I woke up with eyes still closed I see in the darkness a lot of thin lines like something broken and the flashes I told you before when I change my glance quickly from sides to frontal. But she said eyes nerve was good so far. She asked me whether I see lightning ⚡? If so I should visit her again. I don't know whether I imagine it after she mentioned it, in the darkness when I wake I sometimes see a lightning shape that move around. 😩
There are times when I think that I should let go and accept whatever happen, if I am going to be blind then be it, no need to struggle but sometimes I think that at least I need to do something before it happened. It kind of push me to the religious side of life. No attachment. I know that is out of topic but I am really helpless and hopeless.
Sometimes I even hope that miracle happens and somehow my eyes will cure themselves.
Hi
How you feel now
I got a question I can’t got to a doctor for today but I’ve be experiencing flashing in the eyes in the shape of a croissant in my peripheral vision and on and off for about 2hours I’ve had around 3flashes events that’s only due down when I experience pain on the left side of head. And they seem sort of color through a pretty bland.
I see yellow lights going on right eye corner , i m 50 nd minus no. Is very high
if i see flaire only when i see the ligth bulb directly, is it something to concern about or its normal? i can not see directly to lightbulb its too bright for me.
So basically I’m cooked😔
This was helpful I'm seeing floaters when I go out in the sun. Or when I am in a place where a light is brighter. I haven't seen any bright lights through my eyes. Mine come & go off & on.
Did you find why this happened to you?
how many days patient needs to get clear vision after cataract. surgery. thanks
It really depends. Most people need 2-3 days to see well, some can see well 1 day later, and some need as long as 1 month to fully recover. Hope that helps!
