I have a PS5 controller that discharges itself, without me turning it on, I changed the dialog, inductor and changed the battery with a new one, is there any way to understand where the charge energy is actually discharging?
hey man. i have this controller the backpaddles just dont power on? i have checked everything and it look prestine. all ribbions clear not marks on board ect. another wierd thing is it power on and works like a normal controller (altought the L3 Click, Clicks but no action ) any suggestions?
Could be an issue with the main SCUF flex. If the connector has been even slightly folded at the part that goes into the scuf PCB the chances are the flex has cracked traces. They are super fragile.
Another great video. I do have a question about the dimensions of the switch, which are mentioned on the uber micro website. It says that the dimensions are 35 x 25 x 2.5 cm. Are the dimensions correct? Because to me they do look smaller than 2.5 cm.
Hi, the dimensions shown on the website are not of the actual switch. It's just for postage and packaging quotes. Sorry, we should make that more clear.
Every controller have some bad and good things. Scuf is not that bad, they have simple solutions. DualSense Edge is a good controller but only have 2 back buttons and very bad quality grips. My advice is: Edge or Scuf, other are just a junk 😁
I've got an Egde and it's a great controller so far, I've had it for about 3 months now. My Scuf broke after about 6 months and I've heard others say the same. The biggest benefit of the Edge is being able to replace the analog stick modules if they get drift!
Edge .. It's the only official one where you can swap out the modules (expencive controller and expencive modules). Don't recommend SCUF at all!! Even a Power A controller is recomended over a SCUF.
@@UberMicroRepairs Hmm, on the end, it all depends which games someone playing. People don't buy a Scuf to play games like Pepa Pig... Scuf and many other "Pro" controllers are mostly for games like Call of Duty Warzone etc.. Edge is a great entry level Pro controller. And again on the end no one wants to make a controller that can last 5 years, money, money and money 😁
Another video saved in my controller repair folder. Thanks again!
Glad to help

Makes my decision of getting the edge easier!
