Zulhazreen Hazreen I really don't care much about the cinematography. As long as the lore is not ruined. Like they don't start making substories that change the way we see the movies or stuff like that.
I think this video personifies why this franchise has endured. Yes, jurassic park was a hit. But what keeps us coming back is the intrigue of what happened behind the scenes and the corporate shady coverup that followed. We all want to know the secrets of what Ingen was up to. It's so intriguing to think about.
It's interesting that the T. rex even tried going for Brachiosaurs. Maybe because it was a cloned animal without parents in an unfamiliar environment it tested out which animals it can go after, similar to the Indominus rex. Maybe that's true for all cloned animals in the franchise, not just the hybrids, and would explain the strange behavior of Spinosaurus, the Big One and such.
If not an animated TV series, a comic book series covering the events that took place after Jurassic Park would be immense. These small details are great teases but they hint towards a truly interesting spinoff story, worth visiting in glorious detail.
I would LOVE to see a live action show depicting InGen's various activities. I think set on Isla Sorna would be coolest because they could dive into the cloning of their "secret" assets like Spino and what not. Set between Jurassic 1 and 2 when the village was operational. The show could even cover different time periods each season covering isolated story lines to maintain freshness and cover the entire franchise. There's a million ways they could make a good show, I hope they do.
I would like to see a tv series based on the 1994 Ingen clean up. Even after I first saw Jurassic Park at the theater in 1993, I always wanted to know what happened in the months following the incident. The sequels have never really gone into this in detail so a tv series would help fill the gap between the fist JP and The Lost World. Talking of the Lost World, I’d also like to see a tv series that tells the story of the events of hurricane Clarissa which led to Site B being abandoned.
I think getting small details like this allow the imagination to fill in the rest in a way that's much more satisfying than actually seeing it unfold on screen. It allows a segment of it to remain mythic or legendary.
I love the extended canon, especially stuff like this and dirty little secrets like operation clean sweep, but I think I prefer them with that air of mystery that comes from exploring old files and having them presented as tidbits of lost data like your vids. Would love more Jurassic, but I think some things are cool to keep mysterious.
Good vid, I would like to see the events between JP and TLWJP as a TV series which could air after JW3 comes out along with maybe shows set in between each movie whether they are live action or animated. However considering how expensive making TV shows are these days whether they are live action or animated along with viewership figures still being used to justify if a TV show lives for a whole season or gets axed it is unlikely to happen. Unless Comcast don't care about ratings while making expensive shows they can put them on streaming services so that millions of JP/JW fans worldwide can watch them and if they are good I'm sure we will support them.
Ingen should have tried cloning things like Woolly Mammoths and Dodos to try and recoup its loses. Safer animals that would bring in big money to be sold zoos and private owners
@@rocekth doesnt matter what made Dodos extinct, still would be huge if brought back. Mammoths I should rephrase would be easier to manage compared to dinosaurs
You know, come to think of it, it would be nice to have some side story with this franchise talking about how InGen dealt with the failure of Jurassic Park and how they tried to save themselves from bankruptcy before the events of "The Lost World." It could be like how "Rogue One" told the story of how the rebels got the plans to the Death Star, which they used to destroy the weapon in "A New Hope."
Love this. I remember pondering as a kid in the late 90s and 2000s what became of Nublar; since we only got to see Sorna in JP 2 and 3. Jurassic World never directly gave us answers either.
I've wondered what happened to the park's dinosaurs after the events of 1993 for so long. I was also curious if Ingen had ever found the remains of Dennis Nedry, I now know they did. Much was revealed in this video.
I think seeing the transition as stories on either TV miniseries or as a new movie would be perfect, especially since that comic you told us about which planned to feature an adult dilophosaurus deserves a second look at
What blows me away about the whole aftermath of the Nublar incident is that Dennis Nedrys' family still thinking that they were entitled for a lawsuit against InGen...
Yeah well, that sort of thing happens a lot. A guy in my town was working at the farmers co-op, he stuck his arm inside an auger that had gotten clogged up even though he had been told multiple times not to do that. The glog worked loose and the auger ripped his arm off. He tried to sue them and thankfully lost.
I tried to be first and failed miserably... But succeeded in being early! Btw great vid Klayton! Always bringing me new information about Jurassic Park that I (probably) didn't even know.
Here's a chance for Universal to establish an animated series. They could make it's execution similar in style to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This way there'd be no challenge when original characters like Malcolm, Hammond or Wu are required to appear, simply find voice actors who sound similar. It makes sense to do due to there having been a craving in the fandom for an animated show ever since the original two attempts(Return To Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect) were both cancelled in early pre-production. Do it, Universal, it's your one chance to expand the property.
I would honestly love to see a 2-3 season series on Netflix. Not just showing what happened after the first movie, but also before the park. Showing when the animals hatched, then getting shipped to the park. I’d imagine there’d be a little more than a few violent accidents before the park. Or am I the only one who thinks this would be a good idea?
This could at least be a 10-ish part mini-series, or if they could write enough detailed episodes it could be a few seasons. I would absolutely love it!
Rusted fences , ruined cars , abandoned buildings overgrown by the jungle , raptor corpses in the visitor centre and in the distance a T. Rex roar The thought of the park after the disaster is both chilling and sad
Oooooo i was waiting for a vid like this, awesome! Could you maybe do a vid at some point talking about the hatchery lab scene in the novel where the raptors attack Alan? I think that would be really cool
What really gets me is how much they differ from the novel with this. In the novel, Compys were on the island to eat the dinosaur crap. Hammond never made it off the island after falling down a hill, breaking an ankle and the compys killed him. Nedry was discovered when the power was restored and the storm had passed. Also, the island was blasted with nuclear missiles and nerve gas to kill off all the dinos. Its funny how they have made the movies the real thing and the novels are basically completely different stories with a few characters that share the same name as the films.
Rexy needs to eat. And since she unintentionally dwindled her food supply of typical sized prey for a t-Rex it makes sense for her to eat the bigger herbivores. Now if she were smart she would’ve tried eating the younger brachiosaurus who strayed behind in a herd, or she would’ve done quick hit and runs on the bigger ones and waited for a infected bite mark to slow them down.
It’s stated in the novel 1 trex needs a few hundred parasaurs to survive for its entire life so food was probably extremely low for the carnivores like the trex was left to roam free for 4 years which means the trex needs to find 4 years worth of food on a island with very limited dinosaurs
What's always confused me is that Ingen tried to play Malcoms stories about dinosaurs as crazy campfire stories, yet they planned to bring the dinosaurs from Sorna and open a Jurassic Park San Diego. Would that not make Malcoms story much more likely in the publics eye?
I would love to see a TV series built around this. They could do like a season to build up to the incident then do a second season to show the clean up of '94.
This is a great video. Any chance you’ll do something similar for the other films? I’d love to know what happened after the Lost World and how InGen managed to cover up the events of JP3
Could you explore why Masrani Global decided to abandon Jurassic World? I never understood why they pulled all employee's off since once the I-rex was dead there were only 2 dinosaurs loose: Blue and Rexy. All other dinos were still locked up in their enclosures and the pterosaurs were tranked and put away. No one to look after all the other assets and investments in the other animals.
I think just remaking Jurassic Park altogether for TV would be great. As long as they're with a network that is willing to dish of the money required for exotic sets and the digital and practical dinos. They would probably find a way to ruin it, but maybe not. Each season of say 10 episodes, that covers what would be considered a single movie or book. They'd be able to add in all the side plots and characters from the books that got cut, and allow for the writers to get creative with time spent between each island visit.

Interesting video I think it’d be amazing if a spinoff movie was made about the events that led to the fall of Isla Sorna! Instead of a group of endorsers it’d focus on a group of workers showcasing the dinosaurs & island!
I’d love to see this story told somehow. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a full length movie or long drawn out series or anything (although I wouldn’t totally be opposed to that either), but something visual/on-screen depicting these events would definitely be awesome
A spin off series before Jurassic park would be cool. Like maybe the main character is one of Henry Woos assistants and realizes the dangers of what’s happening but doesn’t say anything. Something like that would be sick.
Awesome topic. I would definitely watch a tv series or movie on this. They need a minor character that has 4wheeling experience, knows how to fix vehicles, and knows about 4x4 recovery. If I was going to a tropical island I would want someone who knows how to get around in a vehicle.
I'd like to see them continue the comic series. Instead of a lame website trying to change the canon, they should write new comics that fill in the gaps. The comics always did a great job of filling in the events before, during and after the movies.
Did you hear about the Jurassic Park 25th anniversary release? It’s coming back to the theaters for 3 days. 16th, 18th and 19th September. I’m excited and I’m gonna watch it.
A mini series would be amazing. We could actually see all the cool things klayton fioriti uncovers! More people would know how the plot holes were fit in. It would be great for Jurassic
Awesome video, always! But, you forgot the 4 Herrerasaurus. We now know there was a 4 individuals during the incident although their DNA was not 100%. And, during the clean-up, InGen found all individuals are dead. By the way, I really hope to see new Jurassic World: Regenesis episodes. It's very fun.
I think this would make a great novel and movie or television show special. It would be a great way to continue the franchise and expand the lore. It reminds me of how Star Wars has Rogue One and Solo.
The Prehistoric Animals on Nublar are as follows; Carnivores: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptors, Troodons, Dilophosaurus, Herrasaurus, and Compsognathus Herbivores: Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, and Gallimimus Non-Dinosaurs: Tylosaurus and Pteranodons I am most curious to see what an ecosystem of these animals would be like and see how they ended up as they did prior and after cleanup plus which ones survived the cleanup. There are so many questions to this island of how these animals thrived or died after the park incident. Same can be said for the extinct flora too.
1994 was the year i was born... To have all this going on and to see this makes my imagination run wild with so much at hand! Don't wanna think of the abuse IN-GEN inflicted to the dinosaurs :( Awesome vid! :) Also how do you become a part of Game Wardens and IN-GEN workers?
This could even make for a cool prequel to The Lost World.

For some reason when they talk about the clean up I imagine people with brooms coming into the jungle...

The Prehistoric Animals on Nublar are as follows;
Carnivores:
Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptors, Troodons, Dilophosaurus, Herrasaurus, and Compsognathus
Herbivores:
Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Parasaurolophus, and Gallimimus
Non-Dinosaurs:
Tylosaurus and Pteranodons
I am most curious to see what an ecosystem of these animals would be like and see how they ended up as they did prior and after cleanup plus which ones survived the cleanup. There are so many questions to this island of how these animals thrived or died after the park incident. Same can be said for the extinct flora too.
QUESTION: How was Jurassic World able to be built with all the dinosaurs running around
InGen under Masrani went in and captured the remaining dinosaurs on Nublar, and began contructing JW.
1994 was the year i was born... To have all this going on and to see this makes my imagination run wild with so much at hand! Don't wanna think of the abuse IN-GEN inflicted to the dinosaurs :(
Awesome vid! :) Also how do you become a part of Game Wardens and IN-GEN workers?
