then you have... jurassic world.. oh god... the original trilogy was accurate for it's time being since then, a lot about dinosaurs has changed. but jurassic world? it went ass fucking backwards. for example, in the original, they made stegosaurus's tail higher up, but in jurassic world, they made the tail leveled closer to the ground. in the original, the velociraptor's teeth did not extend past the eye, which is closer to what deinonychus, which the movie raptor is based on, looked like. but in jurassic world, they made the teeth extend past the eye.
I've kept telling my friends Velociraptors are actually small for years! I'm glad it's now easier to tell them by showing your video. This was great! Really want to see more vids with the other movies😎👍 Fun fact: The Dilophosaurus in Crichton’s Novel was 10 Ft tall. Though I don’t know why it was made smaller in the film🤔
They did it in order to avoid confusion with Velociraptor which is ironically way smaller than its JP counterpart just like how the real Dilophosaurus was bigger than its film counterpart.
@@thanujadamithangani7265 they should have made the velociraptors smaller to the size of deinonychus (which the raptors are based on) & make dilophosaurus as big as it's real life counterpart
You've gotta do more of this. I love your videos but as a person who loves the real animals that dinos and other prehistoric creatures were, this is definetely my current favourite of yours!
I had an idea for that. The _Brachiosaurus_ would be replaced with _Apatosaurus_ (which actually COULD rear up), the _Dilophosaurus_ is a baby that Nedry abuses, and its cries attract its parents who then proceed to eat him, and the _Velociraptor_ are _Deinonychus_ . Also, _Stegosaurus_ would be spelled correctly.
As iconic as the T. Rex and Raptors (as well as the other dinosaurs) were in the Jurassic park franchise, I much prefer the scientifically accurate depictions with non-pronated wrists, brighter and more diverse range of color, chubbier physiques and behaviors more akin to how animals are like in real life.
0:59 I have a personal hypothesis on the dilophosaurus, it works as follows: "perhaps" the dilophosaurus puppies had "the umbrella" like the chlamydosaurus to terror the enemies, which over the years was absorbed, replaced by the crests. The "poisonous spit" could have been a "defensive vomiting" as in the chicks of the Northern Fulmar (Fulmarus Glacialis), the Northern chicks Fulmar vomit on the Agressors to remove them. I believe that the "defensive vomiting" of the dilophosaurus had been a sort of "marker" for parents, so the "bully" was "spanked" by adults.
MAN, THIS LOOKS SO COOL!!!!! Please do more videos like this covering each of the Jurassic Park/World movies. Also, can you please do an animated evolution on The Wolf Man?
Something I've always pointed out to people about real life velociraptor's size: just because they're smaller than the movies depict, doesn't mean they're less deadly. Now instead of one in a corridor chasing you, there's probably three.

I’m not 100 percent sure and I could be wrong but…. Is that a Jojo reference?
@@BuIIy_Maguire mayhaps 🌚
I would absolutely love to see more Dino comparisons from the sequels especially spinosaurus
That's my favorite dinosaur
A masterpiece if I may say so! One of the best videos yet!
Worth the years of waiting!! My childhood dream has finally come true.
Always appreciated how the original trilogy tried its best to design its creatures with the most up to date information in its time.
Not really, a lot of the dinosaurs in the og trilogy are very much unlike what scientific consensus though they looked like
@@forodinssake9570 emphasis on “tried”
While they used skeletals of creatures like the Dilophosaurus and Mamenchisaurus, they always had something off about them.
@@mlgodzilla4206 brachiosaurus, velociraptor, even the spinosaurus was a little bulkier than it should’ve been
then you have... jurassic world..
oh god...
the original trilogy was accurate for it's time being
since then, a lot about dinosaurs has changed. but jurassic world? it went ass fucking backwards. for example, in the original, they made stegosaurus's tail higher up, but in jurassic world, they made the tail leveled closer to the ground.
in the original, the velociraptor's teeth did not extend past the eye, which is closer to what deinonychus, which the movie raptor is based on, looked like. but in jurassic world, they made the teeth extend past the eye.
@@OncelerKidsAreCringe It's summed up pretty well in the first part of this video: ruclips.net/video/fz6DJ8ST1wE/видео.html

Great video! I've watched a lot of your videos and this is one of the best. Thanks for producing this kind of content :)
Love it! I’m a huge Jurassic Park fan so this is sick! Make more videos like this!

I don't know how many times I have been here, i like to watch it time to time.. I wishes more episodes like this... Thank you Tell It Animated
This applies to the sequels as well. Our understanding of Spinosaurus changed a lot since JP3 for example.
It’s literally just a monster tadpole lizard bird crocodile thing now
@@BuIIy_Maguire as opposed to the monster theropod lizard bird crocodile thing it was in jp3
Essentially what happens when your only base is it's relatives since the original bones got bombed
Spinosaurus every time a new paper about it comes out
@@dimetrodon2250 there's already a new paper in preprint saying spino wasn't aquatic lol
I've kept telling my friends Velociraptors are actually small for years! I'm glad it's now easier to tell them by showing your video. I also love you've been so updated that some dinos here are based on new findings and also from the Prehistoric Planet. Looking forward to more dino videos!
PS: I'm 100% sure you're working on a Pinhead evolution! Great timing for the new film on Hulu and this Halloween season.
Same they even kept showing me videos pictures of jp. Im a fan of jp but they are small jps version is based off deinonychus
@@CamoAndGiosYT Weirdly enough, the one on JP are more similar to Utahraptors than velociraptors lol.
@Mister EXACTLY I see similarities with them but mostly Utah raptor I see most
@@CamoAndGiosYT Other than height they’re not very similar. Utahraptor was much bulkier and could possibly weigh a tonne.

I absolutely love this! Your art style with the scientifically accurate dinos just looks fantastic

Loved this idea, hope we get to see more stuff like this in the future!
I really hope you continue this series, I'd love to see other dinosaurs from the Jurassic series and see how they compare today.
2:09, there’s just a few problems with the triceratops here
Problem 1: a real triceratops actually wouldn’t have cheek horns, at least, not when fully mature
Problem 2: a fully mature triceratops also wouldn’t have those little triangular horns all over its frill, it would lose them as it got older
Other than that, these are some really good dinosaur models, good job on all of them
Actually the triceratops in the movie was most likely a juvenile and so the accurate version is a juvenile as well!
@@rockettbennett ah that makes sense
I'd love to see the sequels and more along the same lines where possible.

Wow; you did a great job again.
Do you wanna do the same thing with the other JP parts too?
I see you used the Prehistoric Planet designs for the scientifically accurate comparisons!
Prehistoric Planet is the most scientifically accurate take on dinosaurs

This was great! Really want to see more vids with the other movies😎👍
Fun fact: The Dilophosaurus in Crichton’s Novel was 10 Ft tall.
I seriously think this is the most underrated RUclipsr
Imagine a remake of Jurassic Park with today’s thoughts on how dinosaurs look.
@@GaiusIntrepidus *Yes, just a straight film adaptation of the Jurassic Park Novels*
too much to ask for Hollywood
0:59
I have a personal hypothesis on the dilophosaurus, it works as follows: "perhaps" the dilophosaurus puppies had "the umbrella" like the chlamydosaurus to terror the enemies, which over the years was absorbed, replaced by the crests.
No, they didn't. That's not at all how reptile ontogeny works.
This video is so great! Please do the lost world Jurassic park next!

Something I've always pointed out to people about real life velociraptor's size: just because they're smaller than the movies depict, doesn't mean they're less deadly. Now instead of one in a corridor chasing you, there's probably three.
