Exploring maternal health inequalities with the Black Cultural Archives

As part of the London Enterprise module, a group of final year Bioscience students have embarked on a project with the Black Cultural Archives that looks to highlight inequalities in maternal health within the Black community.
Over a number of months, the students will carry out research on archival material at the BCA to produce an display that will be shown at an exhibition at the end of the year.
The BCA, based in Brixton, London, is an organisation that seeks to collect, preserve and celebrate the histories of people of African and Caribbean descent in the UK.
