Great show gentlemen, THX for all your help, although I only use a 325 free slate scanner this video increases understanding of upgrading to a data base unit. Ha,, you' give seniors an excuse to spend our Social Security for great "toys' rather than "medication"! Aloha,, 73

Thanks for the video. I disagree with you Jonathan. I think the Whistler TRX-1 is easier to program than the Uniden SDS 100. I have both and program both mostly with my own Favorite List/Scan List, made up of non Police or Fire or EMS lists. 99% of my lists are gathered from Close Call and FCC. I like to listen to Colleges, Hospital, Malls, Store, Mass Transit, and my Coop Security, to name a few. Many of those do not appear on Radio Reference but do appear on Digital Frequency Search, but not all.. So I can program a new list in about a minute depending on how many frequencies I need to add. For the TRX-1 I just make a new conventional frequency and start filling in the different things asked for by the program. Lastly I assign it to a Scan List. I find that the TRX-1 is more sensitive for listening to NXDN than the SDS 100. Keep up the good work. A fan.
