I GOT MY 125 AT years ago and have used it for many things including at the racetrack, for DXing low band VHF, and jusr listening to air, rail, and Fort Hood Range Op's, etc. Cool, versatile radio!

I love the 125! I live in an area which heavy local, state and federal fire activity on VHF, so this radio is perfect. I also use the Close Call feature quite a bit. I hope Uniden keeps producing this radio for years to come!

I just got a uniden bc125at I love it
I have it and love it. Runs my local PD at all times.
Looks Great , But you never showed how to use it. I programmed a bunch of rail road channels with the software. I have no clue how to start listening to those channels. Or how to use the search. How close do I need to be to the railroad?
I just joined the Fire Fighter Support Team for my small community!!...... I just wanna know how I can help more and so I found this scanner to be the best for my money!!...... but anything you guys can help me with aside from NASCAR or Aircraft stuff....... I would love to know!!.....

I am an amature radio operator, and we alwase use WIDE BAND not narrow, same with GMRS. can you adjust this setting?
I bought yet another BC125AT handheld scanner. I'm ready to program it again. My only issue has been that the battery compartment eventually gives out (won't work). Any fixes you can tell me about? I have at least six different police scanners and this one is my favorite due to nice readout on screen, the volume can't get bumped up or down on accident, it's size is great to throw in my pocket, programming is easy on a Windows computer.
I've programmed 12 channels into bank 1. It scans but there isn't any conversation just some random stopping and beeping. I've reset it and started over but nothing and I've also unlocked the channels. Please help if you have any suggestions. TNX
My reception on the BC125AT is terrible. With my TYT UV380 this was solved with adding a better antenna. Should I be looking for a better antenna? If so, what antenna should look for?
Sorry to hear that about your BC125AT. I’ve had great luck with mine. If your looking for alternative antenna what band do you monitor the most? If it one band you may want to look at a single band antenna. Also it it’s un heard of that 125AT may be more sensitive then another 125AT.
Is this radio ok for police frequencies? I haven’t heard you mention police ?
Have you guys run across interment BC125AT screen flashing or going blank in sub-menu only. I bought it used "open box" absolutely pristine. The scroll still works in sub menu. Just working blind. I wiped reset it. I just updated firmware to 1.6. I would appreciate your ideas. Do you guys repair these scanners if need be?
I can't find my the pdoc in my area the scanner doesn't go to 155???

Does the bearcat BC 125AT pick up P25 phase II ?
This radio displays "All locked" after just about any action I take. I go in and unlock all, exit and press some key, and it says "All locked" again. Ugh.
how do i program my scanner with my computer?

Thanks guy’s for the video…I just picked up the scanner a few days ago, I’m attempting to update the firmware but keep getting the prompt to remove or repair the download file to start it?? I’ve tried a few things like rebooting, taking down my firewall/antivirus, I’ve watched and read the instructions from uniden on how to do it and have followed it pretty closely. I’ve tried it on Windows XP, 10 and 11 and still no luck, called uniden and no help. I’m stuck, any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
That’s is strange. Hard to troubleshoot with out seeing it.
@@TheScannerGuys thanks for responding, not long after messaging you I was able to finally get it running, don’t ask how, I’m not even sure? Lol I just kept trying and it eventually connected. Thanks again
