Games taught me how to correct over-steer well before I had my license. Can def say knowledge I gathered on racing sims saved me from a wreck in the past.
Haha same! A friend of mine was driving in the instructor car and the car slid out, he corrected it and did a wide drift perfectly and looked at the instructor and just said "I play GTA"
Probably not games like need for speed played on a gamepad.. But racing sims like Iracing and Assetto Corsa with a wheel setup etc would help.. I know from experience there:). Knowing how to work a wheel during slides and how to countersteer, you learn that in sims.
Some time ago my car started going sideways while taking a bend on a slightly icey downhill road... to my own surprise, i reacted quite calmly and brought it back in line... not sure i would have been able to do so, if i had never played a racing sim
The same goes for flight sims. People have flown planes (takeoff, basic circuit, landing) without any help or previous experience in a real airplane before. It's amazing how much you can learn from sims these days. Even arcade games like Guitar Hero (and its spin-offs) teach you the basics of actually playing instruments (rhythm/timing, pattern recognition, concepts of chord progressions/scales, etc.)
Hey now, I'm an Autistic racing driver, and the focus that Autistic people have on the task at hand, can sometimes make us the best drivers anywhere. Actually, I use what I've learned from racing, to apply to road driving, and I am making my community's roads safer!
I think Gameranx missed another point, in racing games any person has to be aware of everything they do. For instance, say your going at around 150MP/H, while the other car going the opposite direction goes 150MP/H as well. Your line can determine the factor at which you have to time the brakes and go on the outside or inside the curb. It's a great skill to have since some drivers may go off their own line. And the autism hate train has to stop.
absolutely yes. I have been playing dirt rally non stop this past year. well, on the way to work one morning and two cars in front of me decide to slam on through a 50mph slip road during rush hour. somehow I managed to lock up the brakes, make the conscious decision to pump the pedal to stop the slide, steer around the car in front between two other cars where the gap was barely big enough to fit my car through, and back around the two cars into my own lane to avoid a lorry, at which point I was completely sideways, then I corrected the slide and joined the motorway. lol oh, and there were two brick walls either side of us. I firmly believe getting number one world records in dirt rally prepared me for that shit lol oh and I play dirt and other racing games on a full rig with clutch gearstick etc
Yes is does improve your driving skills... I went sideways going 65 on the highway and brought my jaguar back to normal driving position. closest thing to a crash I've ever been in...

I remember I practised car driving for first time was quite a hard time then I went away for about 6 months to Europe for college. I did not drive for all that time but used the train everyday and about 3omins going and 30m comming I played rally race dirt which my sibling said was one of the most realist free apps on google play and guess what. After 6months when I came back home and took the driving exam after a few driving lessons more and it went significantly better and easier driving then when I started learning. I even quick thinking on my exams two policemen in the back checking my driving escaped when I was turning and a car at first far rudely sped up toward me. I guess that car did not realize the two men in my car were police but they both remain completely quiet. I passed.
Celestiabellebethabelle remember when people became teachers to correct grammar. Now people with shitty jobs feel entitled to check people online for no reason. Hey you Dumass this is not school.
Videogames rock!. First time with a gun in a firing range (glock): I knew exactly how to reload, how to position my body, even how to keep my finger off the trigger and correctly hand over the gun to my dad... He was a bit alarmed....LOL...I miss him :( I'm also a Flight Simulator (FSX) fan. I'm 100% confident I can take off and land a plane without any significant external help.
People have flown airplanes (takeoff AND landing) completely unassisted, and with zero instruction, just based on their experience with flight sims. They are an extremely powerful tool, which is why professional pilots use simulators to supplement their own training.
I am a pilot at ERAU. Flying a plane is easy. All the other things are hard. Radio Comms. Regulations. Emergency response. Flight Sims can't teach that. At least not easily.
I don't think Rocket League really counts much. I guess it helps in the enhancement of reaction times bit, but helping you build an intuitive sense of how cars work? ...no, I wouldn't say so.
Mia Ray I have seen the guy from Game Theorists MatPat attend to a sport with cars playing with a ball in real life, which is a sport! And the only thing that was different from the game in how you play, (other than fly, boost and jump) the field of vision was reduced so much... when you go from 3rd person view to 1st person view ...so many blindspots so little time, you can so easily get disoriented. And I guess that's the problem with GT too.
Racing games taught me how react quickly in a potentially dangerous situation I remember going for drives with my parents because at the time I had my permit getting into a few situations that could have been dangerous and reacting quickly my parents and driving instructors also took note of how well I handled the car before I drove I regularly played forza and NFS
Hi Falcon! A couple of months ago I was driving outside the city on a two-lane road at around 100-110 km/h when a car from the oncoming lane merged into my lane. The driver had a heart attack and I barely avoided a fatal crash by instantly braking and almost going out of the road. Unfortunately the other driver went right into the ditch and didn't make it (he was driving at about 100 km/h too from what I was able to see). I'm thinking now that if I hadn't played a crap ton of racing simulator in the past five to ten years I might be dead now since it was an instinctive split second decision that saved me. Best regards!
SinderTheSnake that's great n me too. but think about it. u r gonna be learning how to drive so u will most likely make mistakes and damage your car. wouldn't want to have to pay several thousand dollars every time u scratched it lol. u know what I mean? all the same dream big
There was a kid in the passenger seat and her grandma was driving, she had a heart attack and the kid somehow managed grab hold on the steering wheel and dodge traffic until the car stopped. When questioned the kid said he learned how to drive of Mario Kart.
If racing games can help you drive better in real life, then that means that Call Of Duty... I'M JOINING THE ARMY MOM! R.I.P Cod Kid. Died within 20 minutes of combat by waiting too long to throw his frag.
You should probably play battlefield or arma instead xD COD is just a run and gun sim that doesn't really teach you anything about strategies i know you can do that in battlefield or arma but it's necessary in arma especially in single player and battlefield it's a lot easier to win a game with strategies
Playing in 1st person will help than in 3rd person. In 3rd person the player have more time to react to environment but in 1st person the player will have less time to react and have to make decision faster. Thus helping in improving reflex faster. But for Driving, driving an actual car or simulator with steering wheel, gears, accelerator and breaks will help more than keyboard or console. But still the biggest challenge in driving will be driving in an uphill road or self starting the car in an inclined road. Thats a thing no simulator can teach u. The entire focus will be in clutch, handbreak and accelerator.
True story: My job sometimes requires me to drive to and from downtown in my city. One day earlier this month on my way back to my workplace, driving a company vehicle, I was almost involved in a bad car accident. I was crossing through a traffic light intersection and some idiot driver decided the traffic light rules didn't apply to them. They drove around another car and crossed directly in front of me. I barely saw them in my peripheral vision and automatically slammed the brakes and pushed the horn like instinct. Had I hit them it would've been a direct t-bone collision. I missed the truck by mere inches! I had two other passengers with me too so a lot was at stake here. They were both impressed how fast I reacted. Heck, I was impressed! With that said, I've been playing video games since I was a kid in the 80's. I've played lots of Need for Speed, Rocket League, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, and other fast-paced games. I have to say that video games has helped me a lot with quick reaction skills. I thank God and my video game experience for saving me from that possible accident.
The beach is rather relaxing. Compared to the coffee shops, noisy neighborhood, and dull library. Why not a soothing tropical beach under the blue sky.
...because reading a book under a tree, at a park, is too cliched. Besides, Why wouldn't ready a book, in a beach? It's one of the most serene places. As to a park.
Well, apparently a kid and his grandmother were in a car, and the grandmother, idk what happened to her but somehow didn't respond, so the kid took over and avoided an accident...he credited Mario Kart XD
short answer, yes thay do longer answer, I am driver in real life and before driving in real life I liked to play a lot of racing games, but real ones that simulate reality arcade does nothing, and I fell that games helped my a lot, and racing games learned my a lot of littles things too, and a lot of diffirent things too, depends what game you are playing, but you there is bassicly zero games that teach you, traffic rules.
I agree with this. Racing games do help give an idea with physics and car behavior. Was on a wet road once, in high speed. I fish-tailed after avoiding a dog, but managed to make the corrections almost naturally. I have never fish-tailed before, yet correcting it felt so natural cuz I've done it in Rally games all the time. Video games probably saved me from a horrible accident. Thats my 2 cent is all.
I do a whole lot of drifting in Assetto Corsa, and that has actually helped me a bunch with drifting my Silvia in real life. It helped me understand how steering and throttle inputs will effect the car, which helped out when I first decided to give it a crack in my S14. Lost control of a few slides but regained it before spinning, haven't crashed or died yet so I think I'm doing alright.
in fact, yes. video games can litterally set the groundstone to a racing carreer in irl if youre good at them. in fact, the first time i raced was today on a gokarting track, and as a newcomer, i immediantly demolished all the others, newcomer or not
Dominic Bruce The legal age for buying alcohol in the UK is 18 and has been for a very long time, however many shops and pubs now won't serve you alcohol unless you look over 21/25 (depending on the outlet) and have id to prove it. My wife and I are both in our 30s and have been for a while and even she's been refused alcohol, by someone she went to school with....
It used to be 18 in america but they changed it to 21 in the 80's because it was supposed to "save lives" even though it made no impact because a lot of people had to be grandfathered in anyway
Yes they do, driving for 7 years now and I still have not been in an accident. My mindset when I drive is as if every other driver is my competitor. I'm aware of every vehicle around me near and far. Also, I drive a lot and usually at the speed limit or slightly above. Main thing for anyone... just be cautious at intersections, never try to be hero and pull some hectic shit unless u really have to. This is all thanks to playing racing games, gta etc
First time I actually drove a car it was pretty familiar to me. Seen the fact I don't have any other driving experience games must have helped me a lot with it.
I've completely learned how to drive from racing games. The only thing I had to get accustomed to was the sensitivity of the accelerator and brakes across different types of vehicles xD
Racing simulators such as NR2003, rFactor, Asett Corsa and many more really helped me learning how to drive manual and being more aware of my surroundings. Actually playing Forza 6 online really helps with being aware of your surroundings since you're always on the edge, hoping no one plows into you in the first turn lmao
I've read the whole GT3's manual back in the day, it was full of driving tips explaining how to handle tire friction and breaking. That info is good to know if some day I'm in a situation where I have to drive in, say, wet pavement and I got to control the car or I'll crash. I'm pretty confident your instincts trained by playing will help you react faster and appropriately.
I'm 15. Well, i only played Racedriver GRID and DiRT 3 from Codemasters. That games help me a little bit for driving. When rallying you should watchout for the road quickly, in real world I easily check the corner and if there's no car, i'll keep going. And also when turning and braking. Idk why I just can feel it when to brakes, when to turn, and when to throttle. My mom who is always watching me when driving said that i'm a little bit aggressive when driving. Well, maybe that's the negative effect of learning how to drive from racing games xD
Dont u hate when your parents or gurdians tell u dont learn anything if u just use the internet and games games can improve memory and internet can improve knowledge more than in school
Playing f1 games on max difficulty has made my reaction time superhuman! I have an electric longboard that can cruise around 29mph. I was going down a busy street one night and I had to be somewhere. I've skated for 11 + years and like I said played f1 games. So I do things in traffic that most people wouldn't. Anyways, I was going down this street and it was lined with parked cars. I was going at around max speed with cars on my left that I had to keep an eye on and a lined of parked cars right next to me. I try to stay as close as possible to the parked cars without taking out people mirrors to give people room. Well This particular night, someone in a parked car decided to open their door. I was at there trunk about 6 inches away from the car when the door opened, going like 29mph. In what was a fraction of a millisecond I had to look over my left shoulder to check to see if a car was next to me. Which thankfully I had just enough room to clear the car driving down the road next to me, because I would've had to go through the door. I turned with such force and quickness to wrap around the door it felt like I pulled gs lol. My brain couldn't process what had happened all of a sudden I was right next to the parked cars again cruising down the road with the whole thng behind me. I still to this day wonder what the car driving next to me thought. I would've been convinced I just seen Spiderman if someone pulled that move infront of me. And for me it was just a flash
Stanley Pines: If the cops were not around, then my grandnephew and grandniece, when they have their permits, can learn driving without me, nor Soos, by my side.
But yeah... i recently build an entire setup with a chair, steering wheel, shifter, pedals (logitech g27) and play realistic racing sims so it's More of.a sim than a game but... i play GTA V with my steering wheel as well but GTAV lacks the physics for a real racing expirience, basically it's too easy
I learned driving from NFS: Carbon myself, and despite the...less than ideal nature of its realism, it still helped tremendously. Though, in all honesty, reading the racing tips at the back of my Gran Turismo 3 game manual was what helped the most.
Soleimsen I know it's unrealistic, but it did help a lot. Of course it won't teach me how a car handles realistically, but I was smart enough to know that. What it _did_ teach me is an intuitive sense of how cars handle despite the lack of realism, and that was something I could tell helped. It helped me not only transfer that knowledge into more realistic games, but also for just driving in general. My mom would often ask me to grab the wheel while I rode passenger so she could blow her nose or adjust her makeup or the like, and every time I did that, I used the sense of spacial awareness that NFS Carbon helped teach me to know how to keep the car centered and steady, even though I was barely 13 or so at the time.
i never played with a steering wheel but i learned a lot from games like gt4, forza horizon 1, nfs prostreet and dirt 3. also i got a lot from just reading stuff online. like front-rear weight balance, trail braking, heel-and-toe, engine breaking, scandinavian flick. there was a time when my father calibrated the front-right tire with way more pressure than the left one, because it was leaking (despite me saying it was a bad idea). then when i was exiting the freeway on a downhill and breaking at the same time, the car started sliding a bit and i got lots of understeering, which i clearly wasnt getting when cornering to the left before that. but i knew exactly what happennig and why. it scared the shit out of me but i managed to get away safe.
The answer is no But still play racing is the way i show my ride look like if i have money in real life Also it show my personality while you drive it Like you a good driver or badass or basically just a noob go around
I'm a great fan of Racing games . i never drove a car before , i wanted to get a Driver license so i went to a Driver school once i started driving , my Driving teacher asked me did i ever drive a car before ? i told him no .. He still don't believe me LOL
I made my driver license last year. To be honest, without the knowledge I had from games it wouldve been three times harder. I don't know if they improve them, but they help you build them! Now on to watching the video!
normally alcohol makes me a better driver, but when i do everyone esle seems to drive worse, people waving and shouting at me and im like "bitch get out from under my car"
I do sim race and all video game . And I do track day .Please cut the bullshit, nothing compare To real life, to school , to the ability to handle stress and etc Stop using one example to justify playing game. Just for fun, not beneficial or educational.
Im 13 so ive never driven but I play some racing games that aren't stupidly realistic but I play forza horizon 3 a lot now but I have no real desire to start driving anytime soon but I might, who knows, if I do get to drive any car I want then it would be a Lamborghini aventador but never gonna happen probably
I hate when people say video games are a useless thing to do. I learned english, thanks to video games. I learned about cars, guns, world history, religions, sports, fighting styles and the list goes on. It's a hobby and so are books, tv shows, movies and board games, aren't those also a waste of time depending on one's choice? 🤔
I do think it does. It teaches you a few things about handling. When i made my license, my teacher was quite impressed by how natural it was for me to just esse off of the accelerator to do a tighter turn for example. He said thats pretty advanced for a beginner...
When I drove my dads car for the first time, he asked me "You just starts learning driving, how is your handling so good", i replied hhmmm GTA, ...!!!!
Yes before driving a real car i used to play a ferrari game in coin-ops with real manual gearbox and clutch .It was more than helpful to prepare for the real thing
I can honestly say that I feel like over the years playing games my reflexes have carried over to my driving skills. I have avoided many accidents because of my fast decision making under bad circumstances. The most relevant story I could say was a guy cutting me off coming out of a parking lot (while it was raining!) and I swerved around him to the shoulder and was able to literally nearly miss a front end collision. 🙌🏾
Great video! Playing racing games actually helped me so many times avoiding really big crashes! One against a turning truck and other one at night, while raining. I could say they actually help you A LOT.
Maybe helped teach me what not to do. But if this were true, I've been playing Depth, does that mean I'm gonna be a bad ass shark when science gets us there?
Ive been playing Call of Duty and Battlefield games for a while, so i think im ready to take on ISIS single-handedly.

Me AND my older brother actually learned how to drive from playing gran turismo.
Well damn. I made this comment before watching the video and just realized the video was kind of based off of what I said.
Good, and honestly I did learn like that too, too bad I can't still drive a car, but a buggy will do lol
i learned how to drive in manual from gran turismo i have the steering wheel it helped me so much !!
Sergio González Torres Haha well that's all good because once you do start driving a car, you'll get it quicker than normal.
BlameTheController Man I still haven't tried driving manual yet but I've heard practicing on a simulator helps! That's awesome.
Lame. I learned how to drive a train with GTA San Andreas
You forgot to mention aero planes

FiNiTe Forza Motorsport and the Horizon series....
I also brake properly unlike 90% of motorists

Nah....
I'm sure they actually help with car control, simcade games only improve reflexes no doubt
they absolutely are. iracing is good too if you got the money.
Agree. With Assetto Corsa you can understand how weight transfer works for example.

Yes, I firmly believe that experiencing something in a well made video game can give you an edge when performing that activity in real life. Driving is one of them.
1# Life rules suck. 2# Does Rocket League count as a driving game?
what?
I don't think Rocket League really counts much. I guess it helps in the enhancement of reaction times bit, but helping you build an intuitive sense of how cars work?
...no, I wouldn't say so.
It only counts if you have a few rockets and a lot of duct tape.
Mia Ray
I have seen the guy from Game Theorists MatPat attend to a sport with cars playing with a ball in real life, which is a sport! And the only thing that was different from the game in how you play, (other than fly, boost and jump) the field of vision was reduced so much... when you go from 3rd person view to 1st person view ...so many blindspots so little time, you can so easily get disoriented. And I guess that's the problem with GT too.
No
Racing games taught me how react quickly in a potentially dangerous situation I remember going for drives with my parents because at the time I had my permit getting into a few situations that could have been dangerous and reacting quickly my parents and driving instructors also took note of how well I handled the car before I drove I regularly played forza and NFS
Anyone into JDM here?
AndyMcFlyJr hell yeah rx-7's all the way!
Johnnyboy I love the rx7 but my dream is a GTR R32
AndyMcFlyJr oh yeah thats an amazing car aswell allthough i prefer the r33.
AndyMcFlyJr Ayyy me boi
Dream of an rx7 but too damn expensive. So s15, s13 or bugeye it is :)
I can't drive yet. BUT. I want my first car to be a Lamborghini. 😐
Good luck!
SinderTheSnake that's great n me too. but think about it. u r gonna be learning how to drive so u will most likely make mistakes and damage your car. wouldn't want to have to pay several thousand dollars every time u scratched it lol. u know what I mean? all the same dream big
samebut instead, Toyota Trueno Hachi Roku from initial D ...
ITS slow as hell but the nostalgia!
SinderTheSnake trust me, you don't want a Lamborghini as a first car. They are way harder to drive than the avarage car
Soleimsen actually that's false the new models such as the huracan are actually extremely easy to drive

Plot twist he got a heart attack from too much caffeine in Mountain Dew
Mario kart really did it for me! Everytime I see someone driving in front of me I always manage to take them down!
MnM
gotta use the red shell!
Crazy Taxi taught me how to drive
and GTA
I've played racing games since I was like 6 and Its the only thing that's tought me to drive, though Im just 14
DRIFTP4NDA 42 then you haven't learned to drive...
Don't lie. You can't drive...
A full driving simulator would teach you how to drive and shift gears in real life tough
I love racing games and I passed my drivers test first try in a blizzard.
I love racing, and I love video games, and I love gameranx

1:21 who the fuck reads a book in the beach?
SWATTY have you been to a beach. Like 60-70% atleast usually reads a book or a magazine
why wouldn't you? after 2-3 hours swimming in the sea reading a book in the beach can be pretty relaxing
The beach is rather relaxing. Compared to the coffee shops, noisy neighborhood, and dull library. Why not a soothing tropical beach under the blue sky.
everybody who actually lives 10minutes away from the beach and is not a fucking tourist
...because reading a book under a tree, at a park, is too cliched.
Besides, Why wouldn't ready a book, in a beach? It's one of the most serene places.
As to a park.
70% of people watching this aren't even old enough to drive

Gta improved my hood skills.
Nope, I played Mario Kart and found out very quickly that people don't like it when you throw turtles at them.
Please keep the likes even on this comment.
Gta V improved my winter driving skills.
Weltall Do u know that the snow in gta online doesn't give u an effect but forza horizon 3 with blizzard mountain give u an effect
I mean Mario Cart won't change shit but something like a simulator can definitely help you with understanding the car and how it will react 👍🏻
Well, apparently a kid and his grandmother were in a car, and the grandmother, idk what happened to her but somehow didn't respond, so the kid took over and avoided an accident...he credited Mario Kart XD
I heard about that story. I was really amazed!
i just hate how in mario kart your car becomes extreeeeemely slow when going off track, like if the grass/sand was made of glue.
it better, ive been playing a lot of drive club
ever play in norway, at night, with max rain. that shit is scary as fuck
ionic0 nah man max snow in cockpit view...because that's how I play
thats what i mean
Well driveclub is still an arcade game
whats your definition of "arcade" mine would be something like daytona usa.
I would say its a game where the physics engine isnt very realistic.
Gta SA taught me how to driveby and drive thru
short answer, yes thay do
longer answer, I am driver in real life and before driving in real life I liked to play a lot of racing games, but real ones that simulate reality arcade does nothing, and I fell that games helped my a lot, and racing games learned my a lot of littles things too, and a lot of diffirent things too, depends what game you are playing, but you there is bassicly zero games that teach you, traffic rules.
Thats my 2 cent is all.
i want to drive a nice gtr r32 or even a 05 or 04 subi but I'll just settle or a AE 86 😎
Armando Via u prolly gonna end up with an 05 or older civic anyway
justAguyDs god no i have 3 jods (mcds walmart and im a paperboy) just so i dont buy a shity rice civic

3:45 "...an actual simulation..." *Runs over palm tree like its Styrofoam.
I'm hoping none of the people I end up playing against in Horizon 3 drive like they do in the game, most don't have any idea what the brakes are.
Yes same when i hop on an online adventure race, they all collide in a wall no matter how smooth the corner is
That is why you wait for them all to crash by braking then pass them up
+Shaun Wheldon they're wall magnets
The guiding line in Forza games helped me grasp the timing of braking before a turn, and accelerating out of one
I hated the lines as a kid,I appreciate them now as a 24 year old
I do a whole lot of drifting in Assetto Corsa, and that has actually helped me a bunch with drifting my Silvia in real life.
It helped me understand how steering and throttle inputs will effect the car, which helped out when I first decided to give it a crack in my S14.
Lost control of a few slides but regained it before spinning, haven't crashed or died yet so I think I'm doing alright.
if shooter games can train to kill, racing games can train to drive
Now if only games could improve my sex life :(
im 13 and i do sim racing. I always warm up before going go karting and it does really help warming up in games with a wheel
it isnt cringe at all... it does really improve my times. Im also trying to recreate tracks i drive IRL on Rfactor (1 of the sim racing games i use).
I see you do Karting, you aiming for nationals?
no, simply dont have the money to practice and race. (i have 3$)
in fact, yes. video games can litterally set the groundstone to a racing carreer in irl if youre good at them. in fact, the first time i raced was today on a gokarting track, and as a newcomer, i immediantly demolished all the others, newcomer or not
My wife racing game skills improved when she started driving.
Should have convinced her sooner to get a driving license.
Why do Americans drive at 16 but drink at 21? In uk it is 17 and 17. I've been drinking at parties since 14, what time do Americans start drinking?
While the legal age is 21 most Americans start drinking at around age 14 also. Its really not that hard to get access to alcohol even at a young age.
Your brain is still rapidly developing before you're 21, drinking and doing other drugs can fuck you up real bad before you're an adult.
Raj Ghuman cool
Euro Truck Simulator helped me a little.
Grand turismo is one of my favorite games ever. I have 5 and 6, and can't wait for grand turismo sport to come out this year
Racing simulators such as NR2003, rFactor, Asett Corsa and many more really helped me learning how to drive manual and being more aware of my surroundings.
NASCAR drivers use driving simulators, basically the same thing.
I actually started driving last week and it came naturally because I've played racing games since age 7
The only vehicle i want to drive, is General Grievous's circle car XD
Oh I remember that, In Revenge of the Sith where Daddy Kenobi fight his prince grievous right???with all lightsabers and shit............
They do... atleast de-ends on the realism (like assetto corsa) and if you're using a good steering wheel like me
But yeah... i recently build an entire setup with a chair, steering wheel, shifter, pedals (logitech g27) and play realistic racing sims so it's More of.a sim than a game but... i play GTA V with my steering wheel as well but GTAV lacks the physics for a real racing expirience, basically it's too easy
I learned driving from NFS: Carbon myself, and despite the...less than ideal nature of its realism, it still helped tremendously. Though, in all honesty, reading the racing tips at the back of my Gran Turismo 3 game manual was what helped the most.
Mia Ray NFS Carbon is so unrealistic in every aspect. You can't learn anything from it really
It was that moment Gameranx knew they fuck up.
because?
Max200012 ehhh why do I even try to explain.
golden chorizo you didn't even explain
Max200012 there's no need too, your clearly missing a chromosome.
golden chorizo kk
The answer is no
But still play racing is the way i show my ride look like if i have money in real life
Also it show my personality while you drive it
Like you a good driver or badass or basically just a noob go around
I'm a great fan of Racing games . i never drove a car before , i wanted to get a Driver license so i went to a Driver school
once i started driving , my Driving teacher asked me did i ever drive a car before ? i told him no .. He still don't believe me LOL
I made my driver license last year. To be honest, without the knowledge I had from games it wouldve been three times harder.
I don't know if they improve them, but they help you build them!
Now on to watching the video!
"Nee-san" It's Nissan.
Moromillas Radec no it's a N-i-SSOn
With an "eye" sound? No....
normally alcohol makes me a better driver, but when i do everyone esle seems to drive worse, people waving and shouting at me and im like "bitch get out from under my car"
What about driving in GTA? That can't be any good for your driving skills...
I'm 14 and my craziness for the need for speed arcade racing game franchise helps me
ride a bike on the streets😂
yeh they do help..it helped me because not trying to brag but I'm great at racing games and driving in real life
Professional racing drivers do simulations on computers. So.... YES.
Nice
in the thumbnail the van in the backround has "fuck cops" writen on it lol
Forza motorsport taught me well
No... no it doesn't. Maybe GranTurismo
Holy shit I called it
Great video! Playing racing games actually helped me so many times avoiding really big crashes! One against a turning truck and other one at night, while raining. I could say they actually help you A LOT.
Real life moment: I was driving in town and suddenly I had the feeling I was in Carmageddon. Needles to say, but the results were quite bloody
Maybe helped teach me what not to do. But if this were true, I've been playing Depth, does that mean I'm gonna be a bad ass shark when science gets us there?
You will know what is better vs. a Shark.
Oh.. well fuck that, if I can't be a shark then what am I even training for!?
gameranx how about that arcade machine like BattleGear 2 and Over Rev they like real life driving.
