Hey beautiful people, my life was very overwhelming for the last 7 days! 😂 I actually followed a few more guidelines than I showed here, including ones for eye health and skincare, but the video felt a little overwhelming with everything in so I included only the major ones (: all my love & hope you enjoy! Xxx

Isn't that just being logical? Perfectionism is something we should all strive for even though it's not attainable (yet), so yeah. Keep living a little healthier each day and you'll be fine, probably.
OMMGG girl i was shocked at those weighted pistol squats those are really difficult so props to you! your strength is seriously my motivation to work harder and push myself! so happy i found your channel girl:)
the NHS guidelines are hard to hit for even people like you who are switched on aobut heath, imagine how hard it is for an uneducated individual who works full time, something i;ve come to release as a medical student seeing patients x
The 30g sugar is so unrealistic in today's age. I don't even put sugar in anything or eat anything sweet/with added sugar but on those days when I am making something for my family. I have to put quite a bit of sugar to make it a little bit sweet. 30g is about 3 to 4 tbsp I think. And for children the limit is 19g. I don't understand what chocolates could kids eat and remain under that limit.
@@zainabtanweer2910 it’s not unrealistic-it just requires a change of habits and mindset around sugar. Children should NOT eat chocolate daily. The guidelines are for everyday, not holidays or special occasions; chocolate chip pancakes for Sunday morning breakfast are appropriate, having sugary fruit juice with breakfast and a piece of milk chocolate in the evening 4 days a week is not. Grilled nectarines with a little unsweetened whipped cream is a good example of a treat that’s easy to consume multiple times throughout the week without exceeding the sugar intake guidelines.
That breakfast you made with the avocados and eggs looks amazing. General health guidelines should state principles that accommodate a variety of contexts rather than specific fixed numbers that don't even apply to most individuals.
@@Danuxsy lol I watched this video 3 years ago but from what I remember... Yes, I've always believed that certain habits are universally healthy, but fixed numbers often do nothing to help. Rather, consistent models and understanding of context does. For example, when losing weight, it's as simple as burning more calories than what you eat. The number that someone burns, or the number that someone eats, can each individually vary and that's okay - those are the numbers that are stupid to make "fixed" and what I remember my critique of these guidelines being. A track athlete who trains 8 hours a day will need to eat more than someone who jogged for 20 minutes that day, all other things equal.
This is a really interesting idea. Not sure what others think, but given the variability between individuals and that the general recommendations are made for the "average" person, I have always assumed that those who are health conscious, and very fit, may actually be made worse off by sticking to national guidelines. For instance, many national guidelines really seem to over-stress cardio and under-stress resistance training. :)
xtraOrdinary Athletes I agree, this is telling people who have zero health inclinations and bumming out the ones making an effort. The protein thing is messed up. There are other calculators which will say to eat 140g on a 1800 calorie diet, but 100 is minimum for people who exercise. Cardio isn’t long term exercise. It’s about getting the heart rate up often enough, but not 3 hours and over weights- no way!
While I see both of your points and have participated in both worlds... you also forget that the “cardio isn’t long term exercise” is not applicable to career-/hobby-enthusiastic- marathon and ultramarathon runners.
BloodOrangeCupcake That’s different if you’re competing! I mean for the average person. A lot of people run wrong, if I did a marathon I would injure myself as I have a collapsed foot and each step is a jolt through my knees and spine. Someone extraordinary at it is a whole other thing. Cardio in general just is overusing the body for short term energy loss which is pointless for many. Doesn’t help with long term strength or weight loss and is done for its own sake.
For me cardio is super important because I still play basketball a lot. Maybe when I am in my forties and don't play sports anymore I will start doing more resistance training. Until then, I have to do a lot of cardio otherwise I will start losing in basketball. When I started doing almost all cardio and little to no weight training I started winning more than I ever did before. It's weird because almost all fitness experts push the idea of resistance training as super important but for basketball players (and probably soccer players as well) cardio is just way more important to success.
I don't know how you got on my recommended page, but I'm glad you did! I've never felt comfortable watching fitness or nutrition videos because they always have underlying issues or stigmas with eating disorders as being the key or promoting starvation, but I genuinely enjoy watching your videos and they are actually educational! Hey Natacha! I know that your focus is more on functional training, building athleticism, and developing skills, but could you make some videos on hypertrophy workouts? I would be great to see how you trained for hypertrophy before you got into the style of training you enjoy now. Thanks!
Eurgh, can you just make a new video everyday please? I've binge watched all of your videos for the past two weeks, and I think you're amazing! Having been afraid of weights in the past, i'm now doing weight training and loving it because of you! THANK YOU! xxx
Loved the video! You had me laughing a couple of times. I particularly love how you worked bubble tea and Lindt chocolate into your macros for the day. :) Remember for exercise it's 150 minutes of moderate cardio (for most people that a brisk walk), and about 75 of intense cardio (so just over an hour). Pretty sure what you do would qualify as intense cardio - so I'm sure you're nailing it! Also come visit more of the U.S.!
The standing during work is actually great. At school we have electrical desks which you can rise, which really helps if you have to spend 8-10 h in front of computer everyday. With those you can then stand, wave your legs and work at the same time!
This video is really interesting. I feel like you are one of the most reliable people on you tube. Thank for choosing to publish this types of contents. Please do more this type of videos!!
the 150 minutes cardio (at least in the netherlands) also contains walking to the grocery store, doing chores, that kind of thing. Here there's a guide to be active for at least 45 to 60 minutes a day
I think you lived the perfect healthy life stile even before xD Like, you are soooooo inspiring!! You drop the best workout, help me with my ED and now I my goal is to live healthy and that means being happy, eating what my body needs and working out like I want :D thank you
The map idea is so freaking adorable. I actually did this for my boyf when I thought he would be going into trucking, but we turned it into a vacay sort of thing (in our heads bc it’s still in the packaging 🥴🥴). You definitely have us beat in terms of places we’ve visited LOL!
There are actually 2 types of fish- the fish that drink water and the fish that don't need to. Generally it depends on their osmoregulation process and how they deal with access/ lack of ions ;)) but yeah, most of the sea water fish for example drink water like crazy bc they'd die from the lack of water(too much salt in the water) so this saying is kinda accurate
Ok so I just found your channel recently and have binge-watched your videos for like 3 days straight lmao. Seriously, you're doing such a great job! Also there aren't many people who have travelled to Slovenia (I'm Slovenian) and I was really surprised to see that you've been here, that's awesome!
I'm the total opposite, I always have to wear socks when I sleep. I don't know when I started doing it but to this day if I don't have my socks on I just cannot sleep even if its a 100 degrees. Anyone else like this?
Hi Natacha! I've done intermittent fasting for 62 days and actually gained 4 Kg! I didn't eat more or less, nor did I eat "more" unhealthy. Have you ever heard of this happening? I was not doing it to lose weight but rather to manage my allergies and food intolerances. Thank you in advance! Lots of love from Portugal
i've heard it's best to brush your teeth before you eat in the morning because if you eat first you're then brushing the acidity of the food into your teeth, which is not good for them [unless you wait 30 minutes after eating to brush]. and there isn't a huge difference between flossing before or after brushing your teeth, but i like to floss first because then the toothpaste can reach deeper into the gaps between teeth without competing with food particles to reach everywhere. at the end of the day though, do whatever you have time for. some people have to brush after eating and that's fine. doing this stuff not ideally is better than skipping them all together
Who walks for four hours a day 😂 Also super jealous of you being able to do a full pistol squat. I wanna get there ❤️ ALSO ALSO... I was indulging in an Easter lindt bunny 👍
My sister in law works in a casino and she walks all day long. My husband works for a cable company and he walks most of the day and has to climb ladders. Most people do sit the majority of the time though, especially with an office job.
Teacher here. I only sit briefly to eat lunch. So standing 4 hours is definitely being accomplished. However, once I get home, unless I am working out, you'd better believe I'm sitting/laying down! Also just a side note to something else. I totally can't sleep with socks on either. Even when I try in the winter, I always end up taking them off!
You looked really happy making this video, it was a bit different pace than your others but your attitude and engagement while filming made it one of the most enjoyable videos to watch for me. :)
Can definitely confirm that Australians take their coffee very seriously - particularly in Melbourne. Over here, its arguably an artform, and is super difficult to even get a job as a barista unless you have years of experience
Living the perfect healthy lifestyle isn't very easy for most of us to do, but attempting to make your life healthier step by step is one of the most important things to do in order to lead a healthy life.

Holy shit! Exactly what I needed--the Natacha energy is legit the best drug ❤️
ahh thank you so much Jasmin 🙏 hope you end this video with a smile ❤️❤️❤️
Your videos are always SO INTERESTING! Having the facts behind everything is just great. Thank you for being a teacher. Your content is TOO GOOD.
I recommend the summer palace in Russia, its honestly so breathtaking. Moscow-> st Petersburg night train also a great experience.
This video is really interesting. I feel like you are one of the most reliable people on you tube. Thank for choosing to publish this types of contents. Please do more this type of videos!!
Mario pretending to walk to the front door to get the bubble tea delivery was HILARIOUS!!
Damn when she did that move at 8:11 all I could think was "this woman is strong as fuckkkkk". I would have collapsed lol
Ugh loooove your shirt at the beginning of the video. Also I love it when you vlog.
thank you Karla ❤️ the white lace one at the beginning? I bought it from saboskirt - they have the cutest stuff!! xxx
the 150 minutes cardio (at least in the netherlands) also contains walking to the grocery store, doing chores, that kind of thing. Here there's a guide to be active for at least 45 to 60 minutes a day
Omg The OA is sooooo good. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with it too and just want season 3 to come much sooner than it took season 2 to come out 😭
Sadly the show was cancelled after the second season :(
I love how her videos are getting longer and longer and the editing is perfect every single time oml
This is art
I think you lived the perfect healthy life stile even before xD
Like, you are soooooo inspiring!!
Do come to Canada, especially this time of year, the weather is nice, and everything is just starting to grow in beautifully!
You’re videos are so creative and positive and I love watching them!!❤️❤️
Can’t relate: 8:50 just finished watching the badass weightlifting
Can relate: struggling to get a push pin in a door 😂
"Mario drinks like a fish"
But Does fish drink anyways?
haha 😂 it's true, I don't know where that saying comes from! xx
@@natachaoceane O MAI GAWD I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU REPLIED I WAS JUST BEING RANDOM I LOVE YOU SO MUCH😭❤️❤️❤️
There are actually 2 types of fish- the fish that drink water and the fish that don't need to. Generally it depends on their osmoregulation process and how they deal with access/ lack of ions ;)) but yeah, most of the sea water fish for example drink water like crazy bc they'd die from the lack of water(too much salt in the water) so this saying is kinda accurate
@@natachaoceane baeee is he Italian?

This was a brilliant concept for a video, working in the NHS I loved this. Really informative for people ♥️
bro the OA so good its such a sleeper pick i love it sm i was not expecting that
I get you re protein however the NHS idea of strength training is carrying some grocery shopping bags home from Tesco ;)
Yeah same lmao whats wrong with us?😅
Sameee
@jackie i have that too. Never been to Africa yet though...
Its been said that you fall asleep sooner with warm feet....
Yes. Same here!
I heard you guys mention the O.A. and I had to pause for a hot minute. I’m shocked! I’m OBSESSED with the O.A.!
omg my boss got rid of all the chairs at our work and got the like "standing" stools, i hate it lol
I freaking love the banter between you and Mario 😂❤️
Not only did this video make me crack up laughing but it was also super informative. As always, I'm obsessed with your vids :)
You are so funny, this video really cheered me up, especially when you crunched the Lindt bunny and switched the “sexy” mode on 😁
i've heard it's best to brush your teeth before you eat in the morning because if you eat first you're then brushing the acidity of the food into your teeth, which is not good for them [unless you wait 30 minutes after eating to brush]. and there isn't a huge difference between flossing before or after brushing your teeth, but i like to floss first because then the toothpaste can reach deeper into the gaps between teeth without competing with food particles to reach everywhere. at the end of the day though, do whatever you have time for. some people have to brush after eating and that's fine. doing this stuff not ideally is better than skipping them all together
Woahhh this seems like such a cool experiment! Can’t wait to watch it now!
Videos that literally no one else makes! Ugh you get me so excited
Who walks for four hours a day 😂
Also super jealous of you being able to do a full pistol squat. I wanna get there ❤️
ALSO ALSO... I was indulging in an Easter lindt bunny 👍
I need to know, unless you hike to work/school?!
My sister in law works in a casino and she walks all day long. My husband works for a cable company and he walks most of the day and has to climb ladders. Most people do sit the majority of the time though, especially with an office job.
As a waitress I walk for probably 6 hours straight, five days a week. I don't feel healthier for it though lol
I’m a nurse and I do about 17000 steps in an 8 hour shift which is great because it evens out my chocolate consumption hahaha
You looked really happy making this video, it was a bit different pace than your others but your attitude and engagement while filming made it one of the most enjoyable videos to watch for me. :)
This video was cool and entretaining, keep doing it what you're doing !! xoxo
thank you so much Fatima!! I will do, you have no idea how much your support means 🙏❤️xxxxx
Can definitely confirm that Australians take their coffee very seriously - particularly in Melbourne. Over here, its arguably an artform, and is super difficult to even get a job as a barista unless you have years of experience
Loved this video!! xx I'm Australian and when Mario said "Costa Ricaaaa" he literally sounded like he had an Aussie accent ahahaha
Living the perfect healthy lifestyle isn't very easy for most of us to do, but attempting to make your life healthier step by step is one of the most important things to do in order to lead a healthy life.
I'm from South Africa. Such a beautiful and unique country, definitely worth a visit ❤️
It’s crazy to see how far Natacha’s channel has grew. Proud is not even the word 🤩
ahh you're too sweet Lucy thank you so much 🙏 well you're part of it so I didn't do it alone!! xxx
I never knew you went to Slovenia 😭💕 I feel so loved right know 😂
Love this! Thank you for bringing up so many different areas of health and for being so real with us
I find sleeping with socks on disturbing, too! 🤣 Much love to you as always. ❤️❤️
Oh amazing! I'm from South Africa! 😁✨️ so it was cool to see you want to travel here sometime 🍀
I love all your videos. I'm so happy you and Mario are just always yourselves. It makes me so happy! ❤
Is your kitchen light flashing?? Whaaa??
And are you going to say anything about your new hair?? So pretty!
You only spread every spread things you know to be fact, and positivity. New favorite RUclipsr for sure 🤗
9:20 Please consider reducing your use of straws and single use plastics in general! Remember it afects our oceans! ❗️🙏🧠
Oh we’ve stopped big time, we have these really cute metal ones now and we swap out the vast majority of the time ♥️
Stops using straws to save the ocean
Increases fish consumption 🙄
Isabelle Wilson Why do you think so?
Ixchel Luna she says it in the video. Eating any amount of fish and trying to save the ocean would be hypocritical anyways.
Isabelle Wilson Oh I see, I think you should’ve commented “Consider reducing your fish consumption too”
I’m doing it, I’m trying to go vegan!:)
I've gotten to the point now where I actually get excited when i get to use the gym for PE and wow it feels good
OMG! You do a video on rock climbing or bouldering! Would be cool to see you try it
I love your video's so much! Best channel out there! Informative, funny, interesting and motivating. Thank you Natacha, you are a beautiful person. ❤
if you loved the Grand Canyon you should do the National Parks in Utah since ya scratched it off :) you can fly into Las Vegas to start so flights can be pretty cheap! I did it this past spring and it was gorgeous
It's such a surprise to hear that you want to visit St. Petersburg as it's the place where I live! You'll be very welcome here. And I'll be glad to show you around this marvellous city!
