@@Unforgiving_Eye i find it funny that Amos Bow works well with her in game and aesthetically looks good on her, but the weapon's origin (Monstadt) and Ganyu's hometown (Liyue) were completely Different.

In the vid ,pyro was inflicted on geovishap ,which kazuha swirled
Pyro has the highest priority for swirling with kazuha's kit
Iirc the elemental priority for swirl: pyro>hydro>electro>cryo
@@jee098 yeah, though I believe that is kazuha specific, I don't believe my venti or sucrose do that, they just swirl whatever is get hits first.
@@lennoxshepherd3905 that's why Kazuha is broken on another level. His swirling is different. If I'm right then he's probably the only one who can double swirl.
Ganyu was my first five star, I started playing during her banner last year and I didn't know a thing about Gacha and got super lucky as she was my very first event 10 pull. It was insane looking back on it, but at the time I thought nothing of it.
Needless to say, as I progressed in the game and was able to experiment with her builds I appreciated her more and more. I also began to realize why the game was so easy for me when I hit notoriously difficult parts in early game (dealing with Ruin Hunters, Childe boss etc.etc.)
She is kind of my ride or die at this point and I play her so much that I got her from level 80-81 without using a single talent book.

Fun fact ganyus burst has quadratic scaling
That means I stead of scaling linearly based on the number of enemies hit (e.g you do 2* damage when hitting 2 enemeies and 3* damage with 3) you scale quadraticaly (4* damage with 2 enemies 9* damage with 3)
This means past 2 enemies ganyus burst out paves her charged attacks
In morgana( her most popular team) she actually doesn't use any charge attacks instead relying completely on her burst for damage. In freeze teams amos stops being her best option and thundering pulse and polar star take over. In melt however ganyus charged attacks become the main damage source so amos goes back to being her bis

some internet info said that her burst can goes up over 10000% if there are 5 enemies stand close to each other, thats why morgana is broken in AOE(one of the best if not the best aoe team in the game), made me goosebump ;-;

I wanted ganyu for so long and she was my most wanted character and when it was time for her banner I was getting back into genshin after like 2 months and I had won 3 50/50s before that, and unfortunately I got Qiqi at my highest pity so far. So, best of luck to all Ganyu wanters, may you not lose the 50/50 :D

I somehow won 50/50... i was 10 wins and 2 loses... I almost cried... pulled on Zhongli.... 3 ten pulls later it went gold... I was freaking out... but on the 28 pity... It was C1 Qiqi. -_- but at least im at 61 pity now for Zhongli so he will be coming home soon.

I was initially saving my primos for Miko (still am) and had 70 pity on 50/50. At first I wasn't all that interested in Ganyu, but I did her trial again to see if I'd be interested in her playstyle. I decided to do a ten pull for my next 5 star. If I got Ganyu, cool and if not I got a guaranteed Miko on the way. Well, I got Ganyu and I'm really enjoying her in a melt comp (can't do a freeze comp, sadly). I think I've made a good decision.

Clarification on the c6 at 3:42, only the NEXT shot sent require charging, not all shots within the 30 seconds

So Ganyu is Fantastic, pulled her on the first day of the banner. Love her to bits, could kiss her on the lips, but she has expensive taste for teammates. no matter the comp you need atleast one other limited 5 star and for freeze you need Mona too and i only have the zombie baby and the fake cat girl. Hydro really out here with only 2 four stars.

@@iknowyoursearchhistory yeah but diona works much better in freeze team because there's no point diona batterying ganyu in a melt team because you're not really going to use ganyu's burst in that team comp. But if diona is your only shielder then i guess it's your last option for a shielder ._.
I actually love using her as a support , just use her burst and watch xiangling melt everything I just feel like I offended a lot of her mains in Co-op lmao ALSO WHAT WAS THAT GANYU HEALER

also using her as a support, for Diluc. I'm relatively new, and don't have enough resources to level/gear Ganyu up to a point where she is usable as a main DPS.
Plus side, she's fantastic in a support role. using some 4 piece emblem set, and she can more or less use her burst on cooldown.
Yeah, that's why I kinda wanna get her for my Hu Tao, but I want to get Zhongli more.
@@sinistralhydra Zhongli is more universal and he's an archon AND a support and we know the golden rule in every gacha : supports live forever so in this case go for zhongli first and then pull a dps or use any 4* they're strong enough , IF you don't care about meta however and she's your waifu go for her

You kinda missed the fact that Shenhe deals stacks per Dmg on enemy so if there are 3 enemies then 1 charged shot from Ganyu wastes all the charges

It does have a weak spot technically…those little creatures it spawns will faint if you use a charged attack whilst their core is glowing.
Omg I just got so lucky and pulled a double ganyu as f2p been saving for over a month and I lost 50/50 then ran out of primogems so iv spent the last few hours rounding up as many primogems and got enough for a single 10 pull and it was a double ganyu can be more happy with that.

Had the Amos bow since the beginning when I started Genshin which is almost 3 years ago from now. Wasn’t long in the beginning that I got the bow to rank 2 as a f2p and now I have ganyu after her 2nd or 3rd rerun and I am maining her.
You probably are feeling tired of the game and the fan base at this point and believe me man. I get it. But I genuinely didn't knew about the manual charge thing for ganyu and that made me go and play with her for the entire night. So thanks man. You are great. Will be there if you decide to branch into something else... Kinda... I'm not fan of streams :3

You can still use Shenhe but in freeze team like swap her with Diona but only if you can dodge or dont need healing/shield and if you use Kokomi as he freezes longer

SOMEHOW at some point in time, I got an Amos off of the Standard banner......so my shiny new Ganyu is broken right out the gate, LOL, and then 1 multi later I get Zhongli, so now I don't have to worry AS much about enemies getting in my face......and now I can beat the ever loving hell out of the Turtle-Rock-Dragon-thing to get Ayaka's weekly mats, Yay!.
Sometime I need to test out the combo of her and Mona, though, I don't have a Kazuha or Venti, Jean I focus more on her ATK/Healing with, and Sucrose......needs a lot more work to function properly, but generally I'm not too big on the Anemo/Swirl stuff, I rarely if ever use it, usually I let Ayaka/Hu Tao/Now-Ganyu just beat everything to death.......also maybe see how Xiangling works with her, since I think mine is C3 or C4....

I got ganyu in medium soft pity just today, started 21-23 days ago AR35 waiting for confirmation from all my friends.
I do a little whaling, but I'd still recommend Shenhe over Diona in the freeze comp if you're willing to use Prototype Amber on Mona OR if you're freezing so much that you don't need any sort of healing, you give Mona TTDS. Shenhe's skill and burst will provide a substantial DPS increase over Diona regardless of whether it's Ganyu's burst, her E, or her charged shots proccing the quills.
Also, for melt Ganyu with Amos bow and Bennett in your team; if you can, use an EM sands instead. Your attack stat when you factor in Amos Bow alongside Bennett will be so unnecessarily high that you'll begin suffering some diminishing returns, and strengthening the potency of your reactions directly by getting more EM will be a more substantial damage increase than using an ATK% sands. Substats take priority of course, don't use an EM sands if the substats are worse than your ATK% sands, but your melt reactions will thank you if you can get an EM sands with a good crit value.
I'm still scrounging for an EM sands lol, my Ganyu reaches 2.5k atk with pyro resonance

I have been farming and prepping for Ganyus rerun banner since I started the game. So I kept her in mind for everything that I did. The only character I Whaled for and set money aside for. And finally, 9 months, countless hours, and many domains farmed later, my beloved has come home at C6. Now just to save for Yae Miko…
Congrats dude. C6 Ganyu is freakin nutty. I use melt Ganyu as it's a little more fun for me personally. But I hit like 90k charged shots with trash tier artifacts. She's a beast. Still think Eula's C6 is stronger though.

Just wanted to point out Ganyu does snapshot, as if it wasnt enough haha, so buffs like the Prototype Crescent bow passive keep up through the whole duration of her burst, and that at r5 that buff its 72%, that buff is soo good on Ganyu burst that its considered better than any five star weapon on her in freeze teams as long as you can get it consistantly by theorycrafters, and yeah Ganyu is as insane as shown in this video, the best cryo character in the game by far.
I do not have her but I do have a friend who is a new AR and I can watch this to let them know what to use
