What a beauty! You continue to make classic designs with your core “Go To” colors. Please go fast. Crawling is cool but moving with speed is definitely cooler. 😎💪
Nice build! Think the battery tray could be 3D printed maybe one exists out there. I find myself using so much 3D printed parts and even making my own stuff to custom fit into RC's.
Hi bud would you still happen to have the stock hood hinges cause I know you didn't use yours I lost one and I'm having a very hard time finding them even using the AX number and parts tree number on the Axial site it keeps saying that it's incorrect and I'm getting the info from my owner's manual
After seeing your builds, I want to build a fast Ultra4 style trail runner, what would be your choice the Wraith 1.9 or the much beloved RR10 Bomber or do you have another option??
Depends on what size you're wanting. Wraith 1.9 is quite a bit smaller and a different class vs. the Bomber. Durability wis, they'll both need quite a bit of upgrades to make them work for U4. The Bomber will be a bit more forgiving (2.2) but has that flawed transmission - most guys are running a standard Wraith trans in the bomber
crawl video first .i have just build a custom crawler front and rear steering i have cnc scx10 axles but i keep braking cvd joints on the front every time i take it out and i cant figure out why i do have 2.2 high mass rims and 2 stage foams and boom racing hustle tyres its got to the point i am thinking of selving it as it keeps braking the same part and the are stainless steel cvds to and ideas
Thanks Bruce - weird on the CVD's - which brad are you running? I've found the best to be the Axial Universals and the Vanquish (if you can find them). I've snapped Hot racing and Boom before
@@rileykairc That's likely the issue - pick up the axial versions and you should be good. Also, make sure you're not doing the forward reverse forward reverse thing, especially on asphalt - that will snap unis every time
You never see a crawler built like this and I think more should. With that system is it smooth enough that you can style do a lil crawling with? Everyone kept telling me it would destroy a crawler and your proof, thanks so much for the inspiration

I'd say go fast until you find some rocks. Never pass up an opportunity to go fast.
I agree!
Do a mix of fast and slow for the run vid
That might be the ticket!
The RCNetwork yes & I would love to see that thing jump!
What a beauty! You continue to make classic designs with your core “Go To” colors.
Please go fast. Crawling is cool but moving with speed is definitely cooler. 😎💪
Ya
Thanks Randy! It turned out better than expected!
Great 👍 build ... I’ve been fascinated lately with crawlers... I’d like to see it crawl!!!
Crawlers are cool! Slow is the new fast.....
I really like the look, the color combination matches the axles and steering. Great job
Thanks buddy! It all came together nicely in the end
Do a rock crawl. I have one and People are usually blown away how capable these are with a few mods.
I'm still blown away at how 1/10th scale crawlers handle!
Looks awesome Rich! Everything goes fast these days........let’s see some Crawlin’!
I've been crawling a lot lately.....it's like therapy during these times
Rich, please make more videos, yours are the best!
I have three scheduled - the TRX-4 Sport budgets build, VP VS410 Pro and a ProStar ET410.2 Conversion SCT
Awesome job. Crawl baby crawl
Thanks 👍
It would be fun to see a U4 style run some fast track jump sections and some rocks. Great looking rig.
I agree...just need to find some rocks....
Crawl to the Bash spot!
Good point! Thanks for watching!
I think do both. Showcase the versatility that it seems you built into this rig. Love the content.
Thanks Bryce!
Great looking rig. Love it
Thanks! I still need to drive this one!
Oh thanks.. now i have to buy myself a 1.9
It's quite fun!
Thing is sick
Thanks buddy!

Yeah, I'm thinking crawl would be better...
GO FAST!🚀🤟🏻
Like a rocket, Mathias!
Clean and mean
Thanks buddy!
Nice build! Think the battery tray could be 3D printed maybe one exists out there. I find myself using so much 3D printed parts and even making my own stuff to custom fit into RC's.
Yeah,, def. I don't have access to a 3d printer (I know, I'm one of the last ones on earth!)
Those Currie Axles... i wish i had the money for those
I didn't plan on those...they just jumped in my cart 😬
Fast and fun
Fast is fun!
Nice!
Thanks buddy!
Lo felicito que buen proyecto... Ya quiero uno así. 👍

Yes, it can!

Show some crawling and speed runs too.
Yeah, maybe a combo video....
I’d like to see it crawl first...👍🏼
Me too!
Pardon my resurrection but, I can't seem to find the video showing you running this... did I miss it?
Nope, no running video filmed yet
Fast!
Thanks for commenting!
When is the running vid coming out?
Hopefully here soon....I'm getting caught up with promised videos right now
@@TheRCNetwork just ordered a Wraith 1.9 to do a similar build.

I want to build a very similar 1.9 wraith and want speed and no drag brake or immediate reverse and drive it like an ultra 4/rock racet style
That's exactly how I have the electronics set up now. It's very smooth and fast

@@TheRCNetwork excellent... hope all is well and always looking forward to more content but you backed off youtube a bit ay...
I'd like you to race it but in reality, Do what you can with the current situation
Yeah, agreed - it's still weird out there!
a crawler
I agree!
Ultra4 or nothing bro
I tend to agree with that!
Make go fast video
It likes to go fast!
FnF
Thanks for watching!
Electronics? 🤷♂️
Episode 2 goes over all of that - but it's a HW XR8 SCT Pro and a 3652 brushless/sensored 3100kv motor
@@TheRCNetwork thanks i probably missed that one. I'll take a look 👍
