Great video! I've never seen a comparison video like that, but I find it very original and cool. I think it is very useful to see the exact difference, since aurally they are so similar that it is practically the same, but here we can see exactly how they differ :0
So similar yet in reality they sound quite different The SD-1 cuts through in a band and the TS with humbuckers sounds like putting a wet blanket over a speaker
I've always felt that they are very similar in frequency response, but the SD-1 is a bit more aggressive in the harmonic structure. It has a bit grainier and thicker distortion because of the asymmetrical clipping. I like them both and I usually use them interchangeably.
@@icantsing44 OK thank you . Can you also tell me between the standard full-size TS-9 and the Boss SD-1 which of the two cuts the low end less? Greetings!
Nice comparison. New sub. I personally prefer the asymmetrical clipping of the SD-1 to the TS.
Thank you.

this is a great comparison. I can hear the guitar sounds just by looking at the graph. It's amazing.
Thank you.
whoa, cool comparison
Thank you.

please do this comparison with a drive in 0 because is most used like this when type is a booster mode
In case of these two pedals, even if you minimize the drive control, you will get the same result on the spectrum analyzer.
Addicted! LOL!
No comparison SD-1….its a must for any player.
Which of the two pedals has more low end? Thanks for the reply. Greetings.
It's Ts mini on the graph, but I don't think there's much of a difference.

@@silviolutti1522 I don't own the full-size TS-9, but I plan to get one someday.
They’re basically the same pedal 😂
Try plugging in and playing them….seems to work for most people….its music.
