Edit: As of this past week, I've worked at Outback for 5 years. Something I have to say about the food is that it's always been good. Everyone in our restaurant has always eaten our food. Steakhouse Mac and Cheese, Cheese fries, any steak (ribeyes are forever my favorite), queensland pasta, bloom petals, ranch (made in-house)- all are major favorites. We're not perfect, but our food is great. Looool just for clarification: Blooming Onions are NOT cut by hand. Outback has a patent on the cutter that they use, though. Edit: Prawns are slightly different! They have more stripes on their back than shrimp. Otherwise, same thing.
@Peter Schmidt have you worked at outback? 😂 so many lawsuits from it. My store had started doing breaks for minors right in my last year. But I actually left when the pandemic happened. I worked every position up to key management. I still stand by their food. But it was miserable at times 😂
THIS IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE THING ON RUclips seriously please dont stop I literally jump for joy like a little girl when I see a new "EATS ALL THE good THINGS"
Yup, if they did this secretly it would be the real experience. I've been to the outback, and I promise you, the presentation rarely looks like that. Not bad, but definitely not as it was in the video lol.
Probably unpopular opinion, but I love the Outback near my house. I have gotten people hooked on it. Good presentation, great cuts, great flavor. Can't beat the price.
I can see that Delish staff really takes in the complains of viewers. For this episode Julia doesn't poke around in her food anymore and it actually feels like the food can be taken home and shared by the other staff. Also Julia doesnt really drag her fork over her teeth anymore. Thank you Delish staff for taking in our opinions and making the show even better. This is one of my favorite series on RUclips!
I'm a vegetarian but I love watching Julia eat 😭 btw, Julia I think you should start showing what nail polish you use in each video because I LIVE for those nails
I’m Aussie and hearing her sing those lyrics made me laugh 😂 If anyone cares it’s this - “Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree Merry, merry king of the bush is he Laugh, Kookaburra! Laugh, Kookaburra! Gay your life must be!”
In chorus in the US we sing “Great your life must be” as the last line. Didn’t realize that line was changed. But I sung that in my head as soon as she said “Kookaburra” lol
Julia Smith ... I recently came across your page and became an immediate fan! You have that it factor about you, keep shining girlfriend! #NewSubscriber ♥️
I feel like we have all of it in Aus but its cause we have gotten it from America originally HAHa like I literally hadn't even heard of Ranch dressing until like a year ago
Ur right, we don't serve bearded dragons with a side of gator in the US😅. American food is the best food I've ever had. Puts Euro food to shame. Cheaper and bigger portions. Who wants to eat with a bunch of prisoners (Australians)?
15:49 My mom has always made my baked potatos the way they make their loaded baked potatoes. Didnt know that! It was always how her mom made them for her, and she made for us growing up :) I always LOVED that she pinched the sides like that and put the perfect amount of each topping!! I dont even eat outback so I didnt know they did this! Dang, now I wish I could see my mom and have her make me one!
Omg those fried mushrooms 🥰🥰🥰 I would marry those if I could! The blue cheese pecan salad is so addictive. And for sides, those mixed veggies are literally the best. Seriously. I always get them.
That random child scared the Sugar Honey Ice Tea outta me! I thought I was tripping for a second. EVERYTHING looked soo good. Love watching you, so funny.
I used to work at Outback and I still eat there all the time. All their dressings and sauces (including the fudge) are made in house. There's not even a freezer on the premises except a little chest one for the ice cream. Everything is so fresh. It's such a reliably good chain.
Shawna's Ideas I know. I’m a rare guy and would be sending stuff back with that much variety. They cook so much steak they should be able to judge doneness
I wouldn't be surprised if they were all ordered medium rare and came out that way. I stopped ordering from Outback because they were so inconsistent with their temps. Pretty sad considering they are a "steakhouse". Always ordered the bone in ribeye rare. Only about 20% came out that way.
Man!!!! These videos are making me hungry!!!! Goodness gracious! I can honestly say that when I worked at Outback and other restaurants I make sure every dish I sent to the dining room looked as good as possible.
Soup, salad and potato round was amazing. I could skip the steak for appetizers, soup, salad and potatoes. That blackberry sangria I would have to try.
I’m Australian and I’ve never seen an “Outback” restaurant before haha! And “Ranch” isn’t really a thing here! I don’t know one person who uses it 🤷🏼♀️😅 but great video as always guys!!!
I'm an Aussie too, and I went to LA last year. I stayed at Long Beach and went to Outback steakhouse and trust me I've NEVER eaten any of the food they had there. The only thing Australian about the place was the names of the dishes. Like "Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp" ...Sorry "prawns" an "Kookaburra wings". Yes they're chicken. They didn't even serve Australian Beer which probably disappointed me the most. Yet in a nearby supermarket I saw Bundaberg Ginger beer, Tim Tams, and YES Vegemite.
I'm not sure why this popped up in my recommended or why I watched the entire thing but I respect you & now I know exactly what to order @ Outback from now on
Alice springs chicken is my favorite with that amazing honey mustard, I get a baked potato with it and drizzle some of the honey mustard on my potato. It’s pretty amazing. I love the cheese fries appetizer too
I lived in Houston for awhile. My daughter was 9 years old. She is now married and has 3 children. We would go to the Outback in Katy Texas it was amazing. If you want to go to an Outback that’s the best, go there. Our Outback where I live now disappoints.

I love the steakhouse Mac and cheese favorite side there

Great point. I was seeing a lot of saliva transfer on the food which ultimately ends up back at the office for coworkers to eat! You never know do ya?
you never worked in a restaurant then. lol. we all eat off each others plates no shame. Dead food? yes please

As an Aussie, does Outback Steakhouse offend you? I'm curious. It's basically a stereotype of what Americans think Australia is.

caity clawson soup isn’t Mac and cheese bites.
Nikki Marie that made me laugh a lot 😂

The best thing about this series of videos is that these are all places that I feel most people can go to. They are mostly nationwide and affordable.

Also, fun fact... shrimp and prawns are completely different animals
