Thanks a lot Michael ! The owners were living onboard while working in Tahiti and are moving to Canada, far away from the sea. They will miss the ocean !
@@SAILTAHITIwhich is about 1/2 of solar necessary to live in some level of comfort. I see some sailors building their own custom hard tops for these vessels and I’m wondering why the factories aren’t getting onboard with these as an option. It doubles the space for solar, is wider so rain doesn’t pour into the outdoor space and provides more storage above for fishing rods, spear roads, etc.
@@darrylcox8267probably because their primary buyers are not liveaboards. It’s a little weird to design sailboats for the purpose of being able to put as much solar as possible on a bimini. These solar hardtops/bimini’s also take a lot of windage, so i reckon the yards don’t want to be liable for possible accidents.

Sailboat calculations for 46.1 is terrible. Comfort ratio is 22.37. Not a good choice for bluewater crusing
lovely looking boat. But this dude is about 5' 4" at best, so anything is gonna look roomy on him
headroom is 2.01 meters. Surely not big enough fo a pro basketball player but perfectly fine for most human beings ;-)
