Health Theory was such a great idea because even if most entrepreneurs are interested in health related subjects not all put this ( unfortunately) on top of their priorities. This is why most fail to fight properly against stress. Really interesting the approach of the blood sugar.

Hmm, ya me too. And there is an issue in this thinking. We are getting addicted to this motivation and productivity. We should acknowledge it and be aware of it and should focus on implementing more. We can take notes of all our learning and can use it for reminding ourselves the concepts on a daily basis. This will help. Neurons that wire together fire together :)

On the first I celebrate 21 months of sobriety from heroin and opiates. I am also diagnosed with PTSD, bipolar and OCD. I do not take any pharmacutical medication. I use cannabis, mushrooms, exercise, art, mindfulness, expression of emotions, and surrounding myself in a healthy safe environment. Mind, body, and spirit. I am participating in a 10 year study with the University of Arizona in how our lifestyle effects our physiology, so maybe we can see how with intention and positivity nature will help us heal. Thank you Tom for what you do 💪💪💪

I LOVE Dr. Maloof! I learned so much and was able to piece some stuff about my health that I've been trying to piece on my own. It's true - most of the healthcare industry, through their intentions are noble, only focus on labeling a disease and billing for it. Awesome guest, Tom!

I think one thing that everyone needs to monitor is their emotional happiness level. I think people have often become accustomed to feeling bad and they don't realize that they are not happy in life.

I believe that we can consume healthy foods and feel just satisfied and don't feel hungry or other temptations for unhealthy snacks or overeating if we feed our souls after feeding the body. Everyone should monitor the state where they feel like eating sweets and then asking themselfes if the actual hunger is the food not society, conversations, friendships, body moovement, etcs. - --> food for soul.

OMG, I totally noticed that!! I would get night sweats and feel “off” (especially when eating sweets), if I was holding a grudge or feeling hurt/offended by my wife. It was only her who could trigger this. But I noticed keeping short accounts with her, receiving/feeling the pain, and staying in forgiveness made those night sweats and that “off” feeling literally evaporate. So crazy that, that is actually a thing! Btw, I had a similar experience. Coming off a three day fast I pounded three fresh ears of corn. Then I wondered why my vision was suddenly wigging out (I couldn’t see, I lost it) and then I almost passed out. I totally bottomed out. Then my wife put two and two together.. yea, straight carbs after a fast.. that was dumb :)

Hey Tom, I'm your biggest fan in the Rolf Structural Integration community! Awesome that you brought Rolfing up in this epic episode with Dr. Molly! We're a small community with a huuuge offering, and in a way that's so in line with EVERYTHING your show is about.
Dr. Rolf's work gained a lot of traction through the human potential movement and I believe you're single handedly sparking a revival on the topic. The topic is more important now more than ever!
Loved meeting you this summer at Chirosushi, your keynote killed that conference!
I've had a couple of clients who listen to you too and seeing yours and my pictures up on my social really solidified that connection!
If you ever want to know more about Rolf Structural Integration hit me up, I'll do whatever I can to make what you need happen! Love your selflessness, it's contagious, and it's rubbing off on me.
Thanks for bringing awesomeness to the world!

I am a product of positive results from utilizing psychedelics to improve my overall wellbeing. I used to weigh 290 lbs back in 2003. When I was introduced to self-healing and the growth mindset, I was able to lose 145 lbs over 6 years and 2009 got to 155 lbs. After being married for 10 years with 3 kids now, I've maintained a healthy living and my weight is 165 lbs. Now mind you, I'm 39, have had 2 colonoscopies and a massive heart attack but happier than ever in my life!

That was a really fun and informative talk!
When you talked about Lisa and her experience with pain releasing built up energy and stress through tears I was reminded of my own experience with that on a regional Russian Burn when my joints had been reset by a healer. It is so real and rather scary when you never cry and the pain isn't even that bad but the tears suddenly start flooding over and you can't freaking stop them until the build up of energy has left your body. Never thought that to actually be a thing the body does. The mind was super clear after that though.

Right off the bat, Dr Maloof speaks of the damage done to organs just through prediabetes. I've asked questions on how to reverse (I know it's multi-faceted) severe insulin resistance on another health theory. I've been dealing with this for over a decade. Likely, I need to take more seriously just the basic lifestyle changes. I'm liking this Drs very straight forward style and can't wait to learn on how to improve my health.
Update: hormones make a big difference and can sometimes make up for the difference that "lifestyle changes" may not be able to do for you alone.

As a remodeling contractor that also does weights and cardio everyday, and a vegetarian, her point that it's almost impossible to get enough protein through just plants is just not true. Just go to RUclips and look at all of those that are some of the healthiest folks alive. Meat may be the EASIEST way to get a lot of protein in just a few ounces, it is absolutely possible and quite easy to do it with plants and vegetables.
Other than that comment, I think she's a brilliant and hopefully will see more of her in mainstream media. Thank you for all of your hard work!

There are other therapies out there like trauma release exercises, emdr, nlp, and somato emotional release that are benificial at clearing the crap from the body without having to relive the experiences. Like psycotherapy would have one do. Then once the energy is freed then the stuff can come up to be processed.
