i like the tabular presentation of topics at the bottom of screen
agreed..allows me to know what direction the talk is going and anticipate information and form a better take away.
A really good, simple idea. Other RUclips channels should take note.
Always bringing speakers with perspectives you cannot get in mainstream media!
Health Theory was such a great idea because even if most entrepreneurs are interested in health related subjects not all put this ( unfortunately) on top of their priorities. This is why most fail to fight properly against stress. Really interesting the approach of the blood sugar.
Awesome interview. I like how she called out the healthcare system. She is spot on
Please never stop interviewing growth mindset people and putting out content, I can’t get enough!!!!
Hmm, ya me too. And there is an issue in this thinking. We are getting addicted to this motivation and productivity. We should acknowledge it and be aware of it and should focus on implementing more. We can take notes of all our learning and can use it for reminding ourselves the concepts on a daily basis. This will help. Neurons that wire together fire together :)
This woman is so well educated and awesome. As humans, we should never stop learning no matter what
She is where new age meets science, real change happening. Super refreshing, I will be watching her work closely.
On the first I celebrate 21 months of sobriety from heroin and opiates. I am also diagnosed with PTSD, bipolar and OCD. I do not take any pharmacutical medication. I use cannabis, mushrooms, exercise, art, mindfulness, expression of emotions, and surrounding myself in a healthy safe environment. Mind, body, and spirit. I am participating in a 10 year study with the University of Arizona in how our lifestyle effects our physiology, so maybe we can see how with intention and positivity nature will help us heal. Thank you Tom for what you do 💪💪💪
she is smart, successful, incredibly interesting and as a bonus, beautiful.
thanks for this video, i learned a lot.
you said it
I LOVE Dr. Maloof! I learned so much and was able to piece some stuff about my health that I've been trying to piece on my own. It's true - most of the healthcare industry, through their intentions are noble, only focus on labeling a disease and billing for it. Awesome guest, Tom!
I think one thing that everyone needs to monitor is their emotional happiness level. I think people have often become accustomed to feeling bad and they don't realize that they are not happy in life.
Is there is a kind of happiness that doesn't involve emotions? ;-)
I believe that we can consume healthy foods and feel just satisfied and don't feel hungry or other temptations for unhealthy snacks or overeating if we feed our souls after feeding the body. Everyone should monitor the state where they feel like eating sweets and then asking themselfes if the actual hunger is the food not society, conversations, friendships, body moovement, etcs. - --> food for soul.
"Sickness Billing Industrial Complex". Damn Right.
She covers a lot, and she can definitely go deeper if we get another chance to hear her! I love that doesn't neglect to talk about trauma in our health. I'm impressed.
I got more quality information in the 1st 15 minutes of this video than I have in the past 2-3 years! Thank you so much for this interview!
Wow, she talks as fast as Tom!! 👍 Kudos for her message & excellent delivery.👍💟🤓
Wow i LOVE all of your videos!!! Thank you for always sharing . Each episode is insanely insightful and beneficial 🙏🏻❤️
Well said
MOLLY MALOOF is my role model at first sight!
hi Tom,
My mum was on diabetes Meds for 15yrs +_ high BP + Cholesterol medicine, she started. i followed china study diet and she got rid of all her meds in 1 month. and also she lost about 8kgs. She try never to miss her 2km evening walk . my point is she is eating around 800gm of Fruit (weighed after cut and peeled) everyday but didn't gain weight.
I LOVE this woman's non extream approach! We as humans seem to have stream ways to view things, and it's kiling us. I wish all Dr's had a holistic approach to healthcare instead of being so close minded. Totally agree with wholefoods above any "diet". Mother nature always has the answers I believe...
This woman is so wise for someone only in her 30s. She is such a gorgeous human being inside and out from what I can tell in this video. What a great interview! Thank you for sharing.
I love how you went straight into the interview! No loud audience volume I need to account for ... 👍👍👍
outstanding! just started listening to Molly and she is brilliant. She breaks down super complex information so I can understand it.
God bless u and ur wife Tom .may she heal completely . It’s so
Nice that you care so much for her .
What would be a good ketone glucose monitor ? She said she was wearing one while doing yoga and her glucose levels had dropped 60 points...
did you find an awnser to this?
YAY! someone has a platform to share what i believe and have preached for years!! Thanks Tom and Dr Molly :-) great content!!
This is for sure one of my favourite interviews! So much to apply. This is why I watch impact theory/ health theory religiously. Love from South Africa
OMG, I totally noticed that!! I would get night sweats and feel “off” (especially when eating sweets), if I was holding a grudge or feeling hurt/offended by my wife. It was only her who could trigger this. But I noticed keeping short accounts with her, receiving/feeling the pain, and staying in forgiveness made those night sweats and that “off” feeling literally evaporate. So crazy that, that is actually a thing! Btw, I had a similar experience. Coming off a three day fast I pounded three fresh ears of corn. Then I wondered why my vision was suddenly wigging out (I couldn’t see, I lost it) and then I almost passed out. I totally bottomed out. Then my wife put two and two together.. yea, straight carbs after a fast.. that was dumb :)
20:15 please PLEASE, both of you, do 30 days fruit only, then have another conversation about it!! I LOVE my fruitarian stints and feel SO ALIVE while doing them, but have not monitored my sugar during.
I would be very interested to hear what the two of you have to say after doing 30 days fruit only. Orvel Douglas hosts many 30-Day fruit challenges on Facebook :-)
That timing Tom! Yesterday I booked time for a blood tests for the next week, here we go... 🙏🏻
Hey Tom, I'm your biggest fan in the Rolf Structural Integration community! Awesome that you brought Rolfing up in this epic episode with Dr. Molly! We're a small community with a huuuge offering, and in a way that's so in line with EVERYTHING your show is about.
Dr. Rolf's work gained a lot of traction through the human potential movement and I believe you're single handedly sparking a revival on the topic. The topic is more important now more than ever!
Loved meeting you this summer at Chirosushi, your keynote killed that conference!
I've had a couple of clients who listen to you too and seeing yours and my pictures up on my social really solidified that connection!
If you ever want to know more about Rolf Structural Integration hit me up, I'll do whatever I can to make what you need happen! Love your selflessness, it's contagious, and it's rubbing off on me.
Thanks for bringing awesomeness to the world!
OH Man I love your videos!!! You bring interesting people and I am learning so much from your videos . Thank you Tom. Also I love how , you match everything you wear .
Brilliant definition of health. Resilience and adaptation is in essence vitality.
this is most doubt clearing ,truly holistic and covering almost everything episode
all these theories were already in ayurveda but we are not following it
My favorite interview ever !!!!!!!!!!
WOW - I've never googled soo many concepts - She is incredible and Tom does a great job as usual to casually guide the conversation. So many topics to look into. Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for putting shownotes on descriptions. This should be standard on youtube videos.
I am a product of positive results from utilizing psychedelics to improve my overall wellbeing. I used to weigh 290 lbs back in 2003. When I was introduced to self-healing and the growth mindset, I was able to lose 145 lbs over 6 years and 2009 got to 155 lbs. After being married for 10 years with 3 kids now, I've maintained a healthy living and my weight is 165 lbs. Now mind you, I'm 39, have had 2 colonoscopies and a massive heart attack but happier than ever in my life!
Great informative discussion. She seems like she has a very balanced perspective on things
Bro i LOOOVE the fact that you've responded to your calling and have made these videos!
I am excited about this info--been saying most of my life that it is individual complex, and also, simple. Eating a variety of whole, healthy real foods, not over-consuming, and paying attention to how my body feels is the key to a happy life. I have been battling inflammation my whole life--diagnosed with RA before age 12.
Wow! Interesting content. I’m so glad Your started the venture. Health Theory!
Love your content. Both here and Impact theory!
Really enjoyed, thank you. 😊
Love than she is open for everything and she tries everything before recommending it to the public. 😊
Always like to tweak my health habits with these insights. Thanks Tom.
+
I like it good interview I like the bar at the bottom that guide you if you skip that's pretty awesome
I love her new definition of health! I would like to quote that.
Now in 2020 great advice how do we connect with ppl with this uncomfortable pandemic let's spread positivity may god bless us look forward to more positive feedback 🙏🙌🏻🧡💗💓💝💜💚💛
One of the best interviews, insight on so many topics. as always Tom, great interview.
That was a really fun and informative talk!
When you talked about Lisa and her experience with pain releasing built up energy and stress through tears I was reminded of my own experience with that on a regional Russian Burn when my joints had been reset by a healer. It is so real and rather scary when you never cry and the pain isn't even that bad but the tears suddenly start flooding over and you can't freaking stop them until the build up of energy has left your body. Never thought that to actually be a thing the body does. The mind was super clear after that though.
Molly is one of the most beautiful, well-informed, and curious people I have ever seen. DEFINITELY checking out her stuff.
Loved this interview so so much !!!! She’s the future !
amazing woman I pray God always keeps her safe
Oh my. No transcript available for this chat. It’s so interesting!!
Right off the bat, Dr Maloof speaks of the damage done to organs just through prediabetes. I've asked questions on how to reverse (I know it's multi-faceted) severe insulin resistance on another health theory. I've been dealing with this for over a decade. Likely, I need to take more seriously just the basic lifestyle changes. I'm liking this Drs very straight forward style and can't wait to learn on how to improve my health.
Update: hormones make a big difference and can sometimes make up for the difference that "lifestyle changes" may not be able to do for you alone.
H I google jason fung md and listen to him on u tube
Hey Tom, you know what would be helpful? If you summarized in the end the main messages. Some of us listen to it while exercising or multitasking, and we might not manage to get everything
Good work
Doc, you told the truth. I enjoyed the dialogue with you and the host. Great information!
Great content, great effort!!
I cried watching this episode. So impactful.
As a remodeling contractor that also does weights and cardio everyday, and a vegetarian, her point that it's almost impossible to get enough protein through just plants is just not true. Just go to RUclips and look at all of those that are some of the healthiest folks alive. Meat may be the EASIEST way to get a lot of protein in just a few ounces, it is absolutely possible and quite easy to do it with plants and vegetables.
Other than that comment, I think she's a brilliant and hopefully will see more of her in mainstream media. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Very informative interview. Always great to watch someone who is so good at getting information out of their guests.
Real good one here. A reminder of the importance of veggies I sometimes forget every now and then. Curious and fearful about MDMA myself...
Awesome again Tom! U keep hitting it out the park! Your guest Dr Molly is phenomenal n helpful!
Tom you are doing such a wonderful job, insanely educating us with all those videos. We the viewer really care about you. Please please have your thyroid check. Every day I look at the bag under your eyes. Maybe you are working too much or your thyroid need a special attention and care. From my heart thank you for giving us great information. In love with impact quotes, impact theory and then I am following you here.
Prior to clicking play, I really had my doubts...wow, such a great vid, with great information. Will be watching more than once. Thank you
she's amazing 💓
I love the time markers and the content of course!!!
One of the best shows so far, and that's saying a lot.
That metabolic set point explains why people get to a certain (over)weight and maintain it ...
A lot this won’t be heard by the people that really need it. Great information and great interview. Let me know when you’re ready to interview me.
POWERFUL, Dr. Maloof!
Great interview lots of great questions as always. Learned a lot from Molly. maybe it was her nerves from being on your show but she seemed to not let you finish some of your questions and just jumped on the answer. Being in sales that's just something that I pick up on other than that loved it
I loved the content. You mentioned that you are interested in the benefits of Mdma. There are other therapies out there like trauma release exercises, emdr, nlp, and somato emotional release that are benificial at clearing the crap from the body without having to relive the experiences. Like psycotherapy would have one do. Then once the energy is freed then the stuff can come up to be processed.
I LOVE this woman. Thank you for exposing us to these hungry minds.
She's so smart and pretty, i love this episode!
This amazing! Seriously! So comprehensive and forward thinking
Great episode, I liked the new way of connecting the body and the mind.
Hi I love watching your Impact and Health Theory shows because they are closed captioned. That’s a pretty important thing for a hard of hearing person. However this particular episode is not. Would it be possible for your to fix that on RUclips so I can watch what everyone is saying a great show? Thanks!,
Excellent interviewer
Love your work Tom. I literally recommend your vids to everyone I know. Would LOVE to see you interview Owen (Tyler) or Julien from RSD.
Thanks Dr Molly...
Social determinants of health is real.
This is a very informative video and my mindset is on the same path thank you!
Amazing interview! thank you Tom, Molly.
Love the conversation and information!
OK - so I hear about glucose monitoring (either continuous or finger prick...I don't mindfinger pricking at all)
*BUT* in terms of how to apply/interpret the data, I'm having trouble finding anything besides diabetes management, etc
here can I find info on general health/performance/athletics, as it relates to glucose monitoring?
Being healthy means being accepting with where you are at.
It would be a life accomplishment to meet you man!!! I love your work and the way you are impacting the world! My goal is to do the same with youth ! Amazing information! Please reach out!
Excellent Podcast 🙂👍
I know this video is from a few years ago but Tom please have CarnivoreMD on! You have great questions
Guys!!! UPDATE: My book count is 15 now :)
wow! mine is 3 :)
Nice going! :)
Thats how many you have read or fot to read now???
I have read them in the last 3 months :)
You read 15 books, but is it just for the sake of reading or you actually implement what they recommend in your own life?
Is Impact Theory a setting that allows an audience and if so where is it located?
Same
Where did you find her?! This woman is AMAZING! 💯
DR MOLLY YOU ARE A DAMN GENIUS AND ONE DAY YOU WILL GET THAT DAMN NOBEL I BLOODY ADORE YOU
OMG this talk is so confirming for me!
Very good video.
Great interview!! She's amazing really!!
Hi, great interview. Can you add at least automatic English subtitles please?
I want your t-shirt collection!!
Legit! The man definitely wears the dopest Tees!!!
I’m surprised Tom has never talked about a fruit fast. Helps with hypertension
Your next guest to talk about stress, health, performance, etc. should be Mark Waldman.
