I wonder if you're interested in one day doing some kind of a video focused on dodging in ROTR. In this video, you did a handful of examples of you dodging the red attacks instead of countersparking them (like at 28:05). I'm looking at videos of other people playing ROTR and it seems like most players aren't bothering to explore the usefulness of dodging in ROTR and would rather just take damage with a failed counterspark. Some players even outright say that dodging is "useless" in ROTR. Perhaps a video montage showing you consistently dodging red attacks from hard enemies and bosses can open the eyes of these players. Just a suggestion.
the thing is that parry gives reward while dodging has none so it is more demanding to focus on dodge only which makes the game parry focus. But, that doesnt mean that it is not possible.
@@LasttoLoad For me, the reward for properly dodging is that I don't get hit. Given the choice between (A) losing half or more of my health in a failed counterspark against a red attack and (B) dodging that red attack, why wouldn't I dodge it? Obviously, at the end of the day, I am still going to want to learn how to counterspark all enemy attacks. But that's not going to happen overnight, or even by the end of a first playthrough. It's a long-term goal that's part of the mastery of this game. If I or any other player want to just win and progress, playing safe and learning how to use dodges properly is the better way to make that victory happen, instead of spamming triangle and hoping I'll get a lucky counterspark. Especially if I'm at low health or have run out of healing. I'm not suddenly going to magically learn how to perfectly counterspark every enemy attack that comes my way when I'm in that dangerous scenario. I'm going to have to play safe.
@@brightsuperstitionthe dojo helped me a lot fighting boss tier enemies helped my couterspark game tremendously even if I still don't parry every thing I get most especially reds its just some of the faster attacks that still get me so I'd recommend spend some time in the dojo
It would be on other platforms probably later, if not at least Square Enix learnt the lesson and threw away Sony as they are just trying to do data mining with the PSN accounts, so probably Team Ninja part of Tecmo a team who focuses on history and authenticity could follow them, besides we do not need business with PS but with Team Ninja itself.
Man, the nioh and hayabusa ryu really bring back memories. Love it
I’ve been loving the hayabusa stance. It wrecks bosses and is so stylish with its grapples.
Yagyu Shinkage style seems to be pretty cool.
Tatsumi ryu is so much fun.
Keep up the awesome content as always 👍
I really wish Tennin Rishin and Aisu Kage weren't both Ten stances, they look like the two styles I'd like the most

extremely thorough
It sucks that these game is not on other platforms. At least, a ps4 release would be nice because the game doesn't seem very hardware demanding
that would reach many other players who played nioh on ps4 yea
@@LasttoLoad isnt the game outselling nioh dispite this?
@@aidanfenton4377 from what they stated yea, but we would like to see actual numbers.

U did not show it but for anyone who needs to know the stab art in mumyo-ryu can be continued with extra button presses
yea i forgot to include it,, but ive mentioned it in the comment section instead for every combat styles vid.
Nice man. Whats ur fav 3 stances? And u should make a video explaining veiled art cancel. I love ur video tips.
unless you meant violent gale, veiled art cancel isnt a thing anymore
@@LasttoLoad team ninja patched it??
yes they patched the hidden veiled arts. Instead, violent got faster and cancellable with martial skills.
pity no sword and sheath fight style
I’m playing twilight and just mow everyone down. Game is to easy towards end. Haven’t finished bc it’s kinda boring now
There is a new difficulty upon completing the game, and enemies become tougher with new attacks and item usages.
7:59 so funny
yea, it can be difficult to land a hit with this skill
@@LasttoLoadlate but fuck that Skill 😒 everything else from the Style it's just perfect
I will play it once on PC, eagerly waiting it is a shame that probably Wukong will win more awards for being a Sekiro rip off.
