There's always been something special about Animal Crossing in the morning. I used to wake up early to play the GCN version before school to see what was going on
My first animal crossing was gamecube when i was 9 or 10. Im now 32. Man time flies. This made me nostalgic. The only animal crossing i never got to play was wild world since i didn't own a gameboy. Currently im working on a spongebob theme in new horizons
@Jev: It looks like you deleted your comment, but yes, I have posted two City Folk videos back-to-back. But don't worry, I have some GameCube and New Horizons videos coming soon too, as well as another Wild World episode later in the month. 🙂
I've actually never played City Folk, one of the few I never did get a chance to play, but I hope to one day play it cause you make it look so much fun ☺️
I recently picked up Wild World and City Folk at my local retro store for under $50 so if you can find it I recommend it. Some advice I can give in advance is DON'T run on the grass because grass deteriorates like crazy. Villagers don't give you photos when you befriend them but holidays removed from Wild World return.
This is such a relaxing style of video! It makes me feel like I'm sitting next to a friend, watching them play on a quiet Sunday morning. Please do more!
men I have forgot how good the aura of playing old animal crossing games feel😭 specially city folk and gamecube are my favourite, I just feel really good vibes when I play them on the mornings, but Ive been really into mario maker 1 recently so I didnt have time to enter it, this video has reminded me that I should play them more often
City Folk was my fav - I remember i watched all of your wifi moment videos. Playing museum tag with Bonnie looks super fun. I bought a USB keyboard so i could type in game just like you would do
My older brother got a Wii for Christmas 2008 and I got a Gameboy. He also got city folk and we played the shit out of that game. I would wake up at like 5 am every school day to play before my brother woke up.
The fact you have both Mint AND Roscoe in your town is kinda surreal to me; I had them both in my New Leaf town and they were always put into scenarios together - one lost an item at the others' house, villagers saying they saw them doing something together, things like that! Roscoe ended up moving out without my consent and I couldn't send him to a friend's town because the Nintendo online service at the time was under maintenance! I resent my New Leaf town for that, but it made me adore Mint and Roscoe as villagers, separately or together! I plan on reuniting them in my (second) New Horizons island eventually because I have their amiibo cards, and they WILL be neighbors again :)
Hey Jeff, love your videos and your blog. Would you consider doing more night gameplay sessions in this style? I find them very relaxing to fall asleep to. No big deal either way :)
Thanks! Yes, once July comes, I'll be posting another nighttime bug hunting session. In the meantime, feel free to watch (or re-watch) the one I made last year: ruclips.net/video/2-ytpCQd_9I/видео.html.
You have an empire. I didn't know that path on the floor actually existed, or wait, are those designs you made? Not just these though, all those threes, the position of the houses, the golden roses, like whut. I played for more than 7 years lmao😭
They appear when the pointer is on-screen, so just make sure the Wii remote isn't pointed at the screen (or more specifically, the sensor bar) as you play. You may want to hold the Wii remote at an angle, either to the side or down a bit.
Well they are pretty rare, and also it's easy to not notice them if you're not normally shopping for tools. I know if I both of my tools that day weren't nets, I probably wouldn't have noticed (like if it was a silver net and a regular fishing rod). But if you keep an eye out each day, you'll eventually find them there (at least the net, rod, and slingshot).
It's been over 20 years and countless Japan exclusives have already come to the US, just give us E+ Nintendo! Remove the E-Reader stuff and release it as Animal Crossing Remastered or something! One of Jeff's favorites, Lolly, first appeared in E+ too!

i play this game daily too! i watch ur videos a lot too. great crochet content (not to generalize you.. bc ur awesome and definitely distinct) 💟
sorry this sound so corny haha but genuinely i barely know of anyone at all who still maintains their towns.

Glad you enjoy them! 😊
I agree. These are very soothing
@@jvgsjeffwill you do more summer bug hunting sessions?
Yes, at least one...probably in early July. I love my late-night summer bug hunting sessions! 😊
14 years later and you're still making videos, this is pure nostalgia.

Also you watering Grizzly’s head is so funny to me, I used to do that all the time to my villagers

I always think of your channel when I play this game now. My current town turned 5 this year!❤
I love these long gameplay videos 😁 they're so chill ♡ I hope you more of them in the future 🙂
Thank you so much for your content Jeff, you’re amazing! I have your blog bookmarked on my phone.
Thank you! 😊
Love to see Grizzly! I missed him since he moved out of my NL town. Especially 24:10 & 25:38 so cute!

I even remember when Axel lived in my town...
I be snoozing to this it's the best
1:30 is that town tune from a Legend of Zelda game? Because it sounds like something from the games
No, it's actually the airship theme from Final Fantasy VII. But I do use Zelda town tunes sometimes, usually Saria's Song/Lost Woods.
@@jvgsjeff oh okay
How do you manage to play without the menu in the screen?? Like the icons of the map and inventory! I would like yo play without them

How is there a silver net in nooks?! Do you have to do something specific for it to be there?
I don't believe you have to do anything specific, other than upgrading Nook's shop at least once.
