Man... hearing this again and seeing everyone’s comments... been a while but thank you all for your love and appreciation. My dad, Mark Holz, passed away 11.5 years ago now but to still see people watching and commenting on this is amazing!! \m/ !!!
Vinnie, We rocked many stages together, Your Dad had great stage presence and a killer voice, these songs reflect the hard work that was put in by the band and I'm glad they are being listened to by people everywhere now and still appreciated
Blue collar, Harley Davidson riding, working class heavy metal assault to ear drums! This is for those whose steel ears could handle the pounding of the heavy metal sound!
He's busting ass for a living On the forty-fifth floor The cold winds howling Got one foot in the door He only wants an honest day's pay For a good day's work This life is gaonna kill him Those around him, they fear the worst He tries to be the man they want to see, but Somehow he never gets it right Don't want to see him fry, Don't want to see him die The feel of the cold steel The hammers pound Breaks out in a cold sweat Three hundred feet off the ground But at five o'clock they hit the bars And have a drink or ten And when he thinks it's over Some fool tells him it never ends But he's steady on the steel The way he lives, it's the way he feels He's steady on the steel You're steady on the steel The way you live, it's the way you're feeling You're steady on the steel His blood starts pumping When he hears the roar The hammers pounding On his front door But when he thinks it's finally over and It's gonna end Someone goes and pulls the plug and He has to start all over again But he's steady on the steel The way he lives, it's the way he feels He's steady on the steel You're steady on the steel The way you live, it's the way you're feeling You're steady on the steel
I was 16 with a fake ID the first time I saw these Guys at the Jabberwocky...Was hooked ever since and saw them every-time they played! One of, if not THE best metal band from Milwaukee, WI!
Classic Milwaukee metal. One of these guys must have been an iron worker, the lyrics perfectly depict the life of a blue collar, beer drinkin', Harley ridin' dude. Reminds me of guys I went to highschool with in 1980's Milwaukee, thanks for posting!!

They used play to Groups like Blacklist, Cutthroat, Problem Child, on 93QFM and Lazar 103. I used to live in Milwaukee back in the summers of 1975 & 1976. True Classic Power Metal! Where can you a copy of the 4 song EP? I have friend form Minneapolis, MN cannot believe Milwaukee produced some great Heavy Mental Bands! Rock On Milwaukee, from 93QFM! Great FM Stereo radio!
Blacklist- I remember listening to Metalshop on the radio waiting for "No Rest For The Wicked". What a jam! It's got that raw, underground, powerful sound. You made Milwaukee proud.
I had the first haircut like that, not you. If this is who it should be, your wife rocked a killer red leather mini skirt. That and you f'n know about the haircut. Thanks for the Silver Mountain album.

MISS THIS TIME❤
He's busting ass for a living
On the forty-fifth floor
The cold winds howling
Got one foot in the door
He only wants an honest day's pay
For a good day's work
This life is gaonna kill him
Those around him, they fear the worst
He tries to be the man they want to see, but
Somehow he never gets it right
Don't want to see him fry,
Don't want to see him die
The feel of the cold steel
The hammers pound
Breaks out in a cold sweat
Three hundred feet off the ground
But at five o'clock they hit the bars
And have a drink or ten
And when he thinks it's over
Some fool tells him it never ends
But he's steady on the steel
The way he lives, it's the way he feels
He's steady on the steel
You're steady on the steel
The way you live, it's the way you're feeling
You're steady on the steel
His blood starts pumping
When he hears the roar
The hammers pounding
On his front door
But when he thinks it's finally over and
It's gonna end
Someone goes and pulls the plug and
He has to start all over again
But he's steady on the steel
The way he lives, it's the way he feels
He's steady on the steel
You're steady on the steel
The way you live, it's the way you're feeling
You're steady on the steel

Mike Stone from Queen's Ryche picked up Rongo Pyne in a band called The Law.
