The show was a blast. I do not regret the flight or accepting the invitations I was given. It was fantastic to finally meet you and see your table (Ron's setup was really nice too!) and I'm already excited for next year. New Venue? Different layout? Same funky power issues? We'll find out!
Thank you again so much for your help setting up all that Mac stuff! I still can't believe we cleared out that whole table except for one lonely Performa 600!
11:31 - Free Pile Madness! This pile was only feet from my table all weekend, and it NEVER looked the same from one minute to the next! Excellent video and excellent capturing! Thank you...
Great coverage! I was one of the folks that helped Jason and co. move some of the free pile outside. By the end of setup on Friday, the free area was so overflowing with stuff and junk that we were being asked to do something about it because it became a fire hazard -- you couldn't even get outside. So we had to move it all out on that sidewalk the night before. Apologies to the vendor that set up nearby -- we didn't expect anyone to be putting together a booth anywhere near it.
Seeing these large vintage computer festivals and meets in the US makes me so jealous with both the small population and distance issues with being in Australia. Great video!
That show was an absolute blast. It was my first time going (I see myself at multiple points in this video) and I definitely want to go again, and again and again! Even though i dragged COVID back home from this show, it was still worth it.
@@Mac84 it does. It screams 70s. I realized I probably wasn't going to get to restoring it and if I need a terminal, any of the computers I have laying around will do. So it would be better off going to a fellow collector.
Hi! Unfortunately the logistics of shipping it from Spain to the US wouldn’t make this ideal. However, I’d suggest you check our places like the LowEndMac Facebook group or TinkerDifferent.com
Wonderful video, Steve!
Thank you 😊

Always nice to chat with you at VCFMW and thanks for linking my video!
Thanks for making those of us that couldn’t make it even more jealous! 🤣 (seriously, very nice synopsis, thank you!)

That Peter & Carl's booth left me speechless. It's a Mac horn of plenty!

Awesome recap video sir!
Great video Steve.
I was the one that donated the bidding war terminal @14:30 . I guessed it was going to fetch maybe 200 dollars and was floored it ended around 600!
Nice! Yeah I was taken aback at that - it looked really cool even though I knew nothing about it.

🍌🍌 It was bananas! 🍌🍌
For a while I was thinking about starting some kind of game every time he said Ball Room. :)
Lick a dead PRAM battery every time!
Does not have to be dead either. :)@@Mac84
FYI, you said there would be a link in the video description, and it's not there. 🙂
Eep - which link did I miss? I’d be happy to add it.
@@Mac84 I don't remember exactly, but I think it was something about going over your pickups from the free pile.
@rhuwyn ah yes, my precious live stream. Just added it - thanks 👍

@@Mac84 Thanks for the advice Steve, but how much would you pay for a machine like this? I really don't know what price to put on it.
