Mirage is the top picked map in my experience on Faceit. It's also the map that the least players know how to play. The experience of asking for short smokes and site flashes and nobody knows how to do it properly is exhilarating.
Very good and informative video, but if you throw those far away flashes, the enemy players' monitors will only quickly blink white even if they look straight at it, instead of being actually flashed. Of course it might work as a decoy if you're solo pushing places, but not as much if you're actually trying to kill someone with the flash
These high flashes have one flaw. They blind the opponent for a very brief moment. It is useful for the mid AWPer to get into position, but other than that it gives an insignificant advantage.
I play short in mirage so what I would usually do is deep molly and then go to arches to listen for footsteps. If I hear a scope, I inform the b player and he dunks a deep nade and does a lot of damage to the sniper. In case of a rush, I throw flashes and he throws a molly and smoke to stop them on their track.

Yeah. 7:10, I play cat a lot and when I think about it, I never really see anyone throwing support flashes on a from short besides me in my matches. I always thought it was a somewhat obvious thing to do if you want your teammates alive.
This video is great but we all know it doesn't work if you're the only one on the team that has an idea of what the heck to do. To do all of this (especially those CT flashes from the other side of the map) you need coordination and knowledge that for us solo queuers is impossible to find. :(

This is a good video to keep in mind for pugging BUT what you don't talk about is when the other team learns that your focusing middle hard. then it is pretty easy as a t side to just contact b and get site control if your playing together. and after this it gets into cts brains that your getting into b and you will let go of mid control again.

Im going to do a fun little back and fourth opinion battle with you here! 1. A players flashing mid is a "for sure" thing if your awper have a bad spawn and decides to go peek anyway, what i find most of the time versus good players is that, no T player will ever go out mid just to die with a bad spawn. They will always smoke it first, the flash is almost always rendered useless. What i do is call for the flash only if im going to peek with the best spawn, thats the only time you will be able to kill someone, and that person if usually only another best spawn awper. 2. Your A hold i dont agree with in anyway, not cause i think it's wrong but because i am a very passive player, i strongly believe in retaking A on mirage, i think its one of the easiest sites to retake in the game. But this comes down to playstyle of the players, so i dont think one way is the only way ^^ Sorry to be annoying! I love discussing cs with anyone and everyone :'D

I just want to add that the A player shouldn't throw the mid flash at the early of the round but the connector player because if the A player throw the mid flash the molly will come out late and that expose the A guy the guy running to the connector vulnerable to a fast A rush. Even if the A player throw the molly first, T's can still stand on the flame and get a quick shot but rushes would be harder to follow, therefore reinforcing he A site early round defense. Because mid flash should be thrown quickly and you don't want your connector player using the molly early, I always tell my teammates to do this on a default: - A player throws molly and watch for over aggressive push. - Connector player throws the flash then be careful for A rush.

Yeah, I mean sure, this could be good if every random in cs saw this. But as far as team construct. Many values hold true. But you're relying on so much default play, many do not apply in high level (pro) play.
I feel this works for 5 stacks, I've never played a faceit level 10 though but I hover the LEM rank and sol or duo que and it feels like aim duels mainly, just my opinion though
5:20 this is lowkey wrong at times, bc all ct does in cs is rush. Noone camps at bombsite to Get an advantage. Too many players rush as ct and die early making the entire round go to shits
Anyone else whos average at this game (currently level 8 faceit) go through his very basic videos where it explains why you're bad hoping you get better from the advice
Idk I'm the player on mirage that rushes palace every single round regardless of side, I've only seen B site like 5 times. So I might be bad at mirage idk
I dont know about all of this lol. Its really more about what the enemy gives you. What their perceivable weaknesses and patterns are. I dont like to use too much utility because it gives too much information. Both in the localized sense and in the macro sense where you give away your play style instead of being more liquid and unreadable. I dont want the enemy to realize I do complex things because they will get free info about my ability to play. I want that perception to unravel slowly over the course of play (in a way that i can micro manage with mind games building up to realizing) not right away. I pretty much always go A and mid. B is too much of a choke point of death. I always change up my patterns and adapt to the enemy patterns. Whatever they give. Not what i want to do. I generally think what would be the last thing they want me to do and then do it. Sometimes thats go mid every time, sometimes its going around the back and flanking when they dont go somewhere often enough etc.
anything in solo Q is all bout better aiming. all the strategy stuff is just extra. when playing T-side i love facing agro CT players. that's giving up position for free . and as a ct-player i love when T- are split up means there is not trades when i kill them. IMO.

Them: 4 players on A.
Good information. What about hitting the murderhole bunnyhop though and how that affects timings?
Anyone else whos average at this game (currently level 8 faceit) go through his very basic videos where it explains why you're bad hoping you get better from the advice
First rule of mirage: play Dust II deagle only
I think we knew this video was coming after his comments from the last demo review vid
Idk I'm the player on mirage that rushes palace every single round regardless of side, I've only seen B site like 5 times. So I might be bad at mirage idk
Bold of you to asume that mm players are that good
@voo CSGO you got any video's explaining how to self boost or even this video window to cat jump?
Bruh just google it u clown
Nerd, just kill them
anything in solo Q is all bout better aiming. all the strategy stuff is just extra. when playing T-side i love facing agro CT players. that's giving up position for free . and as a ct-player i love when T- are split up means there is not trades when i kill them. IMO.
Wrong, especially on maps like Inferno
these videos are sure good but in these ranks playing solo or duo que MM this just will never work until you get into higher ranks perhaps
“Tossing a molly into palace” x2
Holy shit, I need a team to be practicing these. Not randos who don't put in the work.
Something I like to do is throw a one way onto a ramp and hold it aggressively, any thoughts?
