"His teammate gets knifed and they lose the round; but he could not have played that any better" This was the hardest thing for me. Obviously there's always room for improvement, but sometimes you just have to accept that you can't carry every game. Sometimes you're going to make mistakes and win, other times you can do everything right and still lose. Its just a part of life
For me , he could have just not played the duel on the guy that jumped from stairs, this is some greed duel here... Just let him push the site and try to play him 2v1 instead of just play your 1v1 and eventually leave you teammate in a 1v1 aswell....
no but that is such a shit mindset to have "he couldnt have played it any better", like he clearly could have, by not missing so many shots, at least thinking like that helped me reach global, like just simply never blame games on your teammates unless they are literally trolling you, and dont think someone is cheating for simply being better, practice more than you play comp and you will just keep improving.
You can't even guarantee in a 1v1 game you'll do everything right and win either. Sometimes that's because the enemy is better, and sometimes it's just because you got unlucky. Moving on from that and learning is the hardest part.
This video + your tips really brought to light some of my glaring issues so i for sure will take what you've said and hopefully try working out the kinks in my gameplay, huge thanks again for all the help!
instead of making him jumpspot in the safest way possible through the small gap in the window, you could just tell him to practice doing the normal jumpspot but showing less of his body by jumping earlier from the right side on the lower ground. Pros might be able to hit the shot but globals or the average faceit player is gonna have a really hard time unless you keep jumping when spotted.
yeah i actually forgot to specifically tell him he was doing the jump spot badly when i told him his issues initially. bit of artistic liberties in the edit. he actually figured that out and fixed it between games himself and i mentioned it later

@@johnnyll91 Wrong. There is absolutely no need to not do stuff you know won't get you killed. That jumpspot pretty much never gets you killed sub 3K elo, and 99.9% of players will never make it there. And the jumpspot is way better than the one back at truck because you can see the enemy way earlier. By the way, pro players also do that jumpspot, even though sometimes someone hits that shot.
@@44r0n-9 idk never played csgo at a low level basicly started after 10k+ hours 1.6, multiple offline events and uncountable amounts of online tournaments. But I see no reason to not play every duel and decision like your opponent is good at the game. Taking bad decisions because u can get away with it i just dont understand. Only comparison i can take with that would be if you know the offline event is realy loud like Dreamhack and u know u can run more than usual, but that's playing that specific environment.
Really like the analogy of having skill points you can try to apply to different attributes. It's important to remember that someone multiple levels above you aren't doing some godlike things - it's all about tweaking the areas you know you can improve on and the results will (or should) come naturally.
Zeio to me looked like exactly the kind of DM-aim you'd expect from a lower player. He can hit crazy shots because he's grinded DM for hundreds of hours but lacks consistent crosshair placement across the map and doesn't properly clear angles one by one (see 2:00 onward)
Been watching you since ~2016 and just realised don't think I've ever said how much I love watching your videos, even just for entertainment and scrap the educational value! Thanks dude
I enjoy these videos - but - tbh I don't give a d@mn about my rank anymore. I was Supreme/Global for 5+ years.. the last year I mainly played faceit though - ranked up to lvl8. Now, when I played MMaking I got a new rank: DMG. so.. yeah. I'll just focus on faceit.
yeah that's fair. i'm LEM in mm atm it doesn't really matter. as a general rule, Global Elite (especially in europe) is Faceit 6/7. sometimes you see globals at Faceit 5 but it's rare to see someone at faceit 8 or above that can't get global if they want
@@vooCSGO are you sure that is still true? they dropped a bunch of ranks to players. had a silver 3 who was MGE at some point. i started playing a bit more this year. and before i ranked up every 12-15 games and got to GN. then i tumbled down quite fast about every 3 games (with latest VAC ban waves and with leetify shwoing them i now maybe know why) to silver elite. then they assigned new ranks and my new rank was/is silver 3. it has been like this for 19 games now. and i can see a lot of descent players. checking them out later on stat pages it reveals they used to be GN3 or 4 before the rank updates. and it is fun playing with or against them. but then i also play against a lot of unranked or players that just got their silver 1 rank. and it just seems a bit unfair to them. if they are on my team i try to teach them and got quite a few commendations. i am mostly just playing a couple of games per week for fun. i am very old in CS:GO terms. and my reflexes are not as they used to be, i get sleepy during the game, frequent bathroom breaks... 🙂 i don't want to be global but silver elite master seemed like a cosy place to me before the rank move. So this is my goal for this year. rank up 2 or 3 times max..
I feel the flexibility inside a game watching whats happening and being able to react a certain way to stop the enemy’s advancement is something to be counted aswell
its not Moonleafs aim, its his utility usage that made me think he is global. He is quick to use his util effectively. Zeio was not as good on the util in the first videos
I have been global for years and I'm not on the faceit grind. currently in the midst of level 7 and it still feels quite doable for me... Through playing so much faceit I had the chance to improve a lot more than through just playing mm and I have seen many players reach global who struggle in lower faceit levels against players that I would probably guess at DMG/LE. It also really depends on the region that you play in I guess. But over all I'd say that as long as you have somewhat of an understanding of whats going on in the game and you make the right rotations at the right time you should be able to get global easily
And this is the beauty of csgo - there are some players that exclusively play casual but in reality are better individually then global or lvl10 facit. So what makes this different? There is a ton to look out for, but in particular order: -patience that only comes from experience -movement -actual aim -utility usage -map knowledge -awareness Fuuck, add to that adjusting one's gameplay due to the kind of teammates you have to deal with. Sometimes these clips don't always tell the whole story. Still a nice video idea and interesting to watch - thanks! PS - people will also have a different idea of what 'global good' is. Anyways, I just smoked a joint, excuse the long read 😂
I would absolutely love to submit a demo and get feedback. Was even considering trying the bootcamp but my 3rd shift schedule works against me. I feel like I struggle similarly where my aim can only carry me so far and I don't know what my problems are in terms of positioning, movement, etc because training that is much harder. That's exactly what I've been told by higher level players but not like they're giving me any real info on how to do better
Jump spotting B apps is mandatory if you want to have a chance at throwing utility when T:s push, and you won't see a single pro game in mirage where a solo b holder won't at some point of the game jump spot b apps. They will use a knife, and jump earlier so they will only see a quick glimpse of the actual apps, and sometimes go to the far left corner to jump, but it's enough to see if anyone's there.
True or False: If I'm on a team of gold nova 2's and we have a hard-fought victory and then after the game ends we find out the entire enemy team is LEM+, we're automatically LEM+ right?
The funniest part is that reaching global is just the start, then comes the 3rd party sites. And now being at 2400 elo on faceit, my mm rank has dropped to LE because I simply couldn’t care less about it
5:18 that spot is easy to jump spot safely. from left to right into the spot and then find the 5 frames spot you can spot into aps. You get away while peeking. So you wont see them pushing you and are stuck at car with 3 nades coming. And you get safe info. If you get hs there that has nothing to do with rank but luck.
You can never tell peoples rank based on aim. Game-sense, movement and using utility correctly are the ones that tell you if a player is good. Though I must admit that people at GE still lack these things more often than not. I like the point you make, that you should play off of your own strengths. If you have that DM grind aim and you like to be aggressive, then play entry. But if you can make sure that you can clutch every 1v1 and 1v2 thrown at you, then maybe try to play in positions that enable you to be the last man alive while not baiting your team.
Lets face it: MM ranks don't matter at all, they were broken before the update in most regions, after the update they're broken everywhere, including EU. If you want to play 5v5 competitive, don't bother with MM or at least ignore the ranks (and the cheater on their trash accs).
Guys I just want to explain MoonLeifs name. His name is a playoff on a "Moonleafs shadow" and the KKona Scandinavion name "Leif". If you imagine an american cowboy and translate that to a swedish handsome lumberjack man, Leif is the name to pick. Thanks and hope you found this interesting.
2:00 crosshair flicked on first kill following it for a sec straight (reasonable) 2:11 flicks onto guy in apps entry 2:12 crosshair flicks on second kill following it trough the wall (reasonable but wierd that it happened twice) 2:16 he flicks onto guy in ladder (strange why would he not flick into the corner) its easier to see if you watch the whole clip in x25 slowmo as an ex global elite, just from that one clip, id say its a coincidence - but judging by the fact that hes kinda low elo (mge) and its matchmaking id report him for walling just to make sure
I just achieved global yesterday after 3.4k hours and 1000+ comp games and faceit lvl 7. I still see glaring errors in game play, and am trying to get better about effective flashbangs and positioning. The grind never stops lol
I’m currently a Silver 2 and I see very often people in my games complaining about shit teammates (which in fairness, is valid in some cases) and saying they should be DMG or GE or whatever. I think I should be somewhere in Gold Nova, but I’m very much stuck in Silver. On days where I have time (5 days a week average I’d say) I’ll spend around an hour working on my spray control, crosshair placement, nades etc in practice maps - which I very much doubt the majority of people who claim they should be Global do - and then I play a few comp games. I top frag every game, I have above average stats for a Gold Nova 1 on Leetify, I manage the team as much as possible by calling the strats etc (but it’s kinda pointless when 80% of people in my rank don’t even bother with headphones…) I think people really need to understand the difference between a Silver/Gold Nova and a Global Elite. Global Elite isn’t just a title, it’s an exceptionally accurate description of the playerbase within it. They’re the best of the best - for the most part. A Silver jumping to GE is a death sentence, I would love a chance to actually make my way up the ladder towards GE but sadly if you get placed in Silver, you’re genuinely looking at YEARS of work just to get to MG. I’m not just saying that either, I can perform exceptionally in 5 games and not rank up, but 1 game against an LEM who domes me every round and I derank. Idk how I’m expected to improve when I’m only ever put against potatoes or people who outclass me in every way. CSGO really needs to rework the MMR system, that is the main problem. Not people saying they’re the best when they’re not.
I have better stats than the "average" global on leetify right now, Except aim which was because my high ass sensitivity which cause inconsistency. Been focusing on fixing it, ranked up 3 times in the last 2 days! Almost global!
Hey Voo, thanks for the vid. What would you say that NA Global would equate to now in Faceit level after the rank reset? Previously you mentioned that EU Global is right around Faceit 5 or 6. After the rank reset I’m placed into DMG/LE and I’ve been facing a lot of Faceit 7s and 8s in my games (usually LEM and Supreme). Is it possible that even after the rank reset, NA ranks are still a little deflated compared to EU ranks?
EU player here. When I was playing on global a couple weeks before, I regularly played against 5 stacks with at least 3 faceit 10s with 2500-3000+ elo. On the other hand, now Im playing on lem and my enemies seem to be mainly faceit 3, with sometimes a lvl 5 or 8 sprinkled in. It dont think there is a consistant way to compare both.
can't really say. i can only say with decent confidence what faceit rank global in EU is because i've had so many demos submitted over such a long period of time + leetify gave me some data at some point as well (it's faceit 6/7 roughly, but obviously there's variance). NA.. who knows
I'm level 8 faceit and I actually struggle to get back into global when I lose it mm is actually difficult bro no joke I also think they aim pretty damn well I'm surprised by some of the shots hit Edit: finally got back to it today lol
solo player who use to be semipro about to play pro on source but retired due to studys during 5 years then I came back and I play around 2500 - 3000 elo , solo playing mostly now. I could tell in my opinion the guy hiting the good deagle shots was the Global. Also jump spoting B on mirage still good to do only in a better way pressing control and just showing tiny bit of ur body, and ofc with smoke ready to scape and nade to follow then u playing back near forest/bench
Ngl it's always so interesting to sorta see globals play cuz like it really makes ya realize like it's really not ain that's holding you back. Sure, there's some aim related habits, such as panic spraying, that can be a big deal. But utility and movement is what your leaps n bounds behind on.
I played ak/colt/autosniper and became global on 5v5 and Wingman, took about 12 days total and then i quit cuz COD (at the time) was better and faster.
Coming back to csgo recently I can tell that the NA scene has drastically shrunk, at least in MM. (I don't play enough for 3rd party services to be worth) I've seen people LEM-Global that should be placed in AT MOST, MG. I'm talking about staring at the ground when running around kind've bad, had a guy that didn't know any callouts on dust 2 but he was LEM; somehow we still won that game...
As a csgo player for a very very very long time, since 1.5 actually, i can tell that there are so many things in game that a global does but lower ranks have nothing to do about it, "pop-flash", "giggle peaking", "one way smokes", taking fights that u are ready to (like staying behind cover, isolating fights to 1v1) and so many little things that do the difference.. I can go on and on about that, so many skills for a real skilled player. Some players are not getting more skill and their ranks is basically the same (Nova-LE) CSGO is great but soooooooo many cheaters that makes this game sucks, thanks VALVE.
Skill group system is just broken. I am a GN 1 and I've carried 2 MGs on my team by a relatively big margin (not just frags, but HLTV rating as well). In the other games, I've lost to silvers badly. Some people deserve more and the others less.
The thing with MGE's is, they can look really good while hitting nutty shots, the difference with Globals most of the time is they are way more composed and have better gamesense. That's why I immediatly knew that Zeio was the MGE.
@@mariushager9983 nah, consistency isn't a thing in cs. Me talking i am LE who faces LEMS Supreme and globals is probably the peeks. When i was MGE and faced other MGs, the peeks are widely different. They were slower, closer to the wall and easier to hit. The movement I think is what separates the players and positioning. Like, MGE'a can have crazy aim but if they have bad peeks its useless which is why they are still MGE
Globals finished tutorial, LVl 10 Did advanced tutorial. For example lvl 10 eu 2.2k elo people finally start doing strats and everything a bit more tactical.know some flashes etc
The movement made it obvious to me. Definitely the counter strafing and peeking corners (+ angle clearing) is much better with moon than Zeio. For example Zeio at 2:03 was obvious his movement wasn’t as refined
I could tell which one is which from like 1:00. You just dont jump like that in pro games, it gives too much time for AWP/Scout/AK to kill you in the air... You are trying to jump from the plan so only a small portion of your head is visible to the enemy.
i met a lot of people with crazy aim, utilities and skills, but lack game sense, very rigid gameplay, and are predictable, 9/10 times i would win against these people nor lose if they are on my team haha, i think what makes you truly deserve the top rank is the embodiment of the latter characteristics rather the first, even with a inconsistent efficient aim, i truly saw a lot of people who relies too much on setting up smokes, flash without adhering to utilize pace, lurk, timing, enemy positions efficiency, and awareness of the enemy, to me MoonLeif deserved to be a Global, and i already knew he was Global before it was revealed, you always have to able to utilize your skills to a point it became an instinct, because the reaction will be faster and more stable, plus you can provide more impact for any duels you encountered
half of the smokes and flashes moonleaf uses are pretty standard to me tbh. and i am one fucked up eagle player - just spend some time playing in teams and learned them for our GOs and whatnot. pretty usefull overall and I believe nade usuage is a big reason why I am eagle (and sometimes supreme) bc my aim is inconsistent af (i refuse to to aim pracc tho, simply bc I dont feel like it X))
The hardest part of getting Global Elite is consistently getting matched with other people who don't suck. You could be the best player in the world, and it'd still be almost impossible to rank up to Global without a good team behind you. According to Leetify my skills are all around SMFC, but I'm stuck in Nova... I'm consistently top fragging in my games and getting 1.5+ k/ds but that doesn't mean shit if the rest of my team sucks. I've even versed full Global/Supreme teams and still easily held my own against them (why MM is putting me up against them in the first place is beyond me)
MM ranks are worthless because they don't include personal performance. I started playing with silver friends and over some months I deranked down to MG2 while they ranked up to MG2 because we play all games together, win and lose together but because of the ranks of the enemies (which are higher than theirs and lower than mine) the glicko2.0 points given and taken vary a lot. And now we're all MG2 while they get 4 frags and I get 30 frags on average etc. pp. MM ranks should heavily include personal performance. Util damage, entry frag success rate, adr, kpr, kd etc. but it doesn't.
I’m guessing it’s because the enemies is ‘easy’ for your rank so you get less reward for winning and more pushniment when you lose a game. Yes MM is that broken, I’ve seen countless friends who won 7 LEM games in a row with positive rating and only 1 game to deranked back to LE simply because he lost to DMGs.
As a global the skill difference and luck involved in getting there is massive if you go up against hackers repeatedly even if you are very good you will not gain any ranks. And even if you reach global you won’t be facing anything much different from supreme until you climb further up the ladder. Elo hell of solo carry and elo hell of hackers are the main obstacles in reaching global. most people with a few thousand hours can reach global with some time investment
2:30 It's weird for a B solo player does not have armor or molly on a high-rank game, knowing the eco of the opposed team is not that great. But what can I say, being GE means you're just a decent player and lucky. In my region, MM are stacked with spinners and griefers.
after being stuck at eagle for a year with a 90% winrate global doesnt feel very satisfying now tbh. the games are just as easy as they were before and the rank imbalance isnt great. when i do play mm anymore its a 5 global lobby vs a mixture of globals going all the way down to gold novas and they often will be solo qeueued. don't play much mm anymore atm though since league playoffs are around the corner
I am currently MGE - previously LEM. I have played 2300 hours, I have 600 MM wins, I play faceit, and I am lvl 1 with 1.1kdr average over 250 games, I know kills don't mean everything in the rounds, as you can tell I can rank up in match making, But for some reason when Im playing faceit, I feel as if the elo system tries to evenly create teams, I get a lot of people higher level then me with negative kdr and low average kills per game.... If you'd like to give me some pointers as to why this could be I would appreciate it so much. Also I understand the concept between high impact kills & actually playing rounds without worrying about how many kills come from it, making sure you play the round correctly, I actually do try a lot of this & I still can't seem to break the barrier. I feel as if my carrying skills aren't strong enough to rank past this, but my over all game play is always good when matched with higher levels, If I play with higher levels, I still have average games & feel great. but when im with people my own level, I feel as if I am playing with a group of kids who don't really want to try....
I played cs 1.6 for about all my life 15K hours. I started csgo in 2018 and im only mge, because some of my friends are gold nova 2 max. My wingman rank is global, I always win because its easy to play against 2 players. I think I have around ~200 wins and 1-2 loses. Ranks doesnt matter that much in this game. One of my friends is faceit lvl 9/10, we play very similar. I think rainbow six strategy and cs 1.6 spray and movements helped me a lot. Im not going for global elite. My goal I think is to be red in trust factor cuz everyone reports me....
Greetings from Estonia voo! I have a problem with ranking up from MG. In my thought i play pretty good, i also communicate with team (info only, sometimes funnsies) and i never ever got higher than MGE. I would really aprreciate your help. Love your videos, learning much from them. Ty❤
Not taking a dig at you (not even a subtle one), but I love how you say MoonLeaf instead of MoonLife (Leif is a name, and pretty much sounds like Life - At least in Danish) 😁
I'm betting moonleif, I have a core believe that it doesn't matter what it is, in anything the most important part is consistency, feel like it's moon here
Im mg1 and only thing I notice different is that I know how to use util and my teammates dont as well as even though I top frag my lobbies, these guys have better aim by a little bit.
The difference between silver and global is large, but there are outliers. I’ve seen silver players (friends that I know aren’t smurfs) that like to troll, and play solo often, that play like a bottom tier global player. I’m LEM myself, and I’ve gotten absolutely outplayed and outsmarted by silvers/GNs plenty of times. Some people just don’t play competitively, don’t take time to learn rotations, smokes, flashes etc and don’t rank up, but have stupid high hours and god tier gun skill at the silver/GN ranks.
You dont learn god tier gun skills without actually taking the time to train properly, the only thing you'll do if you have stupid high hours playing mm is hit a ceiling, yes of course you'll get good, but you'll hit a ceiling and you wont get better than that, because you develop bad habits and you need to actually take the time to train your aim and spray patters and counter strafing if you want to actually get good
As a global elite I can say that I have worse aim that some DMG players, but I have better teamplay and gamesense than most DMG. So I think basically you need to be good at most things but not everything.
It’s exciting to reach global for the first time but in MM most players at that level cheat. A good learning path after I reach ge is to start playing face it
Jump spotting B apartments is very good and hard to punish if you know what youre doing💀 Didnt quite understand but hopefully nobody takes it as advise against doing it.
Jump spotting on B apps is good as long as you dont jump spotting that badly than that first example, just like voo did show if you have any decent aim it's easy kill if you jump spotting badly.
as someone who transitioned from rocket league (ps4) to csgo (first pc game) the ranks are so confusing, how am i supposed to know how good a Distinguished Master Guardian Elite Eagle Global Legend is lol.
Im playing solo q and im as LEM better than the most global elite Player i get on My Team this globals 2k23 are All boosted or what ever that is a scam...
I'm MG carried a Global a few times and LE multiple times. Seen them played like GNs. Most of them just have a good aim sometimes and no games sense at all.
6:45 he's also shooting way too fast with pistols. It's like he's panicking and hoping a shot will hit. If he tap fired and aimed correctly he'd have a much better chance at getting kills.
on 8:42 instead of playing the pistol should he had got back inside the smoke walk back to stairs and re peek that or instead of stairs jungle or having the pistol was better?
I was recently overwatch banned despite the fact that I don't use cheats. I know I'm going to get many toxic comments like "cheater down" and "lmao noob cheater XD XD" but seriously, I wasn't hacking. The very last game I played was on faceit and we won 16-0, I think they got mad and report botted me, and some new overwatch reviewers were put on the case and thought I was aim botting or something, I was getting very decent headshots on that day, over 80%, and they weren't playing too good, they were very predictable, maybe it looked like I was wall hacking because I would wait for someone who kept going the same way? None of what I say matters, you cant appeal overwatch bans and im still going to get comments telling me to go hang myself but theres nothing i can really do.
If anyone is watching this video and they feel like they aren't in the rank they deserve, you probably aren't, The ranking system is f'd I have won 15 games in a row, ranked up to supreme (finally) played two games and lost (deranking back to LEM). Played one game (ranked up) lost two more (no derank). Like wth?
DMG - low Global is pretty much the same. Depends more on communication which is way easier playing with full stack knowing what ur friends do most of the time. Bigger differences in movement and utility start to come with strong globals 7-8+ faceit. Rank system is just fucked these days cuz so many peoples play on 3rd party platforms instead of mm. Feels like LEM is the easiest rank these days the MG1-MGE games are just full of lvl 10 smurfs. And well global is 50/50 if you get mm or high faceit lvl globals against you.
Yeah rank dont really matter on mm, i play lots of with same friends and first we can won 16-0 against mge players that feels like silvers just to lose next game 3-16 because enemy team is between faceit level 6-10

also zeio and MLShadow didn't ask to be in the video they just happened to be in the game, and I wouldn't have put them in except in a positive light so please don't say anything negative about them.
note: they were both roughly the same faceit rank i would expect for their mm rank, so i don't believe zeio was just smurfing

His aim isn't good
since when is hitting a normal one tap a insane shot XD

Biggest indicator of Spot The Global to me was consistent good utility usage on the fly.
There is a ton to look out for, but in particular order:
-patience that only comes from experience
-movement
-actual aim
-utility usage
-map knowledge
-awareness
Fuuck, add to that adjusting one's gameplay due to the kind of teammates you have to deal with.
Love how Zeio peeked out of market in the beginning and was right on that T on short behind the building, lol
That jumpspotting at B-site was something coldzera did against Liquid.
Are you calling coldzera a noob?
Great video, the last minute was probably the best insight in the whole video
I have been global, but I haven't been playing mm frequently.
In my mm games now there is Faceit 10 with LEM and Faceit 3 with global.
Well between Zeio and Moonleif it is obvious.
Zeio is GE
and Moon = MGE
Guys I just want to explain MoonLeifs name. His name is a playoff on a "Moonleafs shadow" and the KKona Scandinavion name "Leif". If you imagine an american cowboy and translate that to a swedish handsome lumberjack man, Leif is the name to pick. Thanks and hope you found this interesting.
Zeio's crosshair flicks right to the last guy at 2:15
and this is why you will never be global or even mge 😂
2:00 crosshair flicked on first kill following it for a sec straight (reasonable)
2:11 flicks onto guy in apps entry
2:12 crosshair flicks on second kill following it trough the wall (reasonable but wierd that it happened twice)
2:16 he flicks onto guy in ladder (strange why would he not flick into the corner)
its easier to see if you watch the whole clip in x25 slowmo
as an ex global elite, just from that one clip, id say its a coincidence - but judging by the fact that hes kinda low elo (mge) and its matchmaking id report him for walling just to make sure
I top frag every game, I have above average stats for a Gold Nova 1 on Leetify, I manage the team as much as possible by calling the strats etc (but it’s kinda pointless when 80% of people in my rank don’t even bother with headphones…)
I think people really need to understand the difference between a Silver/Gold Nova and a Global Elite.
Most players that play Faceit don't usually play Matchmaking, therefore deranking over time
EU player here.
NA.. who knows
Yesterday i had game with MGE and bunch of MG. MGE is lvl10, 6k hours, rest of the team 2k+ with 6-8 lvl
im so glad your playing with austinCS, he deserves the clout
I'm level 8 faceit and I actually struggle to get back into global when I lose it
mm is actually difficult bro no joke
I also think they aim pretty damn well I'm surprised by some of the shots hit
Edit: finally got back to it today lol
I just cant stand that difference in spraying on 128tick vs 64tick.
mm is also often really random. You can get very mixed rank lobbies, players who don't talk and hackers. You just can't predict how it will turn out.
@@Beeblebr0x wait is spray actually different on different ticks?
The amount of random lvl10's from LE-Global is the hard part, they can just run out everywhere and win aim duels it feels like
@@retriggered The input that you provide with your mouse to the server reacting to it is less precise in matchmaking.
solo player who use to be semipro about to play pro on source but retired due to studys during 5 years then I came back and I play around 2500 - 3000 elo , solo playing mostly now. I could tell in my opinion the guy hiting the good deagle shots was the Global. Also jump spoting B on mirage still good to do only in a better way pressing control and just showing tiny bit of ur body, and ofc with smoke ready to scape and nade to follow then u playing back near forest/bench
its about consistency. Higher ranked players do correct things more consistently and with less effort.
I have been hard stuck on mge for about a year. The problem is our group fell apart, we have only 2 of the 5 left.
Ngl it's always so interesting to sorta see globals play cuz like it really makes ya realize like it's really not ain that's holding you back. Sure, there's some aim related habits, such as panic spraying, that can be a big deal. But utility and movement is what your leaps n bounds behind on.
the ranks are bullshit if you have bad luck with noobs you be silver and can never be global because you neeed like 5 wins in a row to rank up
I played ak/colt/autosniper and became global on 5v5 and Wingman, took about 12 days total and then i quit cuz COD (at the time) was better and faster.
As a Silver 2, recently promoted from Silver 1, im better then these guys 100%.
Skill points analogy is just perfect! Nice :)
Faceit is free to play so it’s worth it
as a gold nova I'll say nightmare reloads after shooting 4 shots, constantly aim duels and doesn't check 50% of the common spots
Some players are not getting more skill and their ranks is basically the same (Nova-LE)
CSGO is great but soooooooo many cheaters that makes this game sucks, thanks VALVE.
That's why I immediatly knew that Zeio was the MGE.
consistency is the key here i think. plus most mge players have nothing but their aim. you can outsmart them and „outnade“ them pretty easily
7:54 i can sense his tilt bro
Saw you in DM after you put out this video, gg!
i game for more then 15+ years, and 1 thing ive learned is that in competitive games, no one accepts that your learning the game.
That skill point distribution explanation made so much sense to my gamer brain. I probably have 2 points in gamesense and 1 point in aim tho lol
The movement made it obvious to me. Definitely the counter strafing and peeking corners (+ angle clearing) is much better with moon than Zeio. For example Zeio at 2:03 was obvious his movement wasn’t as refined
and here i am at nova 4 and still deranking after making it to dmg... i love this game 😅
I've even versed full Global/Supreme teams and still easily held my own against them (why MM is putting me up against them in the first place is beyond me)
gold nova should be easy to get out, solo too. if u perform every game and play well over a longer period of time, u will rank up.
I can honestly tell just by cross hair placement
Hi voo - I don't deserve Global. I have been playing since cs 1.6 in 2003. In CS GO I'm about Gold Nova 3-4. That's what I deserve.
Where can I send you a VOD to take a look at? Been watching a ton of your videos and have been wanting to improve at csgo
2:16 crisp clean aimlock booiiis
instructions unclear - didn't go palace, now I got killed ramp? What do I do now?
I played cs 1.6 for about all my life 15K hours. I started csgo in 2018 and im only mge, because some of my friends are gold nova 2 max. My wingman rank is global, I always win because its easy to play against 2 players. I think I have around ~200 wins and 1-2 loses. Ranks doesnt matter that much in this game. One of my friends is faceit lvl 9/10, we play very similar.
I think rainbow six strategy and cs 1.6 spray and movements helped me a lot.
Im not going for global elite. My goal I think is to be red in trust factor cuz everyone reports me....
i'm an old school 1.6er too but i feel like my downfall is solo queuing too much in cs:go
Greetings from Estonia voo!
From first cut when you introdouce the players i known that moonleifshadow is Global Elite :D
I'm betting moonleif, I have a core believe that it doesn't matter what it is, in anything the most important part is consistency, feel like it's moon here
I very much enjoyed this one.
5:20 better to jump spot on the other way (jump to the right) with a good angle enemy can almost dont see youl
The fact that the global plays exactly like me is such a W
if moon is a global from game sense alone Im pro
I’m SEM and didn’t think any of those players were better than me
as someone who transitioned from rocket league (ps4) to csgo (first pc game) the ranks are so confusing, how am i supposed to know how good a Distinguished Master Guardian Elite Eagle Global Legend is lol.
As a legendary eagle, just stop worrying. Keep grinding. Keep watching high level play. And don’t solo queue.
That degeal at the beginning should have absolutely missed, no?
The average master guardian skill tree:
Aim: 10/10
Brain: 0/10
Smokes: 0/10
Gamesense: 0/10
Communication: 0/10
Strats: 0/10
Willingness to lister and/or learn: -10/10
Flaming: 11/10
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD, HIGH EFFORT VIDEO. I'm really impressed with this quality, voo.
Just hit mge for the first time yesterday after 1800 hours, I'm on my way
I learned this jump spot when I was silver 3 because I was watching a lot off widens on "how to play". Strange but nobody on gn knows it(
In the beginning when i was silver to nova, i used to destroy globals 1v1 while they playing rifles and me going with pistol
sure
If anyone is watching this video and they feel like they aren't in the rank they deserve, you probably aren't,
The ranking system is f'd I have won 15 games in a row, ranked up to supreme (finally) played two games and lost (deranking back to LEM). Played one game (ranked up) lost two more (no derank).
Like wth?
I play global, but I'd just perfect defending B in dust2 and never play any other map. Easiest way to get global in solo queue.
Me, with 15 hours: yeah yeah he must be the global...
15K HOURS?! Thats 1.7 years
DMG - low Global is pretty much the same.
