Happy Gilmore, Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch, Night Of The Museum, Meet The Fockers, Dodgeball Tropic Thunder (my fav Stiller movie) The Watch, Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, all just great films in their own right, he was my childhood and I’ll always be thankful for his art. Shout out Ben Stiller and JJ for getting him on this platform.
You know he's good when you first mention his name and people instantly remember different films of his and make references to them. Such a good actor. For me due to my age it was Night at the Museum that came to mind first
Severance was the first show that made me take Apple+ seriously, I got the streaming service after ep 2. I loved this dude's movies as a kid, its great to see him doin well bro. I hope he direct variety of shows, absolute national treasure!
If this is the first show that made you take apple+ serious recommend going back and looking at their older stuff. Ted Lasso, the foundation, and the morning show just to name a few.
To describe being a Knicks fan is to try and imagine you’re a fan of a small Texas town high school football team Friday night lights like, the joy that team of high schoolers gives to the local townspeople, that intensity, that’s how Knicks fans feel, it feels personal to be a fan of them, it’s not superficial, and we just want to share that joy, with winning
After watching the finale, I can feel confident that Severance is an all-time Top 10 show. I was worried if it would stick the landing, and the finale exceeded my expectations.
One season doesn't mean it'll be that great. Many other shows have flamed out or ruined the finale of the show. Still a lot of time and story left to tell, but it seems like it will be great.
Love this episode and what Ben said about being a Knicks fan is totally true lol -- I have a guest that I would love to see you guys interview, Charles Barkley :) That would be EPIC!
Loved this episode! Can’t believe y’all didn’t bring up tropic thunder or even more Owen Wilson stuff…gotta have him on again, maybe live even though it would probably be in NY and not LA😭
Ben Stiller has turned into my favorite celebrity. This guy is so genuine and I dare anyone to listen to him and not instantly like him. I've never heard an A-list guy be so complementary to others people work. Great interview!
I don’t get this episode, but I love it so much. I can’t stop watching it. Great questions great answers. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Only regret was no mention of my favorite movie of the secret life of Walter. Enjoyed it.
Bhahaha!! Everyone thought it was Ben Simmons...Wrong Ben everyone, it was literally Ben Stiller The Legend who created Tropic Thunder, still One of the All time Funniest Movies. 😂🤣😭
It was a complete surprise and pleasure to have Ben Stiller on your show. JJ... stop checking that phone! haha 😅 Love your shows guys, keep up the good work!
My favorite movie with Ben stiller in it, is actually a movie you wouldn't know he's in. Empire of the Sun is amazing. With a young Christian bale. Amazing. Way underrated.
Love the pod! Wish Tropic Thunder would have been mentioned. The movie that will not have one like it made in the foreseeable future. Would have been intrigued to hear his thoughts on that versus current social climate.
When I was around 16 or so I played against this short, super hairy, super sweaty guy who also took off his shirt and played by backing you down. His sweat was so thick it was like gelatin. I've never forgotten it. As movie scenes one might like to relate to go, it's not the one I would pick but there it is.
The way Ben speaks about being a Knicks fan is not too dissimilar to how a Houston Texans fan feels. They exceed expectations for a season or two and then it all falls apart.
From the moment he said "this two guys has writen the script..." it was clear where he is going with this. Damn, wonder how GWH would looks if he took it.
As a Knicks fan, what Ben said about being a Knicks fan just resonates with me so much.
Yeah Delusional HAHAHA
Timestamp please thanks

Really charming episode. Surprised at how chill Stiller seems when it's not just a press junket.
After watching the finale, I can feel confident that Severance is an all-time Top 10 show. I was worried if it would stick the landing, and the finale exceeded my expectations.
Severance was the real deal
One season doesn't mean it'll be that great. Many other shows have flamed out or ruined the finale of the show. Still a lot of time and story left to tell, but it seems like it will be great.

Definitely one of my favorite episodes. Great job done by JJ & the other dude mixing up the topics. And Ben was an awesome pod guest himself.
Love this episode and what Ben said about being a Knicks fan is totally true lol -- I have a guest that I would love to see you guys interview, Charles Barkley :) That would be EPIC!
Yes! Bring Chuck on. He has great stories, good insight on the game.
Was not expecting to see Ben Stiller in the title of a JJ Redick video but I am here for it
Heavyweights is absolutely HILARIOUS!!!! I’ve watched that movie like 100 times lol. It NEVER gets old 😂

Absolute goat when I was growing up. Saw like every movie by this man absolute legend
Love how this podcast is evolving
How was there no mention of tropic thunder in this whole episode that’s a classic right there 😂😂
Bhahaha!! Everyone thought it was Ben Simmons...Wrong Ben everyone, it was literally Ben Stiller The Legend who created Tropic Thunder, still One of the All time Funniest Movies. 😂🤣😭
If you think about it, Ben Stiller played the same amount of minutes Simmons did this season. 🤦🏻♂️
Such a great listen, love the collab between sports and acting/directing content
It was a complete surprise and pleasure to have Ben Stiller on your show. JJ... stop checking that phone! haha 😅 Love your shows guys, keep up the good work!

Dude this was an awesome episode jj, love Ben and your interview questions were top
Wow JJ Redick podcast is on a whole nother level! Love it👍👍
Wow, what a win of a podcast, bigger than basketball 😆.
I could've had a whole episode on Severance, one of the best shows to come out recently
underrated Stiller stuff: Flirting with Disaster
The range of the guests 🙌🙌🙌
I blame the Knicks for turning Ben Stiller’s hair grey, had they won more who knows😅

My favorite actor on my favorite podcast, today is a great day!
Great interview, JJ and Tommy!
Wasn’t expecting this!
I need to see Severance!
Right when I needed it thanks JJ

Brilliant advice for directing never thought of that 🙏
I’m so glad Tommy asked about Heavyweights
Edit: I’m even more glad that he asked about PSH in Along Came Polly!
JJ needs at least 1 million subscribers soon it’ll happen
Underrated Stiller show, he had a great tv show when he was young, but it only had one season, but it was really funny.
I'm still shocked, wow thanks jj
Reality Bites! That's one of my favourite films! It's got a bit of everything going on, definitely an underrated film.
When I was around 16 or so I played against this short, super hairy, super sweaty guy who also took off his shirt and played by backing you down. His sweat was so thick it was like gelatin. I've never forgotten it. As movie scenes one might like to relate to go, it's not the one I would pick but there it is.

Seeing Ben with the gray hair, he looks exactly like his dad 🤯
Loved how Ben lit up when it was time to talk hoops. 🙂🙂🙂
Tony Perkis!!!!!! "Lunch is cancelled today, due to lack of hustle" love ben stiller!
Zoolander and Tropic Thunder are my faves
Also his cameo in pick of destiny is great
Mystery Men is Stiller’s most under appreciated movies
i somehow find this completely random and so on point for the podcast
How isn’t this at a million
Severance is VERY GOOD!
J.J. we need an interview with Tim Duncan. I'll post in every video until you Interview him.
Definitely saving this one for later, Ben Stiller? Damn!
JJ looks star struck
Best guest ever
The Zoolander himself.

Loll this is the best … JJ needs to do movies
Severance is dope AF

Tommy: Ben - you ever consider becoming a Lakers fa-
Ben: No, nonononononononononononononon-

Duplex, Along Came Polly, Something About Mary and Meet The Fockers are his best imo.
JJ is a goat for this guest
My favorite movie…Camp Heavyweights! 🔥🔥🔥
PERKISZIE ME!!!
Heavyweights hands down is the BEST Disney movie ever made. To this day I still use the BODY SYSTEM.
Loved this, i would have liked to hear about Something about Marry and Tropic Thunder.
Wow jj really got Ben stiller to come on 🤯
The way Ben speaks about being a Knicks fan is not too dissimilar to how a Houston Texans fan feels.
They exceed expectations for a season or two and then it all falls apart.
This is the content transition I was waiting for, if I could I'd buy jj Reddick stock today
It's a bummer that he didn't answer that great question if he thinks one of his movies are underrated, but, great interview
I would love to keep watching the video, but I am fasting for Ramadan and the drinks on the table is making me drool.
Saw Ben on tv at the Rafa and Kyrgios match for tennis
From the moment he said "this two guys has writen the script..." it was clear where he is going with this.
Damn, wonder how GWH would looks if he took it.
JJ you work so hard and you’re not perfect but I know you see us telling you to get timestamps but I ain’t gon trip I’m gonna watch it all 😅
