Humility
Can't recommend this show enough, seriously. What a mystery, but the characters are so well written and played with such a level of nuance. It's like a rare gift of a show that you get every once in a decade. I hope they can keep the quality up through the coming seasons because I know a lot of shows struggle with that. But Ben Stiller has invested himself in it greatly - directing 7 of the 9 episodes himself!
Also, I'm a massive tennis nerd and that moment was truly hilariously confusing in the moment lol.. Kyrgios v Nadal - Ben's a HUMONGOUS Nadal fan. Him and his wife were there for pretty much all 2 weeks. They love their tennis.

I came across this by chance just last week and binged in in one sitting. And was bummed that there was only one season. I thought how can you not bring this back. And it's HERE. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE NEW SEASON.
Ben Stiller is a national treasure. Sooo many great roles. Severance is an INCREDIBLE show! My favorite of the last few years at least.

I normally just watch late night shows for the monologues, and the correspondent reports for this show. I normally skip the promotional interviews. But I love Severance and had to click on this immediately

Man, thanking Ben Stiller for all he's done, what a class act Trevor is. And you know it was heartfelt and not fake like with some other hosts.

I will forever love him because of “Walter Mitty” , such a great actor, not just a comedian.
Oooooh Trevor I was also a single mother and when my housekeeper/nanny was on holiday or sick, I also took my 2 boys to work and they played under my desk . Wow. That brought back memories . The boys are now in their 40ties . And by the way, I am in South Africa. Loooooooooove youTrevor .

The most recent episode that I saw of this, which was directed by Ben, was one of the best hours of TV/film Ive seen in a while.

I finally saw it, and it’s probably the best series I’ve seen in years. The story the acting the cinematography effing brilliant. I can’t wait for season 2!

Severance is the best show of the year so far.
"Severance" has a lot of Scientology cult influences in it. Love the show. Very interesting and engaging. I'm glad Ben decided to make it.
My wife used to work for AT&T. She said there are a lot of similarities in the cult-like religious atmosphere, including Mr. Graner security dudes with earpieces who skulk around the hallways for unknown reasons. They also had their own acronym lingo where everyone knew what the words meant but had no idea what they stood for. My guess is the writer used to work for AT&T lol.

And not just with Lumon; the main character’s brother-in-law Rickon is pretty similar to Scientology’s founder considering he has those bizarre reading parties for his self-help book. And the “innies” literally view him as a messianic figure because of that book lol

Surely most kids would find Ben Stiller for taking the lead on Madagascar 4, but it seems uncertain right now upon the effects from COVID, of course..... And he's known (even from Indonesia at the Southeast Asian region as well!) for playing as Alex the Lion, Larry Daley from the museum, and many more movies linked with jokes and thrills.....😁

thanks now I know I don't want to see it. cable guy was cool but 8 was a young kid at the time. I can still remember it clearly enough to know I really don't want to watch it again. funny and creepy didn't mix well with me.

Severance is awesome. I didn't think Ben could top Cable Guy, but he did with this one.
I love how enthusiastic Trevor is. It’s obvious that he has truly been under the spell of the series and has so many things to communicate to Ben Stiller. And I love how cool Ben is: Trevor doesn’t let him speak but it’s OK for Ben because he sees genuine excitement and goodwill on Trevor’s part. It’s almost like a big size mama dog patiently watching and educating a curious kitten (yes kitten, not puppy. Maybe I should watch less Dodo stories ;))
I loved the show. There’s nothing like and it’s both funny and twisted.
