Sharp11Girl Sadly Tobi passed away earlier this year. The list of alumni on this video lists the names of the former Swingles who took part in this project and who appear on screen. You can see them at 3:05. The full list of Swingle alumni from over the years is much much longer than this!

The big choir is a little bit low in the mix compared to the Swingles for my taste - maybe we didn't sing it very well ! We don't seem to get the full-bodied effect of 1000+ singers. On the other hand it must be a monstrous job mixing all this together from individual contributions.
we were just the backing singers to them... not like in Sing Gently, where we were the choir..and the singers... I guess that's the difference :)
@@Finomej Sing gently was a superb mix. This one was good..But it focused on the singles and their groups of course. Naturally!
The Swingles are the principals in this one - we are just the backing group, as Julian said. As to the "full bodied effect of 1000 plus singers" that would be a bit much to expect in a project of this sort. The backing choir is very much in evidence, but not to the extent that it swamps the principal singers. Personally I did not have the expectation that the choir were the main focus on this one. :-)
Please forgive me! But the beat box guy should show more of his hand moves. It looks like he's just spitting... Just aesthetic thing...
