Jessica Lange, Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, the trinity of actresses!
Don't forget Sigourney Weaver...
Absolutely!
Angela Bassett for me as the third one but good picks Glenn is amazing too.
Susan Sarandon too
Viola Davis hello
Icon gets thrown around too much. THIS woman right here is an Icon.
I agree! Her longevity in the movie business (almost 50 years) alone is enough to call her an icon and some of her most iconic roles puts her on the list as one of the greatest actresses of all time!
She’s 75 and still one of the most beautiful women ever. So classy!
@@paulsmith2279what about your own aging? 😂
Jessica Lange deserves every single award she gets. Outstanding actress.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Jessica Lange a couple of times. She is beautiful and sweet, and she tips well!
Thats awesome! I’m so jealous! But so happy to hear she’s lovely in person 🙌🏻!
So proud of the journey my fellow Minnesotan has taken 🩵💛
She’s long overdue for her Kennedy center honors for her unparalleled work in film, tv and theatre. Also the AFI life achievement award and Cecil B DeMille Award as well.
👏👏👏
AGREE!!!!!
We love jessica lange
She’s such an incredible actress!
LOVE
Everyone in this interview looks at Beautiful Jessica Lange with the biggest smiles on their faces. But, it's Whoopi's huge Beautiful smile that gets to me the most!! She smiles at Jessica throughout the entire interview like a little kid in Awe. It's the pure love of an actor admiring their fellow actor. Whoopi rarely gets star struck, but you can tell Jessica is one of the few stars who leaves Whoopi star struck, left in complete awe!! So I wasn't surprised in the end seeing Whoopi's even more priceless reactions. Like when She starts getting all giggly, looks over at Jessica, & smiles even bigger, & Jessica smiles at her. (They truly shared a moment just between Whoopi, & Jessica.) So again, I wasn't surprised when Whoopi then says, “I Love Her!!” Because, the Love was evident, We saw it play out right before our eyes!! & I know the Unconditional Love, & everything goes vice versa for Jessica about Whoopi!! 😍 Actors supporting Actors, Women Supporting Women!! 💜💜
Beautiful post, too! Thank you!🌹🌸🌻🪻
@@kerrialexander4211, You’re welcome. & Aww. My Heart. You’re so sweet. Thank you so very much!! 🥰 🌻 🌹 💐 💜💜
I did notice Whoopi smiling more than usual, but thought it was gas.
Lovely, perceptive comment; thank you, Shea-- :)
@@blanchefan, Aww. Thank you so much!! 😊🌹💜💜
Her performance in Blue Sky is a master class in acting.
Agree. She is amazing in that movie.
Boy, You said it
AMAZING
ALSO
Frances Farmer
Also
Joan Crawford with Susan Sarandon
Jessica Lange is right up there with all the greats. Phenomenal actor. Always loved her
Wow, Whoopi adores her. I don't blame Whoopi!
She is 75yrs young now. Wow. Time Flies.
Jessica Lange is a gift to all of us who enjoy women on film and on the stage. She is such a special talent and an American icon. She brings such depth to her art. And, isn't it wonderful that women like Jessica continue getting roles for us to enjoy!
Loved her in all her seasons of AHS
Me too!! I knew it was gonna be good when I seen she was in it!!
Me too
Lange and Bates are terrific together in "Men Don't Leave" (1990), a lovely unsung film with a marvelous cast all around. Don't miss it.
Can't understand why this movie didn't really feature when released. An excellent movie.
Absolutely! Lange was amazing on MDL so were the rest of the cast.
That ending with Whoopi and Jessica was sweet and just shows you the respect they have for one another to pause and get space for if someone might have wanted to say something!
She’s so beautiful.
Jessica Lange deserves all the awards and accolades...she's just that good!
Jessica Lange. Queen of all queens.
living at the same time as Oscar, Tony, Emmy winner Jessica Lange is craaaazy!
I got to see her as Amanda in The Glass Menagerie on Broadway with Christian Slater and Sarah Paulson. Unforgettable.
All of her work is sheer perfection.
Seeing Jessica Lange is like receiving a warm hug. How I fell in love with her in 1976 King Kong and continue to love her. Thank you Jessica for giving us decades of fine work and memoiries.
She was great in Grey Gardens with Drew Barrymore. They played mother and daughter.
One of the most gifted actresses of our time. For decades Jessica Lange has quietly commanded stage and screen leaving a trail of remarkable performances. ❤
Thank you for mentioning the movie, Normal. I'm no film critic, but I think it is one of the most underated films of all times.
Loved her in Crimes of the Heart.
Jessica Lange is one of the best.
I love this woman…pure endless talent and beauty!
I fell in love with her on Christmas Day in 1976. I was nine. She was King Kong’s girl.
I love her so much. Fantastic actress and wonderful person
Humble, professional, sincere & genuine. ❤
she was really good in 'Postman rings twice'
Truly miss her on Ahs...
She should have gotten the Oscar for Frances.Instead, she got the Best Supporting Oscar for Tootsie. She is the Lawrence Olivier of our time. Watch her interview on Inside the Actors Studio. Greatness!
One of the Greats.
Jessica Lange is a compelling delight. I especially liked Blue Sky, Sweet Dreams, and Men Don't Love. I first watched her in American Story, which was very camp, but did a little rewinding to discover this great talent.
Come back to American Horror Story!! ❤
Is Sunni that dense? What kind of question is that? She is a brilliant actor and she is amazing at playing the villain!🖤 She's the Supreme!😍
Truth hurts!? get over yerself
@@JamesBarner-lz3lg What truth?😂 Seems like you're just as bad as her.
@@realhousewifeoftransylvania1.0 No i like brutally honest people. Youre obviously one that cant handle criticism much less insults lmao
It was a very rude question to ask and inappropriate. Its like she didnt study for the interview.
@@seczajkowski Youd make a horrible interviewer then. Protecting the upper tier with soft ball questions is whats wrong with you😅😅😅😅
I love her. She is so gorgeous that it's hard to look away. I bet in person she's breathtaking.
I saw her live at the play, and she is. I was on the third row. Something about seeing that flawless bone structure in 3D, the way the light hits it, plus her expressions... she takes your breath away. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
I can't even imagine being even closer and having a conversation.
So proud of this fellow Minnesotan 🩵💛
Me too;)
I was fortunate to see Jessica Lange on Broadway in “A Street Car Named Desire” with Alec Baldwin. I don’t recall the exact year, but it was in 1980’s. Both she & Alec were wonderful. What stuck out to me at the time, was her beauty. It was almost distracting me from her performance as Stella.
Saw it with my Mother last night. Beautiful performances. Very emotional and triggering play. Really moved me.
Anything directed by Sidney Pollack is absolutely terrific. Jessica Lange was wonderful. Frances Farmer and Patsy Cline roles were so outstanding. Love her and her talent.
Love, love, love her!!!!!
Love her in American Horror Story
She's phenomenal. Much love from The UK.
I am so happy that woman mentioned Normal! That's one of my favourite Jessica Lange performances. So subtle and subdued.
...until she went completely nuclear in the laundry room scene. "I WANT MY HUSBAND BAAAAAACCCKKKKKK!!!"
I love those scenes, where she just completely let's go, and all the feminine rage erupts like a volcano.
@@valerirutland2468 Oh I remember that scene! I still loved it. It felt justified. But on a positive note, remember that scene when she was knitting in bed and her husband kind of implied that she didn't support him enough and she gave that little monologue? That was so quiet and powerful.
@@valerirutland2468 OH! But actually, from what I remember of that laundry scene...it was really badly edited!
Wishing I could see this play,
it rings with me in this situation! ❤
Jessica Lange first mesmerized me in the 1976 version of KING KONG and her magic spell still holds me captive to this day!❤🎉
I love her sm such a great actress
Love you, Jessica Lange👏👏👏👏
OUR SUPREME!!!!
I am Australian and I am so proud to say that while in New York I got to see Jessica Lange on stage in NY. What an experience!!!
She is a legend
Jessica is sheer elegance and sheer grace!! Timeless actor.
Mother Play is simply incredible. It's sometimes painful and sometimes funny. The writing and the acting are simply exceptional and I'm glad i got to see it
My favorite actor! France, Blue Sky, Music Box & Far North.
Just saw her on Mother’s Play. She was so amazing. I wish I could see it again.
Living legend.. congratulations Jessica on your phenomenal career 🎉❤
I like that we call her the Supreme but she is no witch, she is a fairy ❤
ANGEL!!! 🥹🥰 She's still the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And the greatest actress ever! There are no words for how much I love her
Jessica Lange = Legend
Outstanding actress! Icon!
Gorgeous!
Classy!
Lovedddd her on "Hush"!!
Wow wow wow! She is just so beautiful and talented - I feel like she is really underrated - I rarely agree with Sunny, but yes, she "is the gift". Timeless.
Jessica Lange, Legend.
Outstanding actress.
Loved her in blue skies
Maravilloso. ... maravilloso
That’s that guy who had played on The Big Bang Theory show as a Nerd.🤣🤣
legend !
Jessica Lange is the best! She’s talented and direct ❤
THE SUPREME! that's it
I saw Mother Play in previews and I knew they would all get nominations. All three actors deliver fantastic performances, but of course, Jessica Lange, really is a legend. And Frances really is an extraordinary movie and performance. If she hadn't been up against Meryl Streep for Sophie's Choice, Jessica would have won two Oscars that year!
Jessica is stunning and glowing! Move the oscar or award to the side, she's gold here!
I saw Frances. That was the first movie of Jessica that I saw. She was brilliant👏
I adore this woman!!
American Horror Story: Coven and American Horror Story: Freak Show are my favorite roles Jessica starred in.
STILL AND ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL, GREAT ACTRESS
The wall is undefeated
❤The great Jessica Lange❤Fantastic iconic moviestar❤love from Finland❤
A phenomenal actress through and through! She eats any role 🔥
She's a great actress!!!
Beautiful always Jessica Lange…best actress always❤
The first time I remember her and Kathy Bates together in a movie was in Men Don’t Leave.
OMG QUEEN LANGE
MOTHER.
This are women that paved the road for many women today. They are legendary, those times they came from had to fight against all types of obstacles, and it was a man’s world as well, we’ve come a long way but still work to be done. Amazing artist ❤❤ wish her all the health, and peace 🕊️ in her life ❤
WHY DOESN’T ANYBODY TALK ABOUT SWEET DREAMS WHERE SHE PORTRAYS PATSY CLINE?!! That got me hooked!!!!
She is the best living actress..would love to see her, Jane Fonda, and Shirley McClaine do a drama !!
I was so moved by Frances and have been spellbound by Ms Lange ever since.
Kathy bates and Jessica Lange are magnificent on screen together
The real deal .... she is a STAR
LOL Sara.. King Kong!!!!!!!! Whoever is the researcher on this is nuts!! Thankfully Jessie saved it by actually me talking about Frances
She looks good for her age
🤍 one of the greatest beauties
Whoopi and Jessica clearly have the upmost respect....i recall they both respectfully lost on the same night to Geraldine Page...the vids on RUclips....looking back it was a hard category....meaning it had been a great year for actresses.
Good actress 👏
Her role in Rob Roy was perfect.
Jessica Lange, my #1 actress. “Frances” in my top five favorite movies ever. “Normal” an excellent, must watch movie as well.
