I am glad you enjoyed it! I have some more actresses I am digging into, and this might be a once a month series or every 2 - 3 weeks, will see how it goes. History of all types is so important to me, and glad to see it is to you :)
Good Morning Rhiannon, hope your really well. What a beautiful & moving & also sad story of Lillian. What a beautiful actress who died so young & so alone in her final moments. For many years the words "Mental Health" has been seen as a dirty word which you didn't speak about, so many people are suffering some kind of mental health illness where it could be depression, self esteem or self worth (me included). It's only now people are talking about it & people are now taking notice & seeing they are not alone & there is help available to sufferers from different charities & organisations, here in the UK we have a lot of children taking there own lives because of all the above. So sad. Thank you Rhiannon for your lovely video, and I hope you also get better to, Andy. 😊💕😊
Lot of people including kids are suffering in Canada as well, a lot more than they were 10 years ago. But we have to take the shame away from it, and there is some parts of society that don't want to talk about it. Admitting that you may have a mental illness doesn't make you weak it makes you strong. Admitting it is the first step to start taking control again. In Lillian's time there was a big stigma around it, but from all the research I'm doing about actresses back then so many went out the way she did and they didn't have to. No one has to. It can be very lonely, but people have to realize they're not alone. That's why I wanted to put some numbers people can call just in case in the description. And Andy you are worthy, just remember that. Please take care and thank you so much for all your support
Excellent video. I'm so glad you are bringing the real stories of each actress back so their incredible talents are not forgotten. Thank you for putting help line information into your description for anyone who may need it. 😇
Thank you so much Donna for all your support, and I am glad you liked it. I wanted to put that information in just in case. To let someone who might need it have something to reach out too - to know they are not alone
Girl, what a sad story! She was so beautiful and talented. I guess she was a victim of depression because at that time people wouldn't talk about emocional problems. It's really sad she had lost her life to depression.
Very sad. I was one of the ones that knew more about her death than her work in film (except for the farmers wife, i loved that film). Sad thing is today people still dont want to talk about it, and i think more than ever in this world of today - we have to reach out and support each other.
What a great video. I am so happy that you are making this a series. I love old movies and their stars. Thank you for saving some of the histories.

I second that.

It's great to learn about these silent movie stars.
Thank you for watching! And I'm glad you are enjoying learning about these women, as I really do believe their story should be told
Very very interesting. Thanks so much for this!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you found it interesting, it makes the research in the work worthwhile
Thank you.

@@RhiannonsAdventuresInHistory you're absolutely right.
There is a great book about lesser known silent actresses. It came out in 2011. Very good book. I will have to look up the title.
Thank you
Louder please
