OMGoodness! That woman calling the Oregon Food Bank. What nerve! Does SHE donate food and other items that SHE has grown or paid for? People should mind their own business nowadays.
I'm the grandma with a pool. It's a magnet. It's how I see family members more frequently during the summer. Let your parents be the pool people. You are building special memories.
I have a solution. Give Aaron an above ground pool 4 ft deep x 10 ft wide, a raft and he can float in his pool. Her and the kids can go to Grandma's and make memories. I agree, no need for a pool.
I agree somewhat...but does Aaron's parents and siblings go to Susan's pool? So maybe if Aaron had a pool, his family would have a place to enjoy also and make memories
I totally agree with Laura. Don't have a pool. Benjamin and Samantha will have such great memories of visiting their grandparents and swimming in their pool. Going over there for a swim will always be an occasion. If they have their own pool the novelty will soon wear off.
I rarely comment, but I have to agree with the person who said people should mind their own business. The entire Garden Answer family seems like the most amazing, loving, and gracious family. Please remember that this is their life they are choosing to share with us. They are not inviting you to comment on how they live their life, how they raise their children, how they worship, their political views, or any other aspect of their lives that are none of our business. Let’s try not to pass judgement on the lives of others but be grateful we have the privilege of getting a glimpse into such a wholesome family who love each other and always try to do the right things.
I agree that complaining or criticizing is out of place just because you don't agree with something you see. However, please remember that posting on any platform or social media is absolutely making space for public comment. There is always the button to remove comments should one choose this option. But what they were referring to wasn't a comment. It was a call from a viewer to the Oregon food bank and they (food bank) were the ones following up on the call. But I do agree with you, that it was a ludicrous complaint.
How you deal with these questions is classy. I don’t know that I’d be as gracious with the accusers and tattlers. Ugh! I appreciate the professionalism you display in your business, which also happens to be your life and family and it inspires me to be more gracious in my own life toward those who are not. Thank you for being so kind yet honest toward those kinds of people!
What did that Karen expect?? The food bank to come over with a truck and the police and demand her extra food? I'm sure they probably give them plenty already and just don't crow about it.
Laura, you and Aaron give so much of your life to the world. Really. No one should be criticizing you, no one should be calling people on you! Lol I think that was absolutely ridiculous! Thank you for what you do and thank you for sharing your life. As for me, You and Aaron have become an extension of my life. I was there when your babies were born! I was there when you moved into that house. And I was there when you did your first planter on RUclips. I love y'all! Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what the stream looks like!
Blessed? More like reward from hard work. Who is not blessed? How do you get blessed? You put words together that mean nothing. Also she makes a living making RUclips videos for public consumption. This channel is all about explaining everything and you are telling her she doesn't have to? That would make this channel pointless and then no more money. Money makes this all happen not imagining blessings from imaginary gods.
Wow! Someone called the foodbank? Thats absurd! I am all for donating to charity and workimg to volunteer during holiday season, but to call the food bank is going too far. Personally, i love how you are so conscientous with giving excess away, even pigs have to eat and ... i so appreciate hpw you share your abundant blessings all rhe time! Keep up the great work ❤ i bet Pedro and his crew were happy to clear the back of the gator with the amazing produce you grew ❤
I have to say the story about Benjamin and Samantha with the bat brought me back to my childhood. My sisters and I were playing ball, I was like 7 years old. My sister is a lefty, well I was standing behind her on the wrong side. Went to school with a black eye! Life happens and I’m happy to see your kids are playing together outside and enjoying their best life!
One of my sons nailed one of his sisters with a golf club once when they were young. Right in the mouth. Fortunately no lost teeth. He didn’t realize she was there
So sorry a Karen thought it was her right to call the food bank, what a disgusting person. I think you and Aron handled that graciously. My Gran taught me to give even when you don’t have it to give and keep that knowledge to yourself. Seeing the photos of your getaway was great, thank you for sharing. I hope you can do it more often!! 😎😎😎😎
I just can't believe the gall of some people with the questions they ask or the comments they give. I love that you and Aaron can laugh it off. Carry on. You are all doing great.
Enjoy your parents pool! Their place is so lovely! Another place to stay connected. Replace the fireplace with something in keeping with your style. Can’t wait to see what you do with the space. Nay to the Karen’s of the world. Y’all give so much to so many in quite humble ways! Love your family dynamics!
Hopefully Karen comes to her senses and realizes that they TOO can grow a garden to donate to follow her passion. Always those behind the keyboard are most critical when they have no side hustle. You and Aaron have hearts of gold and raising compassionate kind new generation.
Laura and Aaron, don’t change who you are! You are so grounded in good morals and judgement. I agree about the giving piece. Not something that you talk about to others, God sees it and that’s who matters. Way too much judgement going on in the world. Absolutely love you guys and God bless you!🙏🏻💚
You are both beyond Adorable when in slight disaccord. This elderly English Lady finds you refreshing in honest seriousness about everything you undertake. Hard work has its rewards if those involved are 'normal' people. Never worry about the sharp tongued not happy people. The World can be a terrible place for many. Your haven with your outlook. Is why you are where you are. Thank you for sharing.
Aaron and Laura, Don’t let those couple of comments from people who chose to pass their judgment on you rent any space in your head. You do so much good in the community that you don’t publish and we all have had our bumps and bruises of childhood mishaps, inevitable. ❤️❤️ Also, what Laura said about having a pool would possibly take away from the amount of time spent with Nana and Papa at their pool. when my girls were young we lived in a place where we could not have a kiddie pool, we lived near my parents and set up a pool their for them….we took them just about every day at that pool for all day fun and they still talk about all the great memories today 😊
Aaron & Laura; I do not understand why people feel the need to mind other peoples business. The woman who called Food Bank could go to the store and buy flour, sugar and canned goods if she’s that concerned!!! I feel people are jealous of other peoples joy!!! Laura I love your videos and I’m about your Mom’s age, so I love the antique shopping trips that you & your Mom take together. I too have daughters and we are so close and we do the vintage markets or festivals here in the south. So keep making videos of your antiquing trips!!!
Q&A episode 9 showed up on my feed randomly yesterday and I rewatched to see Benjamin as a baby again. Turns out in that video you said what your Realistic and your Fantasy Goals were… and you’ve accomplished them both!! Congratulations🎉🎉
Laura, I am supporting you on the pool!!! Our neighbors have had a pool since their daughters were young. Now they have grandkids who came to swim & for Summer parties. Her one daughter decided to put a pool in at her own house. My neighbor told me how sad she was because they would not come nearly as much as they did. She would never say that to her daughter, but you know, she was right. They very rarely use their pool now. I know it makes her Grandma heart sad. Stand your ground 😂😂😂😂😂
I think when the kids are on the play set and court when it’s hot they might like to just jump in the pool.Laura’s parents are working, so they are not visiting with them while they are in their pool during the week. With the plus 100 degrees weather it would be nice to have a pool. Also maybe Aaron may not feel comfortable going to his in-laws for a swim at any given time. If they are creating a fun zone for family friends and themselves why not include a pool. Might as well do it while they are doing all this infrastructure.
I make bouquets for hospitals, nursing homes, dr offices, etc. and never tell people. I don’t even give my name when I leave bouquets. I too am not doing this for praise!
I have a tiny cut flower garden. One year, when I had an abundance, I made several bouquets and would take them to various nursing homes and just ask them to give it to someone who doesn’t get many visitors. Just hoping to brighten someone’s day
I love your thought on the pool, as a grandma I love when the grands come and swim, it's a special time, if they had their own pool it wouldn't be the same..
I remember you brought a truckload of harvested vegetables to your parents Garden Center and offered them for free to their customers.or anyone passing by. I am always amazed how righteous strangers can be about how other people live their lives! I very much enjoy watching you create your beautiful 12 acres! I am so glad you take comments like that in stride.
this is one of the best videos ever.. love the banter.. and what the heck with people???? they need to mind their own business, my goodness... glad you got a mini vacation!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
My jaw dropped to the floor regarding the woman calling the food bank😳 What in the world? My hat comes off to you, you kept it classy. I watch your videos every morning while having my morning coffee. Thank you for keeping me informed on great gardening ideas. I have used many of them, one being where you bought your geranium seeds. I bought planted and have had great success with the seeds, and have shared the plants with many friends. Turns out the seed company is only 1 1/2 hours from where I live.
Here is a recipe I wrote for you many years ago with a recipe for the Fried Green tomatoes & the Remoulade sauce! Southern Living Fried Green Tomatoes 3 medium sized green tomatoes - cut into 1/3 in slices & placed into paper towels to help absorb excess water 1 large egg, lightly beaten 1/2 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, divided 1/2 cup cornmeal 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper Vegetable oil Salt to taste 1. Combine egg and buttermilk; set aside. 2. Combine 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, cornmeal, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl or pan. 3. Dredge tomato slices in remaining 1/4 cup flour; dip in egg mixture, and dredge in cornmeal mixture. 4. Pour oil to a depth of 1/4 to 1/2 inch in a large cast-iron skillet; heat to 375°. Drop tomatoes, in batches, into hot oil, and cook 2 minutes on each side or until golden. Drain on paper towels or a rack. Sprinkle hot tomatoes with salt. 5. Serve hot! Good with ranch type dressings, remoulade sauce (recipe below for this). Homemade Remoulade Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 5 mins Total time: 10 mins Serves: 1½ cups Ingredients • 1 cup of mayonnaise • 2 tbsp creole mustard (can use Dijon) • ½ lemon, juiced • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped (optional) • 1 tbsp Sriracha hot sauce, or your favorite hot sauce • 1 tsp paprika • 1 pinch of salt • 1 pinch of cracked black pepper • 1 dash of cayenne pepper • 1 tbsp chives, minced • ½ tsp Worchestershire sauce Instructions 1. Add everything to a mixing bowl, & do just that. Mix, and mix well until everything is incorporated, and smooth. 2. Transfer the mixture to a sealable container, and store in the refrigerator. 3. This should store well for up to 2 weeks.
This is similar to the fried green tomato recipe I use from Our Salty Kitchen website. We like ours with horseradish sauce like what is served with fried green tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe in Glendale Kentucky. I make Alton Brown’s Horseradish Cream Sauce to go with the fried green tomatoes when I make them. It’s actually the only thing I use the horseradish in my garden for. 😂 Delish!
That’s right, Laura, it takes a second for kids grabbing things they shouldn’t when working with electrical equipment or battery operated tools. Bravo for you in keeping your kiddos safe!
Glad you got away for a few days. The normal auger flites help pull the dirt up out of the hole, which is not needed in garden planting. Yours are brilliant! My wife got hit in the face with a real baseball bat when she was a kid. Complete accident. Don't know why someone doesn't understand how these things sometimes happen. People need to strip off the bubble wrap and enjoy life! I garden without shoes and I like a clean slate. Love the banter! Have a great day!
Makes me so heart sore that people have to be so ugly to one another - but I saw another lovely content creator say this week that 'hurt people hurt people' .... thank you Aaron and Laura for sharing your craft and your hearts with so many of us who appreciate your company! 💜💜💜💜
I’m so glad you and your family got away for a few days. It just gives you a refresh for your soul, and so great to make memories with your family. You and Aaron contribute so much to all of us. You so deserve it!
I love you guys!! I could listen to you "discuss" all day. I chuckle outloud everytime...Thank You! People can be so rude and insensitive to others! What business is it of the woman who called the Food Bank, what you do with ANYTHING that you choose to give away. Please don't let those kind of people get to you. We love you, you are such a big part of our lives and we all find so much joy in you. I agree that your parents love the family coming over to swim. They get to see the kiddos so much more now while they're little, than they will when they get older and more involved with their own friends. Then, maybe a pool for yourselves would make more sense.
I’m so glad you said that about the kids and saftey with all the tools and things you use . I have six kids and when you least expect it they will get curious ! So way better to be overly cautious, let them watch safetly and when they old enough let then learn safely. Btw your sour dough loaf was gorgeous! Also you guys were so funny about giving food for Bethany’s pigs. Its so funny the things people feel they have a right to interfere with. I thought it was so nice that you give it to Bethany to feed the pigs and you guys are cleary giving people and its your business if you want to share or not what you give.
The two of you are such great parents ! Your children are absolutely amazing ! I love to see how they love to help and are so interested in everything the family does . Thank You , for all the information about everything you plant . It answers so many questions we all have , keep up the great help you give to all of us .
I loved today’s recap. I found myself smiling the whole time and love your banter back and forth. So respectful and entertaining. Very informative as well.
You ARE the one who takes us by the hand and says, “Here, this is how you do this!”. Thank you so much for your guidance! I think we’ve all grown as gardeners/cooks.
Just love the banter back and forth between you and Aaron. Ya’ll are so cute. So glad you are taking some R&R for yourselves, especially since the kiddos are getting bigger. I have to admit though that I go through withdrawal when there is not a video to watch while enjoying my morning coffee.😩😂😂
I can't believe the questions people ask you. You handle it so well. honestly I think I would have a hard time with those questions and nefarious comments. I'm glad there are more positive comments than negative . Keep on being you
The two of you gave me a good chuckle this morning! The love and banter between the you both is so sweet. And it is easy to get hit by accident with a baseball bat. My son (at 16) came up behind another teenage boy, just like Samantha did Benjamin, and wack! These "intellectual pillars" were hitting a crab soccer ball with a steel bat. I mean what could go wrong! He was fine in the end. Things happen, especially with kids. I was so glad to hear how careful you are with the power tools. Same son managed to cut either side of his nose with a pair of snips. Minor cuts, but who puts their nose between the blades! He was my accident prone daredevil impulsive child, and my most fun, open and engaging. There's always a trade off and a head of gray hair. The viewer calling the Oregon food bank, jeeze louise! I imagine you will have tons of stories before you are done with this channel. People never fail to surprise me. Bless your hearts!
💚💚 Awww, you both deserve a BIG hug for putting up with such rude people. So *HUGS* to you both, and praying that you have a wonderful week! Thanks for being such a great source for garden knowledge but mostly for your positive outlook on life and love for others. Blessings from a loyal student in Michigan. 🌻🌻
Y'all do an amazing job on your channel. Learning, growing, sharing, and teaching, you're a bright shining star on the internet!!! Sending love from Texas!!
You are very gracious to people that make rude and snarky comments about things that they really have no idea of in real life . My answer would not have been to nice . Feed the piggies
I so enjoy y’all’s banter back and forth. Pool-Boxwoods. I just love the way you love each other. I’ve been married for 46 years to an amazing man. Today is his first day in hospice care. He is over-the-moon happy to be back in our home. Continue to enjoy each other every single moment. And keep having fun together! Your life brings joy into my life. Thanks for everything that you do. Blessed in Texas
I just LOVE y’all! I love your blogs but I LOVE how you and Aaron interact. I love how y’all love your families. I am 76. I’ve been a gardener for many years but I’ve had to cut back and slow down. You, your family, your vlog give me joy. I watch everyday. Your gardens are gorgeous and you created them from bare land. I love your energy, your design, your vision for the future. Keep it up and take a break when you need it. ❤️ we’ll be here when you get back. ❤️
I off the chain loved the flower arrangements, and was particularly inspired by your use of blue and orange in such a lush and grounded way. Looooovvvveee.
OMG can you imagine 😂😂 I wonder if she thought 💭 “Oh I don’t need to plant 🌱 a garden this year because I can get veggies from Laura’s at the food bank”. 🤦♀️. Maybe they should 😊have responded “Oh yes, that was last week, you missed it 😂”. Bahaha. On another note thanks Laura and Aaron for sharing your fun family get away with us. I just loved watching the kids playing in the water. Had to rewatch it just to hear Samantha’s giggles ❤️
In regards to the woman calling the food bank…..the Bible says to do what we do in secret. We aren’t supposed to toot our own horn. You are absolutely right to not draw attention to yourself. Some maybe but not make it all about what you’re doing. You were right to ignore!
Good morning from SC. After watching the episode on planting the ferns in the 'head' vases, I was at a local boutique that sold contemporary face planters. Bought one not knowing what I would do with it. Home Depot had small hanging baskets of Tradescantia 'Pink Panther' that I purchased and just slide that pot into the face planter. Voila! Instant hair. You and Aaron are so generous in every area, take no heed of people that are referred to as 'Debbie Downers'
Laura, I think it’s great that you want to save the pool time for your parents house. What a great way to spend time together. Thank you for all your inspiration. One say when you give onto Aaron and when your children are older and you want to keep them home and have their friends choose your house to hang out they do make natural looking pools. Ones that look like rec pond but have no eco system, our friends had one put in. It has a gradually slope entry like a beach which travels to the deep end. The liner is dark so it looks like you are entering a natural pond. They have plants and rock landscaped edges to give it a more natural look. However it still has all the filters to keep it clean.
Yeah, the food bank should have just blown her off rather than call Andrews. People are too polite to this kind of nonsense. Too many people feel entitled to complain like this, now. Time for some pushback.
Happy Sunday morning! ❤ I loved this recap. It was a lot of fun. The banter between you two is great. Interesting subjects like the food bank lady. Why didn't she just message you a suggestion??? I guess some people like to stir the pot.😊 Have a wonderful week❤
I love watching you guys…your banter makes me laugh! If you are ‘convinced’ to do a pool, consider salt and get a cover to avoid possible accidents…and avoiding constant worry.
I cannot believe that people make such negative comments about you and your business. If they have watch your videos any amount of times, know how truly generous and kind heart that you and Aaron have. Thank you so much for showing that a moral, hard working, and loving family can still be a great example in this crazy world. 🥰
Loved your response to "feeding " the pigs! I agree...it's good to give to others without telling everyone...it's biblical to give without expecting acknowledgement! I admire how willing you are to share!
Since there was a night with no video, one of your original May garden tours was on from 7 years ago! Wow, watching how the yard has changed was amazing. Around every corner, something was very different. So much improvement removing stray structures! The gazebo area was crammed with walkways and clutter Congrats on a resounding success!
Oh Laura, your hair always looks so beautiful. This was a great video to watch, you had so many great things that you shared and talked about and both you and Aaron laughed at some of the things you were talking about. I really love the look of around your house and all of the beautiful flowers and trees and bushes and pots and plants. Those blackberries looked so delicious and I loved seeing you pick them and then take them to your mom's garden center to share with so many people. I also smiled and laughed when Aaron said how much he loved your sourdough bread, I love a delicious sourdough bread. You really have a great channel and people that are harsh with words and being critical should not cause any problems with you and be so ridiculous. Thanks so much for sharing so many wonderful things, I have learned alot watching your channel. 🥰😂💜💜💜💜💜
“but mom, you always tell me you have eyes in the back of your head” said my 5 yr. old when I stepped back onto her toes. Love you guys and appreciate you sharing your joy.
I watch every video and I am not a gardener. I enjoy the sweet way you deliver content. In a world of ugliness and Food Bank Karens you are a welcome place to land. Your success in living your passion is so wonderful. Your property is so beautiful. The pond is AMAZING. People who snark about you getting discounts or even freebies don't know how You Tube and the value of content creators work. A company giving you something that you mention on your channel is worth a lot of business to them. We get the benefit of finding out about good products we need to solve a problem. The Snarkers and the Karens need to tune into some channel for complainers.
I watched a video on fountains, and learned you can direct the pour with silicone at the junction where the water pours. Pretty neat idea. Just a dab, or two, depending on the amount of water streaming off at the junction. Sometimes, maybe even most times the pour or water stream drops and the water goes under the bowl, or it just slightly pours into the bowl below, but with the silicone dabbed at the tip or junction you can direct the pour to your liking. Hope that makes sense!
It's good that you mentioned the woman with no boundaries, concerning the Oregon Food Bank spectacle. It reminds us of who we share the planet with so we aren't shocked when they come out of the woodwork. 😂 Your decision to not respond at all is GOLDEN. Good job, Laura!
Exactly! The pool makes going to the grandparents house even more special. You would likely spend less time at your parents house if you had a pool of your own. Besides, you already have enough to take care of and plan to have horses! Maybe your new pond design could accommodate what Aaron really wants for himself from the water even if it doesn’t accommodate the whole family. A place he could take a quick dip to cool off whenever he wants.
OMGoodness! That woman calling the Oregon Food Bank. What nerve! Does SHE donate food and other items that SHE has grown or paid for? People should mind their own business nowadays.
For real. There's got to be something else going on there because mentally healthy people do not do things like that. Absolutely delusional behavior.
So many busy bodies that need to stay in their lane. Get a life they need to go work for the food bank.
This “ lady “ has a Robin Hood Complex 🙄🙄 you do you and give to whom ever you want !!!!
Perfectly said!@@laurelrosegardens6454
We have too many people who want to complain about something. They must be miserable people.
I'm the grandma with a pool. It's a magnet. It's how I see family members more frequently during the summer. Let your parents be the pool people. You are building special memories.
Great comment! Grandparents homes are so special ❤️
It made me smile and say “awww” when Aaron said your first sourdough was the best bread he’s ever had 🥹
My husband says that same thing every time 😂❤
I totally agree with Laura. Don't have a pool. Benjamin and Samantha will have such great memories of visiting their grandparents and swimming in their pool. Going over there for a swim will always be an occasion. If they have their own pool the novelty will soon wear off.
I disagree ....get a pool, my kids love a pool and invite all their friends...so much fun all Summer! And pool are easy to maintain.
Yes,the time spent at the grandparents is priceless! NOTHING is worth diminishing that. ❤
I rarely comment, but I have to agree with the person who said people should mind their own business. The entire Garden Answer family seems like the most amazing, loving, and gracious family. SO well said. I share your sentiments, exactly!

Tattling on you to a food bank is craaazzzzy 😅
Right??? Next level internet Karen virtue warrior
Bordering on stalking!😮
Makes me wonder what that conversation would sound like. Why did they even call? Just tell her to mind her own business?
What did that Karen expect?? The food bank to come over with a truck and the police and demand her extra food? I'm sure they probably give them plenty already and just don't crow about it.
Laura, you and Aaron give so much of your life to the world. Really. No one should be criticizing you, no one should be calling people on you! Lol I think that was absolutely ridiculous! That’s pathetic.
Ditto!
Goober!!🤪
Blessed people don’t have to show why they are blessed. You are good, Laura.
Blessed? More like reward from hard work. Who is not blessed? How do you get blessed? You put words together that mean nothing. Also she makes a living making RUclips videos for public consumption. Insane commenter 😵💫
Mind your own biscuits
Wow the cranks were in fine form this week. Maybe they should all take up baking sourdough so they have something to do other than gripe.
This is hilarious 😂 agreed
😂
I have to say the story about Benjamin and Samantha with the bat brought me back to my childhood. My sisters and I were playing ball, I was like 7 years old. My sister is a lefty, well I was standing behind her on the wrong side. Went to school with a black eye! Life happens and I’m happy to see your kids are playing together outside and enjoying their best life!
To the person asking how you can get hit by a baseball bat by accident ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME 🤨 that's why it's called an accident 🙄
One of my sons nailed one of his sisters with a golf club once when they were young. Right in the mouth. Fortunately no lost teeth. He didn’t realize she was there

My name is Karen & I would never call a food bank... 😢
I just can't believe the gall of some people with the questions they ask or the comments they give. I love that you and Aaron can laugh it off. Carry on. You are all doing great.
I love people and animals. Both need food. Thank you for thinking of and providing food for both. And your channel is food for the soul.
Yay Aaron! Someone else who doesn’t like pie!! 😊
Why did you reply to a completely random comment with this
Enjoy your parents pool!
My name is Karen & I would never do that. 😢
We love what yall do but honestly family is everything. I am so glad you guys are starting to take time to just enjoy life.
You are never negative..just honest but in a tactful manner. Responding gives them validation

Omg I love you two! That’s all….love you two, your entire family and this channel of pure pleasure ❤
Aaron and Laura,
Don’t let those couple of comments from people who chose to pass their judgment on you rent any space in your head.
You do so much good in the community that you don’t publish and we all have had our bumps and bruises of childhood mishaps, inevitable.
❤️❤️
Also, what Laura said about having a pool would possibly take away from the amount of time spent with Nana and Papa at their pool. when my girls were young we lived in a place where we could not have a kiddie pool, we lived near my parents and set up a pool their for them….we took them just about every day at that pool for all day fun and they still talk about all the great memories today 😊
That's right Laura, about giving things away. A true philanthropist remains anonymous.❤
Good job Aaron for saying " not showing the video"... of Samantha getting hit.
Q&A episode 9 showed up on my feed randomly yesterday and I rewatched to see Benjamin as a baby again. Turns out in that video you said what your Realistic and your Fantasy Goals were… and you’ve accomplished them both!! Congratulations🎉🎉
I couldn’t believe how many of her goals she accomplished when I watched that episode!
Pigs need love too. Holy moly some people. You are amazing for all you give away.
Laura.. 100% agree with you about pools…. Good reason to spend time at your parents’ place and give the kids memories.
Just hoping to brighten someone’s day
After watching the tea/coffee party video I ended up purchasing a subscription to Victoria magazine and I can't wait for it to arrive! :)
I love your thought on the pool, as a grandma I love when the grands come and swim, it's a special time, if they had their own pool it wouldn't be the same..
GOOD ON YOU AARON for expressing how you felt about Laura’s first attempt at making sour dough bread!
BEST RECAP EVER! 😂
You two are hilarious.
I loved at the end of the pool vs. boxwoods conversation when you just looked straight at the camera. ❤
Southern Living Fried Green Tomatoes
3 medium sized green tomatoes - cut into 1/3 in slices & placed into paper towels to help absorb excess water
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, divided
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Homemade Remoulade
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 5 mins
Total time: 10 mins
Serves: 1½ cups
Ingredients
• 1 cup of mayonnaise
• 2 tbsp creole mustard (can use Dijon)

• ½ tsp Worchestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Add everything to a mixing bowl, & do just that. Mix, and mix well until everything is incorporated, and smooth.
2. Transfer the mixture to a sealable container, and store in the refrigerator.
3. This should store well for up to 2 weeks.
Thank you.
Thank you!! Great recipe!!
This is my kind of recipe too! I do this, just without the recipe card!(im from the southern state of Arkansas) bon appetite
@@jans8790 I’m just a hop skip & jump away in Vicksburg Mississippi!!!
😂 Delish!
Love listening to the 2 of you go back and forth. Got some laughs today as well as info on plants.
The word you’re looking for to describe the person who called the food bank is UNHINGED!!!!
I LOL literally when Aaron said “That’s messed up!” 🤣🙃
😂😂
This was the best recap…genuine and real life! You keep doing you and enjoy life! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That’s right, Laura, it takes a second for kids grabbing things they shouldn’t when working with electrical equipment or battery operated tools. Bravo for you in keeping your kiddos safe!
AuTUMnal :) I missed you guys even though it was only one day. So glad you all got away to relax and have some fun!
I love this video. The humor turned on the weird or negative comments was awesome. 😂❤❤❤ You too are so good together. 😂❤
Watching and listening to you and your family makes my life so much happier and hopeful. Thanks Laura, Arron and extended family members!🌻
I too have creeky stairs ! Love them,I’m with you Laura lets you know where kids etc are in the house!
Yep, especially when they get a little older, no teenager sneaks out of my house to a late night party 😂
Makes me so heart sore that people have to be so ugly to one another - but I saw another lovely content creator say this week that 'hurt people hurt people' .... thank you Aaron and Laura for sharing your craft and your hearts with so many of us who appreciate your company! 💜💜💜💜
I love recaps like these! You two crack me up 😂
So glad you were able to take a mini getaway ❤
Hilarious! Someone questioned the veggies going to feed Bethany’s pigs?! 😂🤣😂 I needed that laugh this morning ❤
You are so humble , it would not be a big deal showing what you share from your gardens . But , you do you and ignore the hate comments . 💕
This was actually a very fun recap! You both are so authentic and fun. Glad you are able to let the crazy judgmental comments roll off you back!
Good morning from humid N. GA ☀️I’ve always thought it’s pronounced “au-TUM-nal”
Awe-tum-null
Yeah, I’m so glad you had a little family vacation. ❤ I hope you all had fun, but I did miss your movie 🍿 on Friday! 😂
This video was really fun, you guys cracked me up, I can see your little getaway really was relaxing. Good for you guys you deserve it.
You guys are hilarious!! I love hearing your “discussions” on issues such as a pool & boxwoods 😂
Oh a little sass and sarcasm this week. Love it!
Beautiful.people, beautiful family , beautiful gardens. Thank you for entertaining me almost everyday.
I off the chain loved the flower arrangements, and was particularly inspired by your use of blue and orange in such a lush and grounded way. Looooovvvveee.
Laura, it’d be fun to enter your onions into your county fair! 🎡 The kids might enjoy.
I have to tell you I was BLOWN AWAY when I first saw you driving a fork lift like a BOSS!
Thank you for sharing your lives and your joy. Love to your family!
In regards to the woman calling the food bank…..the Bible says to do what we do in secret. We aren’t supposed to toot our own horn. You are absolutely right to not draw attention to yourself. Some maybe but not make it all about what you’re doing. You were right to ignore!
Also in the Bible,, St Paul said to be busy but not a busybody!
Oh my goodness! Never a dull moment for you two. I love your channels and to heck with the people who try to dump on you!
I think watching you harvest whatever is relaxing to watch but the onions is a top video.
We trust what you promote, it is understandable out of stock issues!!!!
What did Karen expect? Did she really think there is food bank police to come to your house with a warrant to confiscate your harvest.
Yeah, the food bank should have just blown her off rather than call Andrews. People are too polite to this kind of nonsense. Too many people feel entitled to complain like this, now. Time for some pushback.
😂👍🏼
Right! So ridiculous.
It’s unbelievable that people think they can just tell you what to do with anything you own. Crossed a line!
My name is Karen & I would never do that. 😢 yikes!
Dreaming of onion rings with those huge diameter onions, Laura!!
Happy Sunday morning! ❤ I loved this recap. It was a lot of fun. The banter between you two is great. Interesting subjects like the food bank lady. Why didn't she just message you a suggestion??? I guess some people like to stir the pot.😊 Have a wonderful week❤
Aaron said, “ that’s messed up” 😂😂😂😂😂 feed those pigs Laura! ❤🐷🐖 y’all are such a blessing to your community and all of us.
I love watching you guys…your banter makes me laugh! If you are ‘convinced’ to do a pool, consider salt and get a cover to avoid possible accidents…and avoiding constant worry.
The big ladies bust to your right looks so pretty. The plant behind her head on the shelves would look so pretty in her head. ❤
The gazebo area was crammed with walkways and clutter
Congrats on a resounding success!
Your decision to not respond at all is GOLDEN.
