I don't mind watching you all do van chores, i.e., Clean the van, and fill up on water and groceries. I think it reminds us that vanlife isn't always about the highlights. It makes your content more down to earth, and I enjoy that.❤

You are too kind. there are a lot of mundane tasks with vanlife but it's all part of it!
We have the harnesses from Lynwood cat jackets on Etsy the leashes are just 10 foot retractable leashes!
As far as sharing spots, I've been working on a way to do this ethically. Since we can't really control how many people end up viewing a video like this we try to limit talking about specific spots or location especially free ones. They can get easily overrun if there isn't a budget to maintain them. I've thought about making this something that is accessible through our patreon (for free) just so it isnt going to as large of an audience.

Well sir, Im new and truly enjoying ya’lls videos your share, and I may not know much about you guys. But to say your abusing those cats I would say to those individuals that they need to shut their traps, you both obviously care much for the both of them and they surely do not seem to be lacking in any department. The wife and I and our two huskies just ended a almost 2wk trip out in Moab Utah, and all its NPs / SPs it has to offer we even got a boondock site near goblin valley our first day. We are truly jealous of you all to have the ability to consistently enjoy that life our two weeks for sure lit a fire 🔥 in us and we are looking to increase our time living as we did these past few weeks. Thank you for sharing this as usual.

This is a good question! We always have a farm in reach on hand just in case. However we have Starlink flat mounted on our van so we actually have a Wi-Fi network when we drive! For hiking we use AllTrails 😊 Thanks for watching!
Where did you guys get your skylight ? I’m trying to find a good and affordable one for my van that I’m going to be converting.!
We used a boat hatch instead of a camper skylight! The Heki midi or heki mini are great options as well!

Aw thank you so much! And yes this place is amazing! This is the pico presso by wacaco and we really like it! It’s a bit of a process but it’s actually meant so that you can pack it and bring it on a hike if you wanted to and get a fresh shot of espresso at the end! 😊

The walk today was definitely worth the effort. Being from New Zealand we are used to greenery so a desert oasis is a bit new to us.
We want to come to New Zealand so badly! 😊
NZ is vanlife paradise, way much organized than here in Canada or USA. Been there 3 weeks on South Island and dreaming to get back ASAP
Been daydreaming about doing the van life with our dog, but we have a kid on the way... Might make things complicated haha
It might but it could also be fun! We’ve meant a few families on the road and they are always so rad!

Honestly the whole thing was just a little overwhelming. Having done this for a while now we aren’t the biggest fan of national parks. The free camping is also usually about 30-45 minutes down a dirt road and pretty busy. We had fun in Moab but didn’t enjoy it as much as we expected.
