Easy Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

- Ingredients
6 - 8 chicken tenderloin pieces, Uncooked
1 10 oz package of frozen broccoli, thawed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese
2 - 3 tablespoons of milk
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Place chicken in an 8x8 baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Place broccoli on top of chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
3. In a small bowl, stir together soup, sour cream, cheese and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over chicken and broccoli. Top with ritz crackers.
4. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly in the center.

So I’ve followed your recipe. It’s fairly close to how my mom made it, but it I found I prefer using fresh broccoli instead of frozen. Gives it a nice crunch.

I made this today, I used mayonnaise like your grandmas recipe since that’s what I had on hand and added garlic powder to the seasoning on the chicken. I also swapped in cream of mushroom as you recommended. I loved it, super easy and delicious for the family on a busy day. Thank you so much 😊🫶!!

I use mayo instead of sour cream, and i add two tbs fresh squeezed lemon juice. It's my go to comfort food

This is horrible recipe. You use raw chicken? You have to sauté it first with onions then do layers to bake. Your recipe is lazy recipe. I would never eat that.
