Yeah I was also hoping they would have fixed these damn crashes on the ally with steam support but I guess hopefully with it being on steam it’ll get more attention on the problem

So it works at 60fps No crashes etc ? Someone was telling its linked to RDNA3 chip sets etc as on my pc which is nvidia I'm playing at 4k 120fps no issues
@@mrbayramplays I also bought it on Steam, and unfortunately I can't play it on my Ally, even if I set the fps to 60 it doesn't work, and even with or without a refresh rate ;( absolutely sad...
While I agree with you guys that the hardware shouldn't matter, valve does actively work with developers to optimize and make sure the games released do work well on their hardware. This is something that you won't see from other hardware makers like Lenovo or Asus, because these type of things are out of their hands mostly. So that is one benefit of owning a steamdeck, even if it's power isn't as strong as the competition.
Oh yeah I absolutely agree that obviously steam deck will be a big factor to get support for devs for certain issues but this is a amd issue mainly a rnda 3 issue that square haven't bothered to fix since the epic store version which I find kind of bad to then port it to a new store front knowing people will buy this and will have issues etc. But I honestly respect your comments and agree that deck will definitely get more dev love then other devices
@@mrbayramplays I would say the main differentiating factor between the deck and the windows handhelds when it comes to stuff like that is valve has full control over the OS, while Asus/Lenovo etc are just hardware makers. So they can always crank up more specs and power but the software side will always be a weak point since they're at the mercy of windows.

hilarious , don't expect square to patch anything for a specific Asus device, some of the comments here are ridiculous "They need to fix it!" Get a grip why would anyone buy a Asus device to start with, reap what you sow .

Yeah same I someone mentioned it seems to be an issue on RDNA3 cards so hopefully now its on steam they can bring attention to it and fix it

gotta play capped at 60 cause there's a weird issue going above it, they need to fix it.

I'm all the way to hollow bastion in Kingdom hearts 1 with only one crash with Ursula
4 hrs in kingdom hearts 3 no crashes
Yeah KH3 seems to be ok for some reason which I guess is good news
So do the Kingdom Hearts 1-3 play better on the steam then?
