Totally agree, I still love the original trooper LOVE the new stormtrooper. Wish I didn't go all in on the original and buy 20+ lol. I don't miss the holster. 😎😎😎😎 Outta 5
Yeah, the original release was fantastic, but these new ones are probably the best Black Series figs to date. I passed up the chance to get four more and now I'm kicking myself.
Yeah, unfortunately the Black Series as a whole is becoming light on accessories there days - and the ones that aren't are billed as "deluxe figures" with $5-10 added to the price.
I much prefer the original. It's has that ANH look about it. The helmet on the new one has bad painted teeth and the black brow if poor too. The helmet shape just seems really off. The articulation is great though
I really like the new stormtrooper overall but there are a few things that I cant overlook. I miss the holster and I just think it's cheap not to include it. The material used on the new trooper feels cheap and rubbery. My shoulder armor ring already ripped which is a bummer. I fear it'll wear out much faster. Also the exclusion of the longer rifle stinks.

hye just wanna ask, is the size of the black series strom trooper and hot toys the same?
No, Black Series are 1:12 scale (roughly 6" tall), whereas Hot Toys are 1:6 scale (roughly 12" tall).
Wait but David, doesnt the older release come up with that extra bigger gun though? Why didnt the mando storms come with the same double set of guns?
