Hi Voro, I'm flying an Edge 540 v3 1200mm, 1250kv w/13x4e apc style prop. powered w/ 2200mah 4s battery. I was using a 12x6, but suspected that the trouble I was having getting a decent hover was a combo of too much torque on the plane, and not enough air over my surfaces. The 13x4 works much better! I've never seen the issue of prop choice addressed. Would you please do so? Perhaps at the same time, you could give some pointers for arriving at an ideal cg for some of the more commonly popular 3D type planes.
this is a deceptively easy looking manuever. why is it so difficult. i just cannot get my head / thumbs around it. thanks for the tutorials vororc. as a request, have you done one on the lomcevak group of manuevers. i cannot see it in your list. cheers
Finally got it after practicing about 4 hours last night. I have Real Flight and finding the right plane on Knife Edge software seems difficult. Some fly totally not like the real thing too floaty
I'm a big fan of you. You'r maneuver is so amazing. Im so sorry but, can you upload new video about 'Rolling Loop' ? I want to do this maneuver Thank you so much
In what order should I watch your videos in order to try to learn and better myself in 3D flying? I have RF7. Any plane recommendations on planes I should learn with? Thanks George
the extra 330s 3d is prolly the best one I've found thus far. docile, yet very responsive. great for learning the dread rolling harrier, imo. good in the knife edge spin and excels in the flat spins.
btw, go with the easier maneuvers first, cuz if you try the tougher ones first, you will get discouraged fast. easier ones are blenders and pop tops, flat spins, waterfalls, walls, harriers and knife edges. save the rolling harriers for last, while practicing 4 point rolls (the slower the better and keep them at a uniform atitude and straight). doing inverted figure eights, while keeping them level and at a uniform altitude, is great prep work, also. ~jmho~
I guess not haha. I Didn't even realize I was doing it till I uploaded the video.
It's a serious addiction haha

Great stuff. one of the more difficult maneuvers I find. Any chance you can do a video how to do that harrier rolling loop. that is amazing!

Would you post the plane file that you are using? The planes in real flight won't do the 3D maneuvers. Thanks
They're nice videos.

What version of Phoenix are you flying?
hey Voro, when are you gonna be online again?
Hey ! What kind of Sim are you using in your vids?
Phoenix
What aeroplane is Voro using in this video.
It is a Shuriken (fictitious plane) the best for 3D in the PhoenixRC hanger.
What sim is this?
Can you share the model attributes?

Plz teach the cobra spin
You just can't help your self, dragging the rudder and such.
thank u.
i have been flying around 8 months.
can ya do one with a jet
Maybe a 3D jet
game name??
voro you fly nice!
+Bram Lemmen Thanks bro. Good to see you in Phoenix
Whaaat never thought you was the real
+VoroRC
Do you like the "new" version of phoenix?
Imo, the older ones were better, because now the physics arent really good
Extremely difficult, I could not replicate this. U go way too fast for me.
