i realize there are a ton of games out there but i can't believe i've never heard of any of these games that you feature. they all look soooo dope!!! youre right about that action loop. i've never seen anything like that where you get to build it how you want and it always changes. very cool!

Very unique mechanism for sure! It's such a fun puzzle every time you play. I'm glad you're enjoying the channel! More to come!

Great video! Have had this on my SoS for a couple years but this makes me want to get it to the table more than ever now. Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed! Sometimes I need some RUclips motivation to get my SoS games played, so I'm happy I could provide that! Hope you like the game. It's silky smooth! :)

This one looks excellent! I've prob said this b4 but I really like how you put these videos together. Very detailed & informative. It's easy to hear your voice and visualize what you're saying. I wouldn't even need the rulebook after watching this. Well done!

Thank you for the kind words! I put a lot of effort into making these as clear and understandable as possible, so I'm glad you're enjoying the content. :)

I love Milestones, great game. My bank account loves it too since I already own the game. About half the games you review on your channel I own and the other half I go find a used copy as soon as I see your video!😂

At 23:18 I gave you a shoutout :) Your comment on my Kreta video is the reason I heard of Milestones in the first place, and we are loving this addition to our collection! It's great to interact with fellow gamers who are not caught up in all the latest hype. I feel like there are a lot of us out here who appreciate these older gems, and I'm hoping my channel helps introduce more people to this side of the game industry. I have lots more to share, so stay tuned! :)

Thanks for the shout-out! I got a RUclips notification and commented before I even watched the vid. Stefen Dorra is right up there as one of my favorite designers.

Excellent tutorial; very succinct, clear and understandable. I’ve been curious about this one for a while for its weight. But I’m happy to hear that even though it’s a lighter game, there’s a really crunchy player board rondel mechanic that’s tricky. So, thank you!!

Thanks for watching! I’m glad it was helpful to you. I definitely think this is worth it if you can find it for a good price. That rondel system is so cool (as if I didn’t already say that a million times in the video haha 😅). Let me know how you like it when you get around to trying it out!

Great elegant design. Thanks for covering this game

Thanks for the comment! Yes, elegant is a great word for it! Dorra is one of my all time favorite designers because of the depth he creates with such simple rules. He’s like a lesser known Knizia.

It almost feels like they had a great idea with the rondel system here but nothing to attach it to. Everything else is pretty plain. There's definitely enough game here that I would happily play it if someone brought it out but I don't know if it would sustain my interest after a few plays. I would definitely like to see the rondel idea used in other games either as is or with another twist. Who knows, maybe some of my game design ideas will bear some fruit now that I'm retired. I'll see what I can come up with from this idea.

That would be amazing if you could make that rondel have some more depth supporting it in the rest of the game. You're right, the rest is somewhat plain, but like you said, it's worth playing just for that mechanism. The game was super cheap so it was worth the price of admission. But I can't say it's a must own.
