On another note. If you dont like a small three finger knife with less than a two inch blade then. I recommend a cjrb pyrite. Its a full sized knife.

Thanks man! It's refreshing to to see a content creator tell it like it is.. benchmade has lost their fugging minds on pricing and what their fans really want.. spyderco has said fugg it and went wholeheartedly into sprint runs only. 2 giants in the knife world and both are so out of touch it isn't funny.

you are paying for the name, you can pick up a folder for 40 or 50 bucks that will do the same thing and is just as or even more sturdy. it is now a status symbol. ive seen a 10 dollar d2 steel folder from walmart out last a benchmade in a torture test. i will never buy a benchmade

@@Flesh-Automaton It was probably the Ozark Trail "wugout" (Walmart Bugout) or whatever you want to call it - folder, orange scales, 3.25" blade, D2 steel, "slide lock" aka axis lock, made in China. Overall looks are pretty similar to a Bugout. For $10, it's a pretty good knife for everyday use, don't have to worry about losing it or damaging it for the price, although long term use is still up in the air, since it only came out in August. But finding them is almost impossible, Walmart sold out of the initial run, sold out of the secondary run, and while it's supposed to be a permanent addition to their line, it's probably going to take a while before most Walmarts are able to keep them in stock. There are reviews of it all over RUclips and the internet - part of why it's so hard to find one, the initial reaction was nuts for such a cheap/inexpensive knife.

Compared to BENCHMADE knives I have bought in the past there is just no comparison with today’s knives. The quality just isn’t there anymore. I bought one last year & it was expensive but poorly made. I filed it in my cheap knife box & never carried it once. After this last purchase I will never buy another BENCHMADE knife again. Perhaps one day they will go back to the way they used to be. But like many of today’s products it’s all about saving a buck & getting the maximum profit from that product. So sadly I doubt there will be any improvements in the future.

As a left handed person i loved benchmade, but they have lost the plot. I appreciate what they had done a few years ago, but i will not be looking at there knives again unless something drastic happens. That goes for most companies too. I had hopes for demko but they seem to not understand what materials are good and what they should be priced at.

imo it's far from dumb. it's useful for small tasks and i usually carry it with a larger folder/tactical folder or a fixed blade. sure it's expensive but considering you own a koenig, that's also expensive for "what it is". only m390 on an $800 knife? and it's titanium....whoop de doo lol. aluminum is more than strong enough for most folders and it's lighter. also, adjust the pivot -_-

It's called the "full immunity" because it has full immunity. anyone can carry it anywhere. You could literally carry this into the white house. They were made for the government officials, police, secret service agents. Normally you could not take a knife into places like court house, white house, schools , hospitals. Anywhere with restrictions. But this knife is fully immune to all restrictions. Personally I love mine. Great little knife.

I own 3 Benchmade knives out of about 100 total knives. Benchmade is sooooo overpriced now. You can get a Boker Kalashnikov Auto for about 60 bucks, or if you want to spend more, get a Spyderco Para 3, you can find them for less than $150 if you look around. I daily the Kalash and it takes a beating, just like the AK its named after. Spyderco is great, even in their budget line. Benchmade has priced themselves out of the market, in my opinion. My 3 Benchmades will be the only ones i own. There are better knives for way cheaper

I love mine, I got the full size manual opening version new from a Benchmade AD for $185. IMO it’s an awesome urban EDC, the handle is comfortable and the machining work on the aluminum is excellent and feels great. It’s incredibly slicey and the coating holds up well. The FDE handles IMO look really good. As far as its size is concerned, realistically what do you cut on a daily basis that requires more than 2.5 inches anyways?
The only real issue is the MSRP, but if you can find it heavily discounted like I did, it might be worth your while.

I actually don’t mind small knives, BUT they have to be so well designed and just from watching your video this is not. The design looks like it would work fine if it was bigger. Axis lock looks impractical on such a small knife and the finger grooves force your little finger is forced off the handle. I’ve only got one Chinese knife which I bought quite a while ago and it is half an inch shorter than the Full Immunity overall, but the way the choil is designed combined with the neutral grip means I can get a four finger grip on it comfortably. Liner lock is much better on such a small knife too. All that said it really just gets used for opening packages now and then. I’d have sold it but for the amount of money I’d get for it I just haven’t bothered yet. I’d really rather a nice slipjoint for that kind of use. I did stop buying smaller knives after my third small Sebenza because I like bigger knives more now too, but I did recently buy a TRM Neutron 2 with titanium scales and that thing is really handy, but still that’s got a 3” blade (same as small Sebenza, but thinner blade stock and overall, so a much better size than these ridiculously small knives. The TRM is actually a very useable little knife - definitely more usable than this little Benchmade and if you go with the G10 version id bet it’s cheaper than the Benchmade too... and still made in the USA. Of course if you can carry a bigger knife where you live and really hate small knives altogether there’s always the atom which is pretty similar in design but bigger.

Aluminum scales come on gas station knives.. If you put this next to a CJRB Alt Hectare and asked the average knife user which one cost $270 they would pick the CJRB 10/10. Also, many BM's and Spydies have become Hummel collecting.. You buy an expensive piece and it goes "into the collection".. Very few people can afford to lose or damage $300 pocketknives, and the anxiety and anger when it happens isnt worth it for almost everyone. Buying stuff to impress other dudes is red flagging your insecuruty. No ones impressed, in fact 99.9% of dudes will look at and go, cool pocketknfe.. And if you try to bragg and tell them its a $300 knife theyll think your a gullible moron and try and sell you their 2006 Chrysler 300 for $15k.

It's hilarious when everyone talks about price when they have thousands of dollars in knives they never use anymore. now to answer your question. It's made for government officials. Title 18 USC Sec. 930 allows 2 1/2 on federal property. And being someone who works on federal property and having a knife thats 2.49", this is perfect. But also it allows you to be legal in pretty much everyone city and state in america. Hence "immunity" because it's pretty much immune everywhere because of it's size.
But regardless of all that. I'll laugh again and say it's so F'ing dumb that hypocrites complain about price of anything that's a hobby to most online when you have hundreds and thousands of dollars of crap you just simply don't use. Do you know whats really dumb? Whats really stupid? Being a youtuber complaining about something that you had all the power in the world not to get, get it and then still complain about price especially as a hobbiest. You either buy it or you don't and the only really why any hobbiest either buys or doesn't buy is because they want to or don't want to. Plain and simple.
