The fact that they’ve reunited and have managed to work through their issues speaks a lot for the woman they’ve become. I hope they finally get to release a proper album soon.
@@andrewlong3073 If reuniting was all about money I’m doubtful they would have stuck together through a lukewarm comeback single and 2 albums worth of material being leaked.
Those harmonies when they are 14 were amazing! Even better now. So glad to have these 3 back. Cannot wait to see what music they release. God New Year and Run for Cover literally saved me 20 plus years ago. Music really does help you heal. X
@@andrewturvill7145 ❤️ IT!!! Cant wait 4 the footage, do u kno all MKS material?? Im expecting them to perform Flatline & No Regrets but itll b so dope if we get more of the Unreleased
It's mad how young they were. They're massive industry veterans yet still so young. It feels special that even though they're voices have aged and got stronger, they still sound the same.
I love this lineup. Siobhan is Irish, Mutya is Irish/Filipino, I’m Filipino/Irish and share the same birthday as Keisha, I feel so connected with the group! 🙈
I am so glad that someone is putting this together. I was gonna try to do it but the timelines were crazy (and living in America put me at a slight disadvantage). When you get to 'Three' make sure you touch on their attempted US release (I have the promo copy of the album where it lists the song as 'Round and Round' and indicates it was their "first album in America" (One touch was released over here so it is factually incorrect). Cant wait to keep watching!
There will never ever be another music trio that will come anywhere near close to having a very powerful unifying bond like the Sugababes. It was very evident and clear from the moment they first faced the television cameras in 2000 that Keisha, Siobhan and Mutya wanted to show what they could do and they haven't disappointed. They have cemented their place in music history and their legacy is already assured for future years to come. Reuniting after nearly 12 years and to still have the energy levels to create more wonderful works is a testament to their powers which still to this day never diminish. They create from the heart and through inspiration. They deserve everything good and positive that comes the way because they continue to develop and work hard on their craft.
I love these documentaries! Keep it going cause it keeps me entertained at work. Also Real Thing should have been a single. It has both pop and rnb elements that the group and record label wanted to go for. So its a win win situation for both parties.
What I love about their upcoming tour is that Siobhan is finally gonna get the recognition she deserves. It's already happening I suppose, when you see their live performances she gets cheers whenever she sings Heidis parts. Love it. Love them. Got my tour tickets the second they were released.
Omg where is the "I don't wanna wait" and "look at me" etc performances from? Love this doc! Thanks for creating this! Love the idea of an episode per album era.
Thanks for this documentary I unfortunately only discovered the Sugababes 5 years ago after hearing Round Round on a Top Gear special. Hopefully I’ll make it to one of their shows someday. Love from Texas USA.
Remarkable video documentary. I followed the original line-up from the beginning and lost interest afterwards (too commercial? or my own growing up). I was glad in the end that Siobhan had left as she produces one good album and one masterpiece album. Anyway, thanks for putting this together! Great job!
Revolution in Me was not just “good” - it was amazing! Some days I prefer it to Ghosts tbh. Haha. Yeah, I think specifically after the Three era, the Sugababes got a lot poppier and not always for the better. I’ve enjoyed their stylistic shifts throughout the line-up changes and I have to say their first two albums but specifically One Touch are the quintessential Sugababes sound.
@@fajarzakri4936 Ok I'll agree Revolution in Me was a very good album (As You Like it being one of my favourite songs). I just wanted to evidence how Ghosts was otherworldly, the production was exquisite, and not expected of her at the time.
I love how Siobhan states her name clearly get the narrator pronounces it wrong 😂 it’s also my name and I literally had to announce how to pronounce my name at my school in England lol. It’s von not vaughn for clarification :) love this video! Lots of details I didn’t know
I really liked the original line up, which sucks in early 2000s that it didn't work because their music were way ahead of their time, and too mature for them... but Heidi came around and they hit their peak. But the music they released were too commercial and too pop, well for me anyways. If you compare One Touch to AWDF it sounded like released by two different groups, and I prefer and will always prefer One Touch.
Isn't it amazing how so many UK Groups almost meet in school. In The US, Justin Timberlake (N'Sync), Joe McIntyre (New Kids On The Block) and even Justin Beiber had to work very hard on their academics but it paid off because they all graduated with high marks
Siobhan leaving/ escaping the sugababes was the best thing for them, excellent singer but I don't want to consider a universe where hole-in-the head, round round, too lost in you and all their other hits didn't happen. 2002-2009
In those pictures of Mutya with the short, razor-edged hair-do, she looks a lot like the Kelli Ali the vocalist from Sneaker Pimps. Kelli had a similar look in the videos for Six Underground and Spin Spin Sugar.
I really feel like if these girls got adequate support mentally and had no meddling from others they would have been fine BUT maybe wouldn’t have been as big as they were.
Not sure why the UK didnt receive "one touch album" ?. There were some good UK contemporary pop hits on the track, it should had deserved more credits..
Lol lol 😂 as an adult watching this, it’s so obvious that Keisha was such a bully. Siobhan just looks so uncomfortable in the later interviews. I think Heidi worked because she’s clearly confident while Siobhan looks more sensitive type. Good thing karma got Keisha back in the end but I wonder how Siobhan felt as Sugababe became more popular and popular
As someone who grew up with their music, I love that someone has made a documentary series on them😍😍.
I appreciate One Touch so much more all these later. Especially after seeing them perform so many of the songs from it at their O2 show.
The fact that they’ve reunited and have managed to work through their issues speaks a lot for the woman they’ve become. I hope they finally get to release a proper album soon.

MUTYA WAS STUNNING... LOVED HER EVEN WITHOUT KNOWING WHO SHE WAS.
Only the universe knows how 'Run for Cover' didn't enter the Top 10...

It should have been their second single.

Soul sound as the 4th single was the worst decision, when i got the One Touch album that was the only song i would skip past

New Year is my fave song from the album. I'm kinda sad that it's not being sung as much now as it's one of the group's best singles vocally.
