Keisha has an amazing voice. It’s the most distinct to me actually. She hits the high notes and rifts effortlessly. But Mutya’s voice is still my favorite.
I feel Keisha is the foundation on which Mutya can shine. Mutya's voice is very unique and doesn't blend well with all voice types but Keisha's voice is perfect to blend with Mutya. So Keisha is the perfect group voice while Mutya has the most stand out solo voice in my opinion. That is also why Mutya had the most successful solo-career out of all the Sugababes.
Mutya is the reason the band stood out. Hands down no doubt about it. She offers something to a girl group sound that we don’t regularly hear. That deep sultry voice. So edgy but still pop. Mutya is my number one.
I have to agree.. After she left.. It's not the same anymore.. When they released change album it's not the same anymore..their best albums are taller in more ways angels with dirrty faces and three
I think Mutya is the best solo singer but Keisha is definitely the strongest vocalist overall and especially for a group. Keisha has the consistency, power and right tone to carry and blend together all voices in no matter which line-up. Mutya's voice is very unique and makes the Sugababes stand out but her voice doesn't blend well with all voices. Keisha is the foundation on which Mutya can shine.
Mutya for me- her pitch, tone and control is consistent live and on record. While her range isn't as wide as the other girls she's the most soulful/ unique voice of the sugababes
I'm in Australia and when Ghosts was released I absolutely RAVED about it (but unfortunately no-one knew who she was). It continues to be one of my favourite albums. Just spectacular!
@Stephen Elizága No, that wasn't why she left at all. And it just isn't even true. If anything, she was more prominent in song arrangements than Mutya or Keisha were at that time.
My new order: Mutya - rich, consistent, unique Keisha - unmistakeable, riff-queen Siobhan - soothes, adapts, blends Jade - powerful, capable, indistinct Amelle - textured, diction-impaired Heidi - studio angel, stage demon Keisha and Mutya are the hallmarks of the Sugababes sound. When Mutya left, it was severely diminished. When Keisha left, it wasn't the Sugababes at all.
This is correct. As someone said about Heidi, it is very obvious which of the current three was formerly in Atomic Kitten.... Siobhan holds it down on those harmonies. I'd say Kiesha is the lynch-pin vocally and Mutya is the lynch-pin "vibe" wise.
Personally, my favourite line up was Mutya, Heidi and Keisha. Heidi may not have been as strong a singer as Jade but I like her softer tone and think she had prescense and beauty. Mutya's voice is so instantly recognisable and I love her song "this is not real love" with George Michael. And my favourite sugababes song is "About you now"..and also "lost in you"
I feel bad for Jade: vocally she's phenomenal, and it's a shame she was jammed into the group at its lowest point and she never truly recovered from there. With a voice like that, I wish she'd stuck to her solo career. Probably she does too.
I appreciate you breaking things down and explaining your choices. I personally would've swapped Mutya and Keisha as I've a preference for Mutya's husky tone but this is your list! Nicely done - nice Overload cover too!
Everyone seems to be slightly biased towards Mutya because of her unique tone and appeal, but an unpopular opinion i completely agree with this list and I think Keisha should be first! Her belts just are so full and soulful to me and she always seemed more of the “vocalist” when Sugababes were starting. After also hearing their flowers cover live, Keishas beginning belt was so pleasant and her ease was great!
Agree with your list and your reasons. Keisha was very consistent. Plus amazing at Adlibs also. I think she really sold middle eights when she did them. It is a hard choice between her and Mutya. Mutya’s voice tone is absolutely divine but I think Keisha edges it because of vocal range and gymnastics.
Great review and I agree with you almost 100% but personally, Mutya's voice always stood out to me and I think it certainly outshone Keisha's. Nobody could riff as beautifully as she did and her tone was just so distinct - in my mind, no other member could top Mutya when it came to vocal ability. I liked Heidi's voice too but she was definitely hit and his when singing live so I do agree with her positioning. Can't wait to see more Sugababes!
What I think is the most important thing here is that we see 6 amazing, distinctive voices that also gave us what, 4? outstanding harmony make-ups. Keisha's made the biggest progress, to be honest she used to be crap in the beginnings. Mutya's voice has changed a bit, it got somewhat deeper, but she's always been consistently stunning, and effortlessly so. Siobhan for me has since the beginning been fabulous (in fact, her voice MADE the debut album if you listen carefully - which I think might possibly be why Keisha didn't like her back then), and only grown stronger in power and control. And excuse me, but her solo career showcases outstanding talent and artistic ability none of the other girls have. Siobhan, of them all, can be called a proper artist. Jade is a solo material, with all good and bad that encompasses. Amelle may not have the range, but I liked her tone and every girlband needs a low-end harmony supporter, for that she was ideal after Mutya. And as for Heidi, she may suck live at times (not in slower or acoustic perfomances, mind you!), but when relaxed her voice is distinct, she has warm and interesting lower register and a delightful airy falsetto, she was the touch of sweetness that frankly ALL the other girls missed. They all added their special something, I think it worked enormously well in practically all instances. Sugababes have to me always been a superb showcase of vocal diversity and interplay. Love them all, shall we?
I definitely agree with this list. Keisha's voice was the backbone of the signature sugababes sound. Even when singing in the harmonies or pulled back you could clearly hear her tone and it doesn't surprise me that things just weren't the same without her.
1.Mutya (most distinctive and unique voice, always consistently good live) 2.Keisha (amazing runs and powerful belts, not as strong in the lower parts) 3.Jade (not Sugababes worthy but a fantastic singer) 4.Siobhan (unique tone and styling, powerful but lacks versatility) 5.Amelle (usually delivers well live but generic tone and just not Mutya..) 6.Heidi (sounds great on the record but falls apart live, I do agree she had a big impact in commercializing the band)
Wrote down my order before watching and it’s exactly the same! For me this is definitely the right vocal order especially in respect of their place in the Sugababes
From weakest to strongest: 6) Heidi - Great recording voice, improved a lot as the years have gone by. Live singing is where she's very inconsistent, very seldom she would sound like the actual recording, very forced and unnatural vibrato, voices tends to shake during the end of a note, high harmonies were a bit off at times, she has probably the best falsetto out of all of them, doesn't sound good when singing in lower register. Acoustic performances is where she shines, so a lot of it maybe has to do with the nerves for her, even though she looked the most confident out of all of them. 5) Amelle - I always thought she was good. Very simply, not impressive, not amazing, nor ncredible, just good a singer, perfect for a member of a band. I do agree they were trying to find someone with a husky tone, similar to Mutya's however, I feel as though Amelle really found her own style of singing with her first complete album with the girls. Nice vibrato, riffs aren't as good ( usually in the songs where Mutya was the original singer ), over the years I do believe she has improved quite a bit in terms of the agility of the voice and belting and also her stage presence has gotten better as well. Sounds the best when singing in lower register. 4) Siobhan - As we go down, the list becomes more difficult because I absolutely adore Siobhan's voice. Probably the most emotional singer out of all the members of the Sugababes, I really believe what she sings and has a way of beautifully conveying the message of a song. She was always good, not incredible in the beginning, but my god she has improved immensely.Unlike Amelle who sounded contrived in Mutya's parts, Siobhan shined on Heidi's parts when they did several old school songs and I really enjoyed her own personal touches to Heidi's parts as well, she made it her own. Stage presence however was always, and I feel even today, just awkward. I also believe she is much better off as a solo singer, but maybe that's just my opinion :) 3) Keisha - The best "ad-liber" in the band! Has a distinct recognizable voice in every single song that the girls did, actually one of the great things about Sugababes, you always knew who sang which part, even when they layered up the harmonies. Keisha was the best in terms of singing the highest harmony and amazing at riffing, when ad libing is where is conveyed the emotion of a song the best and also great using her chest voice. Slightly disappointed in her lower register, often she struggled staying in the original key when singing low. Stage presence was always great and she usually was the one who engages with the crowd the most! 2) Jade - Totally underrated. Probably the most strongest voice out of all six members. She has a diva quality to her voice. Definitely not suited to sing in a band and best as a solo singer. I am yet to encounter a performance where Jade was vocally weak with the girls, should have always sung the melody in chorus and never low or high harmony. In fact couple of songs on their last album ( Sweet 7 ), where I think she did great, she breathed life into couple of songs that sounded quite dull with Keisha. Again shines in ad-libs, hence why she I guess replaced Keisha. Sadly, sometimes the lower notes were not well supported. 1) Mutya - The voice of the Sugababes. In terms of her technique, there's not a single bad word I can say. She was consistently amazing and capable of singing the entire song by herself and make it sound great on other girls' parts. Amazing control and tone, an underrated ad-liber! She actually is very good at bringing a song to a climax, which is usually Keisha's role wish she sang on more songs like that. The best lower register out of all the girls, but high notes were impressive as well. Recognizable voice from the beginning, and I loved the fact that she usually was the one to open a song with her part. The only bad part, at times, she lacked emotion when singing and obviously the stage presence was dull even though stage presence has improved since the MKS era.
Siobhan is the most naturally gifted. Kiesha is the best all-rounder and she also has an amazing gospel vibe going on. Mutya has the best vocal range. I do think the original three are the best. However, they are all great in my opinion. Heidi, especially, deserves to have a big future, maybe as a solo artist.
Mutya by far is the best singer for me, she's a natural singer with tone and depth, when she left is really was over cause her talent was unlike any other in the group - SHE was the voice of the Sugababes! :-)
I understand why you have rated them in this order based on what you said but not the clips you have shown. My top 6 purely based on live performances would be : 6. Heidi (great recorded struggles live) 5. Amelle ( not including Mutya songs) 4. Jade (Great voice but you're right her voice doesn't fit with the Sugababes blend of harmonies as it overpowers the others) 3. Siobhan ( Recorded she would be Number 1 and her voice has grown the most but she's up against two amazing singers and it's hard to put any of them above the other honestly cos together they are magic) 2. Keisha. She is the adlib queen and often has the hardest parts and most memorable parts of songs. 1. Mutya. The voice of our generation. Consistent live flawless vocals..never out of tune..never too much or too little always exactly on point whether drunk or sober. The ultimate real girl and most likeable babe. However her solo album although soulful and a good listen just isn't the same. She thrives with Keisha and Siobhan and together they make what dreams are made of.
Honestly i think siobhan is the best out of them. She has good control, vibrato and is really good at delivering a song. In the end shes very versatile. Jade is the best technical singer though
If I would created the list on today’s skill levels Siobhan would be my number one even, I think. Since I started listening to them with Round Round, for me Heidi was always as much a staple as the other two were. But with the OG lineup being together now you can hear the growth to new horizons and I think most of it Siobhan, she connects with her voice the other two so perfectly, blends in, stands out for the right reasons and has a soft but super powerful voice at the same time. I just love her voice so so much.
I am so shocked that Mutya was not #1. If she had the self confidence she could have been a solo superstar. Mutya has that Amy Winehouse one of a kind thing.
I think Georgina has a point by saying that Keisha is the most consistent because she is the backbone of the group and her voice the most versatile. Mutya's voice is definitely the signature voice that makes the Babes stand out but Keisha is the perfect baseline to blend in all the voices no matter which line up it was. Mutya's voice can easily clash with others but Keisha's voice can blend with all of them while adding so much warmth and style. Keisha still has the skill to stand out though when she wants to. So, the skill to blend in and out of the songs makes Keisha the #1 of Sugababes. I looove Mutya's voice too though. My #3 is Siobhan and the rest... I don't really care for.
Mutya has a very distinctive voice. Keisha may be the most technically skilled but her voice alone has a tone that disturbs me after some time. Siobhan was love at first hearing when I discovered her music with Ghosts. That album is just magical, a precious rare gem that came to surface from the depths of the unknown because seems pop and overproduced but in fact has a very alternative sound and still is familiar, with great hooks and melodies. And when you hear Siobhan live and hear that album, you will be pretty sure that it's not overproduced... Her voice is clear as crystal, and her versatility shines throughout the songs. The way she sustain the notes is sublime. On the opposite of Keisha, I can hear Siobhan for hours and feel pleased.
Original lineup was and still is the best. Their chemistry in the complex harmonies is just unmatched - they sound like one voice. Their first album was also the best sound-wise. I preferred the urban tinge before they got too poppy. And the bonus was they looked amazing together - like a United Colours of Benetton ad. They did have a few good tunes after Heidi joined but I never really enjoyed her stylisations (especially the vibrato she overused). Anyway, so glad the original trio are back together again!
I like Mutya's voice the most, but I agree technique wise and ability to adapt in the Sugababes is how I would judge it. I never thought of Jade as a sugababe and amelle's voice never sat quite right with me, because I am such a Mutya fan. I am just sad that Heidi's recording vocals were so good, but her live vocals weren't always the best.
Georgina I love you but Siobhan does not get the recognition she deserves in this channel :( Also, has anyone noticed how amelle in that clip lost the 'husky' tone that made her be compared to mutya smh. Is my life a lie? lol so many questions
My List is 1 Keisha she is a powerhouse 2 Mutya she has a soulful voice 3 Siobhan she has a versatile angelic voice 4 Jade another angelic voice 5 Amelle she has a similar tone like Mutya but it has a jazz fill to it 6 Heidi the weakest voice
I think you did a fantastic assessment, it wasn’t bias. Keisha is by far the most well rounded, she has power range and tone and controlled and consistent.
Even at 14 Mutyas singing ability was second to none. She had a uniquely mature singing voice that far surpassed her young age at the beginning. So as she grew older the tone in her voice became more rich and sultry. that sexy husky voice that is distinct in every track.. Her whole vibe though just gives off laid back and cool, she's that chick you want to set up with your brother lol.
Everyone might have a different opinion about where they’d rank each of the Sugababes, but I think we can all agree that: *_🗣🔊THERE ARE NO WEAK SINGERS IN THE SUGABABES!!!🙌🏾👏🏾🎤🔥✨_*
My personal opinion, purely based on vocal abilities 6 amelle (still my favorite member) 5 siobhan 4 mutya (very distinctive vocal color) 3 heidi (better range than mutya) 2 kesha (definitely the most stable) 1 jade (she’s THE real singer here. Dang)
Pleasantly surprised to see Keisha as number 1 since I always thought she was overlooked in the band, particularly at the start when it was all about siobhan, mutya and then heidi. For me, her voice has also grown and matured the most over the years
Ive always found Keisha to have some of the strongest vocals with fantastic technique but she always seems to let the other girls take the leads and either rif over it or harmonise. I think when Mutya left she picked up a lot of pressure to carry the band with her strong vocals and she did an awesome job it really shows on the songs around that time
1) Mutya 2) Keisha 3) Siobhan 4) Jade 5) Amelle 6) Heidi I Definitely think that Heidi is the weakest, but I really loved her look. But Mutya, is hands down my favorite. Loved this series. Looking forward to another one
I agree with your list upto the top two. I would have put Keisha 2nd and Mutya 1st. But thats my opinion. Great list though. And a great series! Thank you.
1) I gave up the Sugababes when Keisha was kicked out of HER OWN DAMN BAND and so have no real idea other then from this vid of Amelle or Jade and how they fit in. 2) From this one example, Jade has a musical theatre voice not a popular music voice and should not have been with them. 3) Who was hand picked BECAUSE OF HER VOICE by the late great George Micheal (a VASTLY underrated male vocalist outside of his fanbase and certain critics) to duet with him? MUTYA. And her whole album Real Girl is superb. Heidi was chosen as the 'pretty' face of the group not for her voice, I thought she was OK and that is it. Siobhan is the one that harmonised best with Mutya and Keisha and vocally, the three of them were a superior sound even in their teenage years.
A mate of mine was part of the backing band during the time one of the Sugababes got sacked and Jade came. Interesting times when you're on the inside watching the shananigans take place.
I really love all 6 of them but I think nowadays my top list are this: 1. Siobhan 2. Jade 3. Mutya 4. Keisha 5. Amelle 6. Heidi P.s.: I want a reunion with the 6 members! hope so! next year is the 20th anniversary!
Honestly all the originals have good voices all 3 are soulfull you can feel what they are singing, great range and adlibs, Jade can hit high notes but isn't soulfull to me, Heidi only sounds good on slow songs but live she's a hot mess, Amelle no shade but overal so basic
Mutya has the sexiest voice for me. She, to me, made the groups' sound so distinct.
Arian Aries so true wish she had done more solo stuff but guess she didn't put enough effort into it
I feel the same
@Gold Rose Keisha never left she was pushed out 😒
Keisha has an amazing voice. It’s the most distinct to me actually. She hits the high notes and rifts effortlessly. But Mutya’s voice is still my favorite.
I feel Keisha warbles too much. I wouldn’t listen to her solo but the group wouldn’t be the same without her.

Her range is just as good as the others, she just doesn't feel comfortable at the top.
She does all her own high harmonies on her solo album🤷🏾♂️
👌🏽
Siobhan’s solo material is outstanding. Ghosts is one of my favourite albums of all time. It’s a shame more people didn’t hear it.
I'm in Australia and when Ghosts was released I absolutely RAVED about it (but unfortunately no-one knew who she was). It continues to be one of my favourite albums. Just spectacular!
YES!!!
Yesssss i love her Album “Ghost”
@Stephen Elizága no
@Stephen Elizága No, that wasn't why she left at all. And it just isn't even true. If anything, she was more prominent in song arrangements than Mutya or Keisha were at that time.
My new order:
Mutya - rich, consistent, unique
Keisha - unmistakeable, riff-queen
Siobhan - soothes, adapts, blends
Jade - powerful, capable, indistinct
Amelle - textured, diction-impaired
Heidi - studio angel, stage demon
Keisha and Mutya are the hallmarks of the Sugababes sound. When Mutya left, it was severely diminished. When Keisha left, it wasn't the Sugababes at all.
This is a nice take on the matter
This is correct. As someone said about Heidi, it is very obvious which of the current three was formerly in Atomic Kitten.... Siobhan holds it down on those harmonies. I'd say Kiesha is the lynch-pin vocally and Mutya is the lynch-pin "vibe" wise.
Actually I think Mutya riffs better and more naturally than Keisha, who can overdo it.
I really appreciate your description here. Very well considered and thought out.
MY NEW ORDER.................NEW ORDER !!
Personally, my favourite line up was Mutya, Heidi and Keisha. Heidi may not have been as strong a singer as Jade but I like her softer tone and think she had prescense and beauty. Mutya's voice is so instantly recognisable and I love her song "this is not real love" with George Michael. And my favourite sugababes song is "About you now"..and also "lost in you"
Amelle sounded really good on the CHANGE album as she finally got to sing songs meant for her vocal and not mimicking or covering Mutya.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the amount of amazing content we are getting from Georgina!
Siobhan's two albums were actually really good, just not commercial.
I feel bad for Jade: vocally she's phenomenal, and it's a shame she was jammed into the group at its lowest point and she never truly recovered from there. With a voice like that, I wish she'd stuck to her solo career. Probably she does too.
nothing prevented her from having a solo career after disbanding
All good singers in their own way but Mutya is the special one. One of those rare voices that can touch your soul.
My list:
1) Mutya
2) Mutya
3) Mutya
4) Mutya
5) Mutya
6) Mutya
I appreciate you breaking things down and explaining your choices. I personally would've swapped Mutya and Keisha as I've a preference for Mutya's husky tone but this is your list! Nicely done - nice Overload cover too!
Same
Anyone with ears would agree.
@@jasonhopkins7029 well i've got ears and would disagree lmao. Its all about preference
I personally love Heidi’s voice!!! But mutya and keisha are my day ones and Siobhan is just an angel!!!
Mutya has one of the best voices to come out of Britain, never mind Sugababes! Should be #1
Everyone seems to be slightly biased towards Mutya because of her unique tone and appeal, but an unpopular opinion i completely agree with this list and I think Keisha should be first! Her belts just are so full and soulful to me and she always seemed more of the “vocalist” when Sugababes were starting. 5) Amelle
6) Heidi
Keisha is my favourite, too and I've enjoyed watching the videos on her channel during the past few months.
The OG 3 are great singers, but the mix of them together is next level.
My List would've been
1. Mutya
2.Siobhan
3. Keisha
4.Jade
5. Amelle
6. Heidi
My List would've been
1. HEIDI
2. KEISHA
3. MUTYA
4. AMELLE
5. JADE
6. RED HAIR GIRL
Heidi’s voice blended so well with Mutya and Keisha.
Indeed❤
so was siobhan’s. heidi was selected by keisha and mutya cause she sounded similar to siobhan.
Siobhan is overall dull. Heidi was better
Siobhan is always been good@@dennisvillaflor3359
On the records, yes.. when it comes to live blending........ nevermind
Mutya is hands down the best singer, it's not even a close competition!
Mutya is definitely my number one. Keisha's higher notes are kind of grating and annoying to me
Keisha is very sharp and pitchy on a regular basis, but when she's on point she sounds amazing
Keisha is the best of the best for me. I love her performance, voice, everything. I follow her RUclips video, FB, she is my favourite in the universe.
Mutya would be my number one just for how distinctive her voice is and her whole look too. I wonder where she is now.
Shes back with Keisha and Siobhan they are working towards a new sugababes project next year
Great review and I agree with you almost 100% but personally, Mutya's voice always stood out to me and I think it certainly outshone Keisha's. Nobody could riff as beautifully as she did and her tone was just so distinct - in my mind, no other member could top Mutya when it came to vocal ability. I'm going to name a Fliwer Shop Sugar Babes.
Siobhan 4th? Really? 🤔
She improved a lot in the last years and I don't think she took that into account here
Jade is a much stronger singer, full stop.
MUTYA IS NUMBER 1 !
Mutya and Siobhan are the best to me. I just love their voices.
Agreed!
good choice
I always loved Heidi! She got to the sing the bridge a lot.

@@18mestar I will take a unique voice recognized out of a thousand over perfect technique any day.
Wrote down my order before watching and it’s exactly the same! For me this is definitely the right vocal order especially in respect of their place in the Sugababes
Mutya is the queen of this group. She is number 1.
Has to be Mutya. She just has a style that the others mix well with. She gels with them all vocally. They come and go. She is the foundation.
From weakest to strongest:

Heidi's falsetto is not better than Keisha's or Siobhan's 😂🤣😂🤣😂
What are you taking so I can avoid it?
I still prefer Siobhan. She's so unique
To me Mutya has the most beautiful tone of voice. She's one of my favorite vocal singer ever. Then i will say Keisha, Siobhan and Heidi.
Siobhàn’s voice is by far the best. Her solo material was the best music from the entire bunch
Cool clip Thanks!!! Love The Sugababes and all of the girls!!🤩👍
Heidi stronger than Amelle? I just passed out. I agree with everything else though.
coz the tone of her voice has a characters than amele...
Amelle has a nice husky voice. Heidi had a strange quality when trying to riff. But we can all have opinions.
I think she’s also based her decision on contribution as well, Heidi was much more important to the band than Amelle
Stephan Parker I can’t imagine heidi riffing 😂😂😂
Heidi is the weakest.
Now we need the Saturdays and atomic kitten
Atomic Kitten!!! Yes, please :)))
Mutya. Hands down
Mutya by far is the best singer for me, she's a natural singer with tone and depth, when she left is really was over cause her talent was unlike any other in the group - SHE was the voice of the Sugababes! :-)
I understand why you have rated them in this order based on what you said but not the clips you have shown. My top 6 purely based on live performances would be :
6. Heidi (great recorded struggles live)
5. Amelle ( not including Mutya songs)
4. Jade (Great voice but you're right her voice doesn't fit with the Sugababes blend of harmonies as it overpowers the others)
3. Siobhan ( Recorded she would be Number 1 and her voice has grown the most but she's up against two amazing singers and it's hard to put any of them above the other honestly cos together they are magic)
Mutya really has that unique sultry, husky distinct voice that stands out..Kesha does hit the high notes..I think they're tied at #1.
Honestly i think siobhan is the best out of them. She has good control, vibrato and is really good at delivering a song. In the end shes very versatile.
Jade is the best technical singer though
Heidi is my favourite Sugababe but she's not the best live.
Queen Heidi of incredible Range
I think shes charming live I love an underdog.
Shes the worst live Singer in the band
Mutya is definitely the best singer in the group but I do love Keisha's voice too!
I love amelle prob my favorite sugababes. But mutya & kesha have best voices. My favorite, vocal wise
Siobhan had and always will be my favourite. The sacred three are my girls 🥰
This is the video I've been waiting my whole life
Mutya has a very distinctive voice.
It’s a toss up between Keisha and Mutya for me. Both of their voices are amazing and so unique!
Siobhan is number 1 for me.
the top 4 have pretty impressive voices with soul but amelle n heidi were just brought for mainstream 2000s sex factor imho
Mutya & Siobhan share the spot at Number 1 for me 🏆
I like Mutya's voice the most, but I agree technique wise and ability to adapt in the Sugababes is how I would judge it. I never thought of Jade as a sugababe and amelle's voice never sat quite right with me, because I am such a Mutya fan. I am just sad that Heidi's recording vocals were so good, but her live vocals weren't always the best.
Mutya by far has the better voice out of all of them she my favourite ❤️
Absolutely agreed! Keisha is an amazing singer! The others were good, but her voice has fire in it!
She's mostly the lead singer right?
Keisha is a force such an effortless songstress
Keisha is the #1 for me, she carried the group when Mutya left.
Georgina I love you but Siobhan does not get the recognition she deserves in this channel :( Also, has anyone noticed how amelle in that clip lost the 'husky' tone that made her be compared to mutya smh. Is my life a lie? lol so many questions
It’s 100% Mutya. It’s not even close.
My List is
1 Keisha she is a powerhouse
2 Mutya she has a soulful voice
3 Siobhan she has a versatile angelic voice
4 Jade another angelic voice
5 Amelle she has a similar tone like Mutya but it has a jazz fill to it
6 Heidi the weakest voice
I agree. Keisha has always been my favorite by a mile. I love them all, but Keisha's vocals just touch my soul.
I think you did a fantastic assessment, it wasn’t bias. Keisha is by far the most well rounded, she has power range and tone and controlled and consistent.
Mutya is my fave i like her deep and raspy voice.
1.keisha
2.mutya
3.jade
4.siobhan
5.heidi
6.amelle
Wow. Mutya at #2? I would have put Keisha at #2. In the scheme of putting it all together with harmonies, it would be Sugababes 2.0.
Jade, snatching breath all over the place? Yet Siobhan is so relaxed and flexible- really? I think this is preference over technique
Your ordering is wrong. Amelle is WAY a head of Heidi as far as vocals.
Sean Breeze I agree
She never judged her fairly.
Because no song from 2006-2010 were she was with own songs.
She just judged songs from Mutya
Its just a list of her personal favourites x
Everyone might have a different opinion about where they’d rank each of the Sugababes, but I think we can all agree that:
*_🗣🔊THERE ARE NO WEAK SINGERS IN THE SUGABABES!!!🙌🏾👏🏾🎤🔥✨_*
Preach!
Except Heidi
GoodOlAllisonHarvard THIS! ALL👏🏽OF👏🏽THIS👏🏽
@@ShweMyaukMyauk lmaao
@@ShweMyaukMyauk 😂
My personal opinion, purely based on vocal abilities
6 amelle (still my favorite member)
5 siobhan
4 mutya (very distinctive vocal color)
3 heidi (better range than mutya)
2 kesha (definitely the most stable)
1 jade (she’s THE real singer here. Dang)
Amelle is also my favorite ❤
As for the next groups... All Saints and Mis-teeq please!
I love how all 6 are in the thumbnail
I'd completely forgotten about Sugababes!! They were so original and all talented singers in their own ways. Thanks for the trip down memory lane :)
1. Siobhan
2. Mutya
3. Keisha
4. Jade
5. Heidi
6. Amelle
I think when Mutya left she picked up a lot of pressure to carry the band with her strong vocals and she did an awesome job it really shows on the songs around that time
I disagree I feel like Keisha had more lines and vocal moments then a few others ns
For me it was a complete toss up between Mutya & Keisha. Keisha’s riffs & Mutya’s tone...🤔🔥🤘🏻 Then I’d probably go Jade, Siobhan, Amelle & then Heidi
Yep
1) Mutya
2) Keisha
3) Siobhan
4) Jade
5) Amelle
6) Heidi
I Definitely think that Heidi is the weakest, but I really loved her look. But Mutya, is hands down my favorite. Loved this series. Looking forward to another one
No for full on pitch, tone, texture and taking out pitch it has too be Mutya first hands down.
100% agree with this order
Mutya will always be my number one ☝️
100% the right choice. Keisha’s voice is one of the best in popular music ever.
The three that sounded the best together is Mutya, Keisha & Heidi. They should have kept that line up.
Agree Siobhan isn't a Sugababe.
A mate of mine was part of the backing band during the time one of the Sugababes got sacked and Jade came. Interesting times when you're on the inside watching the shananigans take place.
What where some of the shenanigans he witnessed?
Girl don't tease us! We need the tea and we'll take it scalding!!
Ronnie Nose You managed to say a lot and yet say nothing at all... 🤦🏿♂️.
I really love all 6 of them but I think nowadays my top list are this:
1. Siobhan
2. Jade
3. Mutya
4. Keisha
5. Amelle
6. Heidi
P.s.: I want a reunion with the 6 members! hope so! next year is the 20th anniversary!
Honestly all the originals have good voices all 3 are soulfull you can feel what they are singing, great range and adlibs, Jade can hit high notes but isn't soulfull to me, Heidi only sounds good on slow songs but live she's a hot mess, Amelle no shade but overal so basic
Lmaaao all shade!
So shady but sooo true!!🙌👌😘
Fully agree.
