    Very nice indeed, but i still prefer Janis Ian's version.

      I heard Mireille Mathieu's version before Janis Ian's, so I'm a bit biased. It's a glossier production, but Janis Ian's version is obviously more "authentic". It's nice to compare ;o)

      I think that Janis's performance has an effortless and intimate quality that fits the content of the lyrics with nothing less than perfection.
      It's almost like she was singing in her bedroom.
      For me, the personal nature of this lyrics (many young people can relate with this lyrics) requires a more intimate and quiet delivery.
      This is all subjective, of course!

    Oswa 301 are excellent cartridges, as good as Shure V15/3 SAS and Philips GP412/2!
